Wall Street Wants to be Bearish. The Catch-Up Trade Says Otherwise.Añadido:
So, I think we have learned that the markets are usually right. And when there's so many people on one side, which is so pessimistic about the economy, everyone's so focused on this energy shock. And there's no doubt, that's inflationary. However, the market's telling us that that's not going to be here for the next six to eight months. It is a short-term thing that we have to deal with, and the market is completely blowing it off. So, the markets are telling us that things are a lot stronger than what consensus believes. And this is why we think this market is going to get away from many people. We'll have some dips, but I think so many people are offsides because of the war that there's going to be a more of a catch-up trade with a lot of cash that has to come off the sidelines. The shorts have gotten crushed.
>> Yeah. They're having to cover all their shorts, and there's just people now they're stuck. And so, anytime there's like a 1% dip is going to feel like a 5% dip.
