Paycheck Breakdown💸 Budgeting| Savings| Enjoy Life ProgressAjouté :
Hi everyone, and welcome back to another bi-weekly budget breakdown. So, this paycheck that I'm about to go over it has to last me from May 22nd to June 4th. The amount of that check was $1,025.
So, you guys know I split my bills in half. Do not mind, please, the mess behind me. My daughter is not fully settled in cuz she has triple the things that cannot fit in this house. But, we're going to make it happen. We're going to make it happen.
So, let's talk about let's just take a quick overview of my first paycheck. So, let's just say life I'm telling you right now life was life-ing for me. And I really don't want to get too much into it, but let's just say that God figured out a way for me to get to that school and watch my daughter graduate. It was an amazing weekend.
Um I wasn't my 100% but, you know what?
I was there. And I like I said again, and I'm going to continue saying, thanks to that man above. I keep looking down because he is messing with the thing there. I don't want him to snag my feet.
That first paycheck I tried to um track as much as I can could in my monthly spread. Everything's not going to look even when you guys see it when I do the close out. It's actually going to be probably uneven because I didn't track everything. But, I tried to track as much as I can. And as long as I see some numbers, I think I should be okay.
So, let's just get into paycheck number two for the month of May.
So, rent is going to get $345.
Phone is going to get $100. MTA I was going to give MTA $60, but I still have $30 from last paycheck. So, cuz like I said, I didn't travel that much cuz I didn't go anywhere because life did a number on me.
So, I'm only adding 30, so that's a total of now of $60 that I have in MTA.
So, groceries is going to get us 175, laundry 20. I was going to give more to laundry, but I still have some leftover as you guys can see, $23.75 I still have.
And then enjoy life is going to get 50.
Household 40.
Which household I only spent in household for for what I can see, I only spent $20.90 and out of household. I hope that I you guys can't hear that music because I'm trying to hurry up so you can't they can't pick up the music. Um so emergency fund is going to get 30.
And travel is going to get 60. So I have to beef up my emergency fund because I did have to use some of the money out of there. And let's just say my daughter's graduation, she did get to stay with $500, which I that's a blessing and she was happy about it. So I'm so glad that I saved up for that. So if you have a graduation that's coming up in a year or two, better yet 3 years, start saving now because it's costly. Okay, it costs us. So travel is going to get 60. Buffer is going to get a hundred and fif- $15.
Student loan is going to get 30. So I already made a payment of student loan um the last paycheck so that was a total of $95 that I had paid. I know I said I budgeted 150, but I'm only going to pay what I can, but I still have another video that I'm going to put out um for my side hustle money. So I'm excited for that because I think my side hustle money is was amazing and I was I it was a blessing to receive. I keep going like this. Sorry guys because if you know how I had a rough week, okay? I had a rough two, three weeks. But student loan is 30. So savings is going to get 30 cuz I really really want to start putting in for savings as well.
And as you can see it's a zero-based budget, and that is a total of $1,025.
Now, my goals, I did not write any goals because I noticed that when I write goals, I don't get through them, and I kind of want to keep them to myself because I feel like when I do keep them to myself, that they actually get done, and I'm not fixated on what I wrote because I feel like I have to prove something, and the only person I need to prove to is myself. But, I do have one goal that I do want to finish the Budget 101 because I do have my book that my daughter got me for Mother's Day, and that was we should all be millionaires. So, yeah, that's what I'm trying to finish up as far as a book. I know this video is going to be very, very short, but I did color in my Hold on a minute. I did color into my most basic savings challenge book, and I'm on page I think I told you guys this already.
I'm on page $320.
So, I'm excited for that. Oh, wait, I did want to tell you guys something before I let you guys go. Let me put you up here.
Hopefully, I don't sound crazy. So, I was saving, as some of you guys know, um the one day the $1 Fridays.
So, I got to fill all of this out, and I blessed somebody with the $40. So, I am really, really happy that I was able to do this. I might actually do this again.
I know it's supposed to be a dollar for every Friday, but I was just putting in money as I was having them in cash. And then, for enjoy life, guys, look what I have. I am I've been doing this off camera, and I know that I want to share this with you guys, but I think I'm going to be doing it in a short, so you guys can see and go along with me.
But so far for enjoy life, I have 50, 60, 70, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 88, 89, 90. I have $90 saved so far for enjoy life.
I'm hoping that I'm able to do a little something something this summer because the way it's been getting too too hot here. I think it's going to be either a very very hot summer or a rainy summer the way it's been here in New York. So I have for the dear future me. If you guys are interested in this, I will leave the link below so you guys can purchase it if you want. I think it's for like a dollar or two. It comes with three of them, I believe. So so far, I've saved um $60. So 20, 40, 45. Uh 50, 60. But money has to come out of here because I bought me some clothes um while I was in Albany. So I think it was like $33. I have to take from out of here. Well, $30 I need to take from out of here. And that is it for what I have as far as my cash envelopes. So I hope that you guys enjoyed this video and until next time guys, I'll see you in my next video.
Have a great great great weekend cuz it's Memorial weekend. Please be safe and happy Friday.
