RARE METAL ARROWHEADS FOUND IN SOUTH CAROLINA!! 🤯😳Added:
Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Let's see if it's a heart.
Oh my gosh, it was.
It's a freaking blunt point. I thought it was a freaking flake.
Thank you, Lord.
It's a blunt point or a half-to scraper, whatever you want to call it. Oh, that That makes my day right there.
Yes.
If that's not one, that's a good faker.
Looks like cement.
But guess what?
It's not. It's an arrowhead.
Oops.
Wow.
That's cool.
I'll take it. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you, God. Thank you, Native Americans.
Back out here. This is a first.
I detected this.
This is a pewter pipe, you guys.
Listen.
All right, I'm going to put it away.
Oh, man.
I wish this is really what I want it to be, but I don't think it is.
I wish I was in Michigan right now.
Cuz this would be a Kettle Point.
I don't know what it is though.
It's broke.
Mhm.
I don't know. A few moments later.
Okay, this is really crazy.
This could be like This is my number two bucket lister.
The second one. The first one is a gold ex scoodle.
All right, maybe it's not even it. Let's just see. Let me show you guys. This is if it is, I will be stoked.
All right.
This is where it was.
Picked it up and cleaned it off because I could not believe what I was seeing.
Is this really a Kettle Point?
I can't breathe.
Is this really a Kettle Point?
I seen the shape and I was like, well, if it has a hole in it, then we have a better chance.
So, I started cleaning with my finger and there's a hole in it.
You guys, I think this might be a Kettle Point.
I don't know what else it would be.
Oh my god. Oh my god, I really, really, really hope that's what it is.
Cuz that would be amazing.
Call me crazy, but that looks like copper.
Wonder if that's a copper nugget.
Wouldn't that be cool?
After thinking about that and I kept digging and the fact that I found that first one and I thought, "Yeah, maybe it could be." You know, I always think that when I see something kind of shape like that, a triangle.
But then to find another one and the hole was seriously in there.
Like my heart is just pounding out of my chest.
My knees are weak.
I really think that I found my first kettle point 100% 100% I really think I did, you guys. I think I did it. When you least expect it, you find the most amazing stuff.
And I am so thankful. I dig every freaking target at a good site because wow.
Thank you, Lord. That is a serious blessing.
Kettle points are Native American projectile points.
They're basically arrowheads made from repurposed brass or from copper kettles that they would acquire through European trade. After they have used their copper kettles up, they would then cut them up into pieces, sometimes being in triangular pieces, and sometimes they would put holes in them because then they could use animal sinew and attach them to a wooden shaft. These were common from the 1600s to the early 1800s.
Finding a kettle point in South Carolina is extremely rare, but that didn't stop me, and I kept trying, and praise the Lord, I was blessed with two of them. I am so happy to have these.
