A magnetic quick coupler/diverter valve tool for mini excavators uses 14-gauge tubing and 1/8-inch flat bar with strategically spaced magnets to provide strong adhesion (approximately 45 lbs pull force) while allowing easy removal by pulling the side knob; the tool fits semi-automatic quick couplers with 23.6mm x 20mm center levers and diverter valves with 19mm fittings, and can be positioned on any flat metal surface for convenient hydraulic control.

Semi automatic quick coupler and diverter valve tool for mini excavators
Added:Good morning. Before we get started, let me make clear this is a marketing video.
So, if you're not interested in that sort of thing, go ahead and click off.
Today is Sunday, June the 21st, 2026.
Happy Father's Day to all our dads out there, including myself. In a previous video, I had made a semi-automatic quick attach tool uh coupled with a diverter valve tool for mini excavators with a semi-automatic quick attach.
Uh this is the prototype that I made in that video, and I'll link that video in the description.
I had a few people that uh showed some interest in obtaining one, so I decided to make a few uh about three uh wrenches, got some more magnets, and I made uh five blanks.
So, I've got two that I have not put magnets on yet, but I can order magnets if enough people are interested to make more. I can make another batch if I needed to. These are made out of 14-gauge 1 by 2 tubing, which requires an entire piece because you have to cut more than half of it, and a piece of 1/8-in flat bar welded together. These fit semi-automatic quick attaches with a center lever size of 23.6 mm by 20 mm or 0.93 in by 0.78 in, and uh there's a little wiggle room there. And uh diverter valves with a 19-mm fitting on them. Uh I made them basically the same as the other one. The wrenches are positioned in the same manner. I used the same magnets. I did space the magnets out a little bit further uh because that allows uh them to stick even stronger than they did in the original video. I'm going to list the price of these in the description as the cost of materials may change uh if I'm still making these in the future.
So, let's walk over to the mini excavator and show you one of them.
First of all, these things stick really good, but you can get them off without pulling on the wrench.
And that's the uh center lever on the quick connect.
They just fit on there like that, and you pull the side knob and uh release the mechanism.
They also fit the diverter valve.
And uh there's basically anywhere you got flat metal, you can put it. I keep mine here. Let me say this, uh it will pinch your fingers if you put it on like this.
So, always hold on to the wrench and set it down like that.
That's where I keep mine at, but like I said, you can put them anywhere. So, if you're interested in getting one of these, uh look at the price in the description, and if you're still interested at that point, I will have my email address for the channel in the description. It's also always in the channel description, as well.
I'm going to put a couple of clips from the original video here, and have a good day. But, you can stick it anywhere.
Uh there, there, there, here, here, anywhere at all, up there, even back here. Sky's the limit.
And this just goes on there, and you can turn it.
Turn your hydraulics to your attachment or to your thumb. Of course, you have to do it on both sides.
All right, so let's see how much it takes to pull this thing off.
A fish scale.
15 20 25 30 Went back and looked at where the numbers were on the dial of the fish scale and it looks more like it was came loose right at 45 lbs.
It's extremely difficult to pull it straight off. Now, you can pull it from here with that angle and it comes off fairly easy.
But, it sticks pretty damn good.
