Brianna Lyman: Young People “No Longer Dream of California”Hinzugefügt:
I I just I'm I'm throwing this out there, Briana, because Clay and I grew up in an era where I still think, even as a New York kid, it was New York is awesome, maybe even New York is the best, but you got to go live in LA for a while. Is that true for for your Gen Z folks as well?
>> Well, I you know, growing up, my sister was a huge Led Zeppelin fan, and I always heard, you know, go to California, and I thought everybody wants to go to California, or, you know, it never rains in California. That seemed like the state to go to if you wanted your dreams to come true. And yet, a lot of my friends, I even have some friends who've done it, they want to go to Florida. They want to go south, and they want to go to red states. And honestly, the weather's better, in my opinion, in Florida, and also, the leadership is better. You can go on a Florida street and not have to worry about stepping over human feces, whereas in Los Angeles, I was just there this past up I was frightened. Many instances looking out at the street and seeing people who are just suffering from addiction and mental illness, and they're allowed to just live on the streets.
