3. Contribute to vaginal tone and sensation. 4. Contract rhythmically during orgasm.
Moreover, when these muscles are healthy and functioning well, some women may experience: 1. Better muscle awareness and control during sexual activity. 2.
Increased vaginal support and tone. 3.
Improved ability to reach orgasm in some cases. 4. Greater comfort and confidence if pelvic floor weakness was causing symptoms such as urinary leakage.
Yoga may help by improving core stability, posture, flexibility, breathing patterns, and awareness of the pelvic region. But it's important to understand that stronger pelvic floor muscles do not automatically mean better sexual function.
