Chase Sapphire Reserve Paid $550 After a 4-Day Bag DelayAjouté :
My suitcase [music] went missing for 4 days in Europe, but I was able to get new clothes for free.
Hi, I'm Carolyn, a digital nomad, and I travel to over 120 countries, but this is the longest my bag has ever been delayed. A couple weeks ago, during my annual migration to Europe, and my bag got delayed. But luckily, I paid for the flight with my Chase Sapphire Reserve.
It covers $100 per person per day for up to 5 days, starting after just a 6-hour bag [music] delay. And all I paid was the taxes on my award ticket. Just from this, we'll get [music] back over $550.
No other card matches the Sapphire Reserve's [music] level of built-in travel coverage, especially for one-way flights and award redemptions, which, as a digital nomad, I do a lot of. That's why it stays in my wallet, even though the annual fee just to jump to $795, one of the most expensive credit cards on the market to carry. But thanks, Chase. This was one of the best shopping sprees that I didn't plan.
