The backlash against Ozempic exposes a societal obsession with "earned suffering," where we value the struggle of weight loss more than the actual health outcome. It reveals a fragile social hierarchy that feels threatened when a medical shortcut democratizes the status previously reserved for those with extreme discipline.

Ppl On Ozempic Shamed Worse Than Those Who Don't Lose WeightAdded:
Now, when it comes to Ozempic, uh I never took it. Not because I give a [ __ ] about what other people think, but because I heard it's unsafe. Um there have been cases where people's eyesight was affected, and even though I understand those are rare cases, uh I'm not willing to gamble with my eyesight.
Especially not at this age, and uh I I can't imagine what it's like to live with being blind. And so, uh because of that, I simply chose not to take it.
But, when [snorts] other people took it, I I never gave a [ __ ] Like, never ever. In In fact, like it never even crossed my mind that I should care if someone uh has lost weight while taking Ozempic, or they have lost weight without. Um the reality is that they lost weight, which is a good thing, because I have to pay for their health care, right? Like, the Romanian government is forcing me to pay for other people's health care.
Uh I haven't needed to go to a hospital in decades, and yet every single month I have to pay uh for the medical bills of others. And so, uh at least I hope that my money goes to a kid with leukemia, than some [ __ ] that is fat, and because of that he's uh now getting uh diabetes.
And I have to pay for him. And he doesn't even appreciate it. He doesn't even tell me, "Wow, thank you, V. You're so kind. You're keeping me alive." No, he thinks the government is keeping him alive, right? Do you see the system I live in? And so, uh the more thin people we have, the better. If it was up to me, I would just wave a magic wand, and all of you chuckleheads would lose weight.
But, uh there's a study which shows that not everyone thinks this way. In fact, uh statistically speaking, it seems uh most people judge individuals that lose weight with Ozempic far more than they judge fat people.
And what's also interesting, the study also shows that individuals that have lost weight with Ozempic and then gain it again are receiving a lot more judgment than the people that have lost weight the traditional sense and then gain it again.
And so I definitely had to think like why exactly do people think this way though? You know, how do they rationalize it? And I believe there are a couple of reasons for it.
The first one is that people want the suffering. I think this is the main one, right? Like when someone is fat society believes that they're fat usually because they're lazy.
Which in my opinion used to be true in the past but now not so much. Like for example, I know a lot of truck drivers that are fat. I know a lot of plumbers that are fat. Like these are individuals that actually do work for a living but because of the quality of food we're having especially the type of food that's in the United States. Like there were Europeans that went to the US and didn't change their lifestyle at all all of a sudden became fat.
Alternatively, there were Americans that came into Europe and didn't change their lifestyle at all and they started becoming thin, right? And so a lot of the thing is like literally the day-to-day food that people are buying.
And so >> [clears throat] >> it's not necessarily that they're fat because they're lazy. But again, like people genuinely believe this. Like when they see a fat person is like a person that's not taking care of themselves.
And so they want to see the effort. Like they want to see that they go to the gym that um they they have discipline. They go on a diet. Like they want that visible suffering, right? Like the weight loss is not enough. Like society wants the morality play, right? Like the individuals just addicted on morality.
Not morality for themselves, but like morality for others. This is the drug of 2026. Like seeing strangers be subjected to the morality that you're setting for them. Uh I think that this is also uh a lot because people don't want to have children.
Uh I do believe that a man is actually designed to be the head of the household and therefore like you should moralize to the people that he's related with.
But when a man doesn't have a household, he starts moralizing to others because he is a broken man.
Obviously, it's not always the case, right? Like for example, uh the reason I'm even realizing this is because Sargon of Akkad made a video back in the day talking about those epic and how unfair it is that uh medicine has robbed society of the struggle.
And uh you know, I mean that's his take, I guess, but >> [clears throat] >> listening to his video made me realize something else. It made me realize why other people are upset. You see, I remember that Sargon of Akkad was fat.
He was very fat.
Uh but he actually worked out. He went uh and did the rock climbing.
He uh went to the gym. He kept a diet and he became fit, right? So like he actually suffered for a living.
And so when a person suffers and then sees someone else not suffering, they get resentment. Now whether this resentment is pious, you know, maybe it's virtuous to have this resentment, I don't know, but I I notice people do have it a lot. And it's not just about this.
Uh I remember when I was playing World of Warcraft back [clears throat] in the day, and uh people that fought hard in order to achieve at a certain place in the game were absolutely livid when Blizzard made it very easy for other people to get epics. And so uh all of the effort, all of the resources put in, they they they felt meaningless when other people could get the same [ __ ] for free, right? And I think like this is the same situation with the Ozempic.
It's like the individuals that actually put work and effort, they didn't did it for just for themselves. They did it because they wanted to be accepted by society. And so now when they see other people being accepted by society without the effort, they feel like it's cheating.
Uh so the morality play, the cheating, the resentment, and then there's also >> [clears throat] >> the uh social ladder we have in our head, right? Um most people will not admit it, but the reality is, despite what people say, uh a lot of individuals consider ugly people to be beneath them, right? Like if you are uh a person that's very beautiful, right? Like a a woman with big fat tits, a plump ass that is sought after by other men, uh subconsciously, you will think that ugly women that don't get the same male attention are beneath you. Uh not not necessarily like in a ladder, uh but but like socially, right? Like that woman knows that if a man enters the room, she will he will go to her first before the other, right?
And so like these individuals are safe.
Whether it's a fat coworker, a fat friend, you know, like someone that's harmless, socially speaking, um people recognize that and they surround themselves with these individuals. And so when that person suddenly loses weight, it kind of destabilizes the social norms, right? Like all of a sudden that individual uh becomes a competitor. Like they used to be the safe girl to be around cuz like she was fat, and all the guys came to you cuz you have big tits, but now she lost weight, and so the guys can now go to her, and she's dangerous to keep her up.
Uh and And course, you know, like the Ozempic is the cope because like what people want when they're uh upset about someone, like they want a reason. They want a legitimate reason that other people would say, "I I, she's got a point, right, to be upset." You can't just say, "Well, I don't like your face." Or well, you know, you just lost weight and so now I'm feeling threatened. You can't say that. But like with Ozempic, you definitely can.
Uh so it kind of ruins that whole fake empathy script, you know, where people say, "Oh, you know, it's it's okay, like she's beautiful as being fat." And then when she actually loses weight and is actually becomes beautiful, all the empathy goes out the window.
Uh and of course, you know, it's the I told you so aspect as well. It's uh the idea that um a lot [clears throat] of individuals like to be proven right. And so they will make an assessment, "Ah, if you take the pill and you don't work out, you're actually going to get weight again." And when the person gets WEIGHT AGAIN, "AH!"
YOU KNOW?
>> [snorts] >> I ACTUALLY noticed that, like back when I lost weight, uh I pissed off a lot of gym bros. I don't and I don't know why, but now I do after making this video, I realized it.
So uh the reason I lost weight isn't because I cared about other people, like I generally have this ability of not giving a [ __ ] about what anyone thinks outside my family.
Um and probably like big backers as well, you know, people that support the channel cuz like they generally support the channel and they're helping my family, so I have to care about what they think.
>> [snorts] >> But like other than that, no, I I do not give a [ __ ] about what other people think.
And so uh when I decided to lose weight, it isn't because like other people were shaming me. I decided to lose weight because I remember I got up a bunch of st- a flight of stairs >> [snorts] >> and I was gasping for breath. And I realized that unless I do something, I'm going to become so obese that uh I'm going to end up in a hospital.
And so uh what I did was uh I got a diet.
Like literally that's it. I I I went to a dietitian and I got a diet.
And um I didn't want to work out. I didn't want to go to the gym cuz I definitely don't have time. Like I was making four YouTube videos a day, one live stream, and then I was working on my video game as well. So that that's a lot of time, you know? And I I didn't want to have like also a habit to go to the gym.
And I just had a diet. But like all the gym bros were freaking the [ __ ] out.
It's like, "How can you not go to the You need to go to the gym. You need to get buff. You need to get fit." It's like, "No, I'm not interested in that."
Like my goal is not to get fit. My goal is to lose weight.
And I did. I did lose weight by by having a diet.
And people were livid. They're like, "Oh, why do you pay a dietitian?" Well, because it worked.
Not to mention the psychological aspect of paying someone, right? Like you feel like you've already invested money and so like not listening to what that person says makes you get the buyer's remorse.
But yeah, so see this is why I don't really have friends that much cuz I I kind of understand how society functions and I kind of understand these motivations. And so when I see someone raging about Ozempic I'm wondering like, "Okay, so under which category are you?"
And again, like why do you care? Like this is not your son. This is not your child. This is not your mom or your dad.
It's not a family-related issue. Like you're raging at a stranger for using Ozempic. What the [ __ ] is wrong with you?
Right? Like like what motivates you to do that?
And so when I'm being like that, people don't want to be around me. It's like, "No, no, like obviously, you know, I do it out of compassion." [ __ ] [ __ ] Nothing is done out of compassion. Even when you donate to a beggar, you don't do it out of compassion. You do it because it feels good, you know? I seriously And so I I do not buy the compassion aspect. No, no. Compassion is between family. But but other than that, no.
No, with strangers, very rarely.
Sometimes, sometimes, sure. But like, I'm a little bit more jaded.
>> [snorts] >> Uh let me know what you guys think though. And as usual, I'll see you in the comment section.
Take care.
