And I would like to thank also the most excellent Antonio Costa for his kind words. We had a dinner last night here at the National Palace seeking the best of relationships with the European Union and the rest of the countries of the world. I I also kindly recognize the representatives of the European Union, all the business people, diplomats and the media who are gathered here together. Mexico is receiving the European Union in this building fully convinced that we have a historical milestone in our relationship. Our nations have both chosen cooperation and shared welfare. Mexico has decided to look into the eyes of the world with dignity and strength and trust that we are a nation who knows who it is and where we're headed to. Our country is not only a dynamic and sound economy.

[00:01:32]Mexico is the grandeur of its people and the strength of the diversity of our culture. Mexico is also the creativity of its people and the hope of millions of men and women who every day build development and welfare with their hard work. Today, Mexico is undergoing trans a deep transformation based on deep uh clear principles, shared prosperity, freedom, liberty, democracy, sovereignty, and international cooperation. Because we believe that economic development makes sense when it is sustainable and it translates into welfare for the people. The European Union has shown the world that cooperation for development is feasible.

And this is a role model for the world by strengthening the global agreement. And the three agreements that the European Union and Mexico have signed today are far more than instruments or trade instruments. They are the possibility of consolidating a strategic relationship and partnership based on mutual respect, equality among nations and trust in a future and a common future. So our agreement opens opportunities for both regions. We will have trade exchanges and we will be supplemental to each other. We will strengthen our supply chains and will generate new investments to propel well- paid and decent jobs. The fund that the European Union will invest in strengthening the plan. The relationship between Europe and the European Union and Mexico will be an example of strengthening our economy while we respect our sovereignty, integration with a human face and also with social commitment.
