China: OK, the UK: No way

[00:00:00]There's something you can do in China, guys, you can never do in the UK. Stand at the gate of a kindergarten just filming with a camera phone. And uh to give some context, it is my wife and she's filming our daughter who's practicing jumping rope in there. But I was just thinking while I watched my wife do that, if this was in the UK, somebody would come along and say, "Uh, no, no, no, no, no. You can't do that."

[00:00:27]Um, I mean, even if they knew she was like the mom of one of the kids, they'd be like, "Uh, you can't film here." You know, it would be um violating some kind of privacy or something. I know she's not. My wife isn't like filming the other kids. She's like zoomed in on Millie. And here in China, I feel like there's a lot more kind of like um leeway with this kind of stuff. It's kind of like common sense, you know?

[00:00:49]It's like obviously she's one of the kids' mom. She's just filming one of the kids. she's not going to like post the video like all over the internet or something. Um but yeah, just seeing my wife do that just there. I was just thinking uh there's just no way, you know, and um let me know in the comments section because I would be interested to know from you guys who still live in the UK what you think of this and what you think would happen actually if somebody did this uh back in the UK because um I just get the feeling that there's just no way this would happen. And there have been like um some kind of like old guys and stuff just coming past just like looking in. And um I feel that that would be even more unacceptable where I'm from. And these guys are maybe they have like grandchildren. They go to this school. Maybe they're just interested.
