[00:04:34]After thinking about that and I kept digging and the fact that I found that first one and I thought, "Yeah, maybe it could be." You know, I always think that when I see something kind of shape like that, a triangle.

[00:05:03]I really think that I found my first kettle point 100% 100% I really think I did, you guys. I think I did it. When you least expect it, you find the most amazing stuff.

[00:05:33]Kettle points are Native American projectile points.

[00:05:37]They're basically arrowheads made from repurposed brass or from copper kettles that they would acquire through European trade. After they have used their copper kettles up, they would then cut them up into pieces, sometimes being in triangular pieces, and sometimes they would put holes in them because then they could use animal sinew and attach them to a wooden shaft. These were common from the 1600s to the early 1800s.

[00:06:09]Finding a kettle point in South Carolina is extremely rare, but that didn't stop me, and I kept trying, and praise the Lord, I was blessed with two of them. I am so happy to have these.
