Pokemon anniversary sets represent low-risk investment opportunities because they are released on a predictable five-year cycle, and historical data shows consistent price appreciation over time; the 30th anniversary set is expected to follow this pattern with ETBs rising to $500 and ETVs reaching $1,000 as the release date approaches, making it an attractive long-term investment despite initial market skepticism.

Pokemon Is Reprinting First Edition... The Market Will COLLAPSE!Added:
Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Team Rocket Joey. Yes, sir. And today we have got the reveal of the 30th anniversary.
Now, the video came out and it was about 10 to 15 cards that were actually revealed. I am ultra bullish on the 30th anniversary, just like I was ultra bullish on the 25th anniversary. It does not take a lot of brain power to compute that. We get an anniversary set once every five years. I'm like a broken record on this channel at this point in time today. But guys, you have to think about it this way. You're taking literally zero risk purchasing an anniversary set. Now, we are in a different market than we were in when the 25th anniversary came out. You know, it wasn't as hyped. Everybody wasn't into it. Pokemon was still looked at as, you know, like goofy and nerdy, whatever. But now, we're in a market where everybody likes it. So, just be aware people's knee-jerk reactions to the set reveal of 10 to 15 cards is, you know, probably going to come back and haunt them because the ETBs are going to be $500 one day. The ETVS are going to be $1,000 one day. You know, the regular ETBs for celebrations are pushing $400 now. I expect those to rise up as we get closer to the actual release date of the 30th anniversary.
generations is probably going to go up as well because we're just in that time of the cycle where the anniversary sets are bound to move and set new floors and set higher lows. It's just the way it goes. I don't make up the rules. I just follow the data and use my brain to actually sit here and understand that you should probably be buying into anniversary sets and not clowning on them. It's just one plus one equals two.
So, Poke Beach came out and they announced the 30 probable cards that will be in the set. Now, we did get a older video a few months back about some cards. There was a Crystal Lugia, a Pia Level X, and other stuff like that. Guys, if we get the Crystal Lugia in the 30th anniversary foiling and texturing, it's going to be my favorite card. It's going to be my chase card. I already know right now. the packs. There are five cards per pack. I don't expect any of these cards to be rare at all. Literally not rare at all. It's going to be extremely easy to hit. Usually, whenever they do these uh subsidized pack counts, it's usually very easy to hit the cards out of. The last time they did this was with Celebrations, and I believe they also did it with Detective Pikachu. I'm not really too sure on that, but I think they were smaller packs. Not not 100% sure, but for Celebrations for sure, it was four card packs.
And guys, about six to eight to 12 months after Celebrations came out.
Well, really like 12 to like 12 a year to two years after Celebrations came out was the all-time low. Like super low. No one cared about it. But two years feels like an eternity in this market because everybody wants to have things go up instantly, immediately. They they want that instant gratification. That's the market we're in. instant gratification market.
But guys, just don't you you have to realize that these cards are going to be super easy to hit and super just available, widely available to everybody. Pokemon wants everyone to enjoy the 30th anniversary. Now, a couple complaints and a couple things.
Actually, we'll talk about the cards first because I know people want to hear about the cards. Shining Celaby, Crystal Lugia, Dark Tyranitar.
You have, of course, a reprint.
Charizard, Pikachu. Guys, on the Poke Beach post, he put the first edition stamps, guys. Pokemon is going to reprint first edition cards. Imagine what happens to the market, man. Imagine what happens to the market if they put the first edition stamp on these cards again. It's over with. Straight to zero.
100% straight to zero. Uh, Pacquiao level X, Scizor level X. You have the Dark Riot and Cresselia uh call I believe it's I don't even know legend cards. And then we also do very cringe bro in my personal opinion. The Raichu amazing rare got to be rage bait.
And the Zashian V got to be rage bait.
The funniest one that he I feel like it's rage bait. It must be rage bait.
There's no other way around it of it not being rage bait. The Magic Harp from Pada Evolved is listed as a card that is going to be in the 30th anniversary.
Guys, the sickest and saddest twisted thing possible here that could happen for that card is the 30th anniversary foiling and texturing is going to be absolutely 1,000% better than the original copy.
Guys, if we get this Shinji carp in the 30th foiling with the gold and the and the stars and the texturing on the card, guys, how they evolve literally might collapse to zero because the only thing holding that entire set up is the Shinji carp and how hard it is to hit.
But there's that's the thing. That card is trash. That card is super trash. And if they introduce foiling and a gold border, like bro, the market meltdown is class. The PA evolved market meltdown is absolutely going to be unhinged because at the same time, Pday Evolved is one of the worst sets ever created.
We do have the Greninja, the break card, absolutely trash. So, what am I thinking after seeing all these cards, after seeing this big reveal, you know, we have the the the Fur rarity, futuristic rarity, whatever, of the Mewtwo and the Mew. Uh, I I know those cards aren't for me. I mean, they'll probably be expensive, but at the same time, I it's too much going on on those cards, honestly, for me personally. I love the Crystal Lugia. I will be getting a thousand copies of that card if it goes to like 20 bucks.
If it goes if it goes below 20 bucks, bro, Crystal Lugia reprint, but it's going to be widely available, guys. I'm backing the truck up on that card alone. Lugia, one of my favorite cards. Lugia, one of my favorite Pokemon. It is what it is. What I'm doing, I will be casing up to high heaven. I literally case case the most amount of cases. The 30th anniversary will indeed be my largest position and I will hold it and I will buy it and I will continue buying it. I hope it crashes. I hope I buy it high and it crashes lower. I hope it crashes to MSRP. I hope it crashes under MSRP so I could buy more. I literally want to have the most amount of the 30th anniversary because I'm ultra bullish on anniversary sets. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out.
That it's almost guaranteed profit. It's almost guaranteed money. Literally, it's almost guaranteed. If we go back and just look at the data, go look at generations. What are the ETBs at now?
Like 2,000, a thou, I don't even know. I'll pop it up on the screen. Go look back at celebrations. The ETBs were $30 on sale.
Now they're 400. Like just imagine you imagine the clownery that's going to go on. Imagine all the clown. A this set sucks. I hate this stamp. It's just reprint. It's going to be the same exact thing we hear every single time. All you have to do is block out the noise and be like, I'm not a dumb Timmy. I can I I can make my own decisions and literally understand that if I have a long-term view of the 30th anniversary set, I will indeed be in a better financial situation five years down the road. Once the 35th anniversary comes out, I would have made a killing on my money. I would have guys do a down to at some point from now until the 35th anniversary. We will go into a bare market where you can buy a bunch of stuff cheaper than it is today. Especially singles, guys. None of these singles, none of these graded slabs are rare at all. At some point, we'll be back. We'll be back to normal and we'll be back to buying when nobody wants any of it. We'll literally have the opportunity of a lifetime again.
And just know I'll be starting my purchasing of the 30th annivers. You know, I I do have one critique about this about this set. I do have one critique. I'm not going to just sound ultra bullish. I do have one critique.
So, the set name in English is the 30th celebration.
Pokemon Company, please, can you please try at least try because I know you guys get away with literally everything. You get away with everything. You could literally put Pokemon on a rock and sell it and it'll sell out. Can you please, for the love of God, try to make a set name that isn't the same exact set name as the last anniversary set. 30th Celebration. The set before was celebrations.
Please, can you could have named it anything. You You had the whole dictionary. You had the whole dictionary to choose a name and you went with the same exact name you used five years ago.
Pokemon got to be better. Can't you can't do this to us, man. You've gotten away with too much. From trash game after trash game, not up to date with the tech. From sets to small set, literally four sirs per set. Like, you guys are getting away with capital murder, bro. There's no way. And people are just buying it up, bro. paying 250 for Chaos Rising, paying 250 for Pitch Black, paying 250 for Perfect Order.
Like the the Day of Reckoning is coming fast, but I won't be buying any more Pokemon until the 30th anniversary comes out. Um, I might sell off a bunch of stuff. Guys, don't be surprised if people start fireselling prismatic, fires selling ascended heroes, being like, "Oh my goodness, it's the 30th anniversary."
I've seen it all happen before. This all happened before with celebrations.
People were fireelling off their evolving skies. People were fireelling off their fusion strike. People were fire selling off their shining fades.
All of these sets were super hyped, by the way, at the time of their release.
And then celebrations went down to below MSRP.
history tends to rhyme and it looks like and I'm very I have a very very high suspicion that is almost going to be identical to the last cycle because at this point in time today it has most certainly almost one for one been identical to exactly what happened last anniversary.
Make sure you guys like and subscribe.
Comment down below. Do you like the 30th anniversary? I think it's actually one of the best sets we've gotten in a quite a long time, especially if we get that Crystal Lugia. Man, guys, all the cards aren't revealed yet. Don't uh don't overdo yourself, you know?
Like, you can't like Perfect Order, Chaos Rising, and Pitch Black and hate on the 30th anniversary. It doesn't make sense. I will be talking to you guys all very
