[00:00:03]I'm paraplegic and this is an example of a spasm. So, I'm not moving my leg whatsoever here.

[00:00:09]Um it's just jittering around like it does.

[00:00:12]I often get spasms when I need to empty my bladder. They can last quite a long time or they're quite short like that. I can also get spasms if I hit my leg on something really hard, my body will react by spasming. Um but I'm not moving my leg whatsoever. It kind of looks like I'm faking it when my leg's like jittering around.

[00:00:30]Um but now I'm not faking it. Uh but yeah, it's one of the weird things about spinal cord injury that most people will get spasms. Um if you also have a spinal cord injury, let me know why you get spasms cuz I want to understand whether other people get them when they need to empty their bladder as well. Cuz like for me, that's a good sign that I need to self-catheterize. So, it's actually handy.
