Baker provides a raw sociological insight into the brutal game theory of prison survival, where trust is a high-stakes currency and betrayal is a constant threat. It is a compelling study of human behavior under the most extreme institutional pressures.

C Donnie Caught Him Trying To Tell On FolksHinzugefügt:
What up? What up? You already know what time it is. Y now tuned in with your guy Joe T and I tell prison stories. Why?
Because I did 10 years in prison. And who better to give you the game other than somebody who done lived and is on the other side of life. And when I say on the other side of life, I don't mean on the other side of the fence or outside of prison. I'm talking about on the other side of life, the good life.
Lock in.
I really speak my mind. Humility really kept me alive. This generation kill you, cancel you cuz of your pride. Wo to those who playing victim get pushed to the side. Accountability change my life.
I was living a lie. Nowadays you strike a man e now you doing life or taking a life. You stuck on.
>> Okay. So boom. White boy Cody would rather tell to get moved versus allowing one of the guys to just say, "Hey, if you want to move out of the cell, you could just move out of the cell." One thing for sure, two thing for certain.
in life or in the penitentiary. A lot of people don't know how to communicate and just say exactly how they feel because they scared and worried about how it's gonna make a person feel that maybe they done built the bond with. Maybe this person done loaned them something. Maybe this person done saved them a couple of times. I'm talking about just came in and shine light in a dark place. Maybe this person was there uh when you was going through some hardships and now maybe you just want to not cut ties, but you need some separation. you need to go your separate way and whatever the case may be. And maybe, you know what I'm saying, if it come back full circle, it come back full circle. Me personally, in my own life, it's been some things that I've wanted to say, but I just didn't know how to say it because of the bonds that I done built with these people.
even when they done put it right there on the table for me to go ahead and say exactly how I felt, exactly what I thought and to get the opportunity to go on my separate way. For some reason, there was a hesitancy there and I still said something that kept me joined to something I could have just easily walked away from. I've had sillies in the penitentiary where I done been like, "Hey, silly man, you been, you know what I'm saying? Even my s I it was a few time I was like hey Shelly man what's up man we good and he would be like yeah yeah yeah yeah we good J why why why you keep asking me that bro I done said over the last couple days you done as had me well we good well when you done been around a person for a certain amount of time and you know a person character and you know how they carry theirself you know when the energy done shifted and really you tolerating a person but you know you don't really want to cut the tie. Maybe because that person beneficial to you. Maybe because you know if I leave this I'm going to end up in a worse situation. The grass ain't greener on the other side. But right now, I don't like the way something may have went or the way something was said or how I was treated because there was several times, even though I messed with my selling, he was white folks and I did something on the base of not that he was the guys, but he was a white boy in the penitentiary. And this is how this go. And you already know this how this go. Just like when he went up to the visitation and he decided to pop something in the middle of his body for a 33. You don't know what a 33 is. Let me know you ain't never been to the penitentiary. You ain't never been to the penitentiary. They said I advised you to never go to the penitentiary. And just so happened Maxi come back and tell me, hey, I think I seen something. And when he come in the sale, I hey, go on and poop that out for me, my boy.
But I it's a calculated strategic move.
Not on a basic. Yeah. That he was GD. I can hold that to him. But I can't hold it over his head because GD also hold that over my head because I had one of the guys up here doing it. But on the basis of your history and being white folks, I can most definitely manipulate the situation.
And you got to submit and bow down to that or I'm Judas Scarhead.
I'm crossing you out. Point blank period. So I'm sitting in the Z one day.
I'm cool and I'm chilling. I'm minding my business like I always do, right? All of a sudden dramatic affect me please.
Hey uh hey Jod D. J. I said, "Man, what's up, C man?"
J, man.
He just draw it out like that. I said, "Man, I'm walking to the door." I get up off the bump, right? I walk to the door.
Man, what's up, man? By the time I pop the door, pow! He's still standing there left over to right, man.
J man, look man. I said, man, what's a come in his head real quick? He stepped in his head, man.
Bless his hell, Joe T, man. I said I said, man, what's up? What going on? He pulled the door. Bloom, man. Look, check this out, right? I'm looking out for you. I know you're going to look out for me, right? Them tent rules in the V. I'm down there popping it on the right. I said, what? What the gandler? I'm down there in the candles out. I'm down there. You know what I'm saying? I'm talking to her. You know what I'm saying? My recla coming to I've been thinking I want to go to Nor, right? You know, I want to go to the Thunderdome. I want to, you know what I'm saying? You know, I called the C down there cuz you know what I'm saying?
They say the dog swanging down there.
You know what I'm saying? Down here. You know, we it is it's straight down here, but down there they say, man, look, I can walk straight out the window. Walk straight out the unit, go on the yard, go up to the top of the hill. I'm talking about mop all the way back down.
You know what I'm saying? I ain't got to that what they telling me. Then they saying the horn down there for you know what I'm saying? So I want to do my time a certain way. But I'm sitting in there.
I'm popping on. Right. Look, look, look, J. She got the computer. I'm telling I need like where my points is and my writer how long ago they write. Look, Jot, I'm in the I'm on telling you that cuz you already know how it go. So, the way she's sitting, I can tell she sitting there like she a hooper, Jot. I said, "What you What you What you mean like a hooper, man?" The way she she lean back on the desk like this here.
You know what I'm saying? Like she just talking to me like she one of the guys or something like she the homeboy or something like she just sitting like this here. And if you've been to the penitential before, then you know the counselors, they coming in dressed casual, but you know what I'm saying? A woman sitting in that chair pulled up.
You know what I'm saying? So he was talking about G is in there, right? So I went on and was like, "Let me I want to see the computer." You know, a lot of time, you know, they turn the computer, you know what I'm saying, to make sure ain't no other inmates in the office.
You know, they'll turn the computer where you can just look real quick to see what going on with your history.
Right. So she said, Come on. Come on. Round the come on around the desk this Y. So I look right. I'm trying to read the body language. Right. I look I'm talking about I hit her with the L CJ.
Right. I You want me to come around and she talking about? Yeah. Come on around and dance.
All right.
So I get up J. I go around the desk. She turn toward me. Right now I'm talking about I look I got ner right I got n I ain't going to lie to you man but look cow walk by white boy Cody walked by while I'm in there I said Cody one in his head was your vote you know what I'm saying I said oh yeah yeah yeah she go he did be head in the door I'm behind the death I'm trying to you know what I'm saying I'm trying to He done dipped in talking about so did you decide she talking about not yet I let you know by the end of the day right so he walk out she he get on me she done grabbed the computer at that point I threw out the whole little vibe and your t went back you know what I'm saying I sit in the chair you know what I'm saying I'm still talking to her she talking back we talking we we we converting we having a whole little conversation right so I'm like what what's up with dude You know what I'm saying? What's going on with Cody?
She talking about he claiming her talking me talking about it silly and he don't want to be around no smoke.
I thought my ears had deceive me. J I ain't going to lie. I say I thought my ear had deceive me. Now I done seen little Cody at the microwave plenty of time when y'all eating. I done seen Cody pull up.
I don't never see him on the blue box.
So I'm knowing somebody letting him get on the hammer.
He always smoking. I done smoke with him head plenty time. I'm talking about I'm matching. I pull up on I ain't got nothing to smoke right now. hate telling me, "Oh, brother." You know what I'm saying? So, she say, "I ain't trying to be around all this smoking. I'm going to get my recla. I'm trying to go to the annex."
So, I try to play smooth. I just hit her with the Oh yeah, dang dang dang dang dang for real.
And then she go to say, "Yeah, I don't play them type of games. I understand he trying to go to the ending but that ain't cool. So I just steal I'm like yeah but dang man. So Jo I finally say he he did it like that. She was like, "Yeah, he came. He just made it like he it were cool to just so I'm coming pretty to let you know you know uh I know he in the sale with one of your guy but man look I think he trying to so he can get on down man. So you might want to let your folk know you know what I'm saying that hey I don't think she'll lie to me you know. So I said little coder down there in his head with tune on man listen I JT I felt the same way he felt I said my ears ain't dece like he literally popped his head in there like he ain't see I was in there talking about hey you decided like I'm and she just said he getting on my you know J I'm in there trying to watch the middle of body J I'm talking about look at that you know I'm talking about J I'm bad put too G too ever made. But Jo, I'm talking about he he man, there interference, man. Flag on the plate, J. You know what I'm saying?
And whole time, I'm really feeling awake. I'm like, dang, a rat just got in the middle of my business. You know what I'm saying? So, it's only right that I go ahead and report that. You know what I'm saying? Cuz all this is your team.
I'm tell you, bro. I don't need no rat coming in between the building like that. I tried to go I started to go highlight him, right? But I knew if I gonna go highlight him, the folk were going to be like, you know, that's you know what I'm saying? That's why I said, "Hey, go holl at the folk, man. Let me let me go holl at JT cuz folk might think I'm being funny, man.
Look, man. I'm looking at the computer, man. The computer looking at me, me and the computer looking at each other. But I got I got my left eye in the rear view. I'm looking I'm talking about thick junk. I'm talking about leg just sitting and then look, the way she's sitting, you know what I'm saying? It made the leg look a little more plump than what it was. J, I'm telling you, Robbie locked up for a long time. He talking about you made a decision whole time he trying to tell on man your teeth man but look look I'm tell good look good ain't straight out I didn't want to come and tell you that I said I'm going to go down holl bro right right now it's only right only right and and and look look look he know I was in there so if he say he ain't say that it come me if he say I'm lying I'm in mouth instant Cuz look, it been a little minute, Joy.
It been a little minute, boy. Since I got that kind of plate, you know what I'm saying? I've been on the phone. I said, man, I ain't trying to hear all that. I'm just telling you, J, you know what I'm saying? I feel like, you know what I'm saying? She would have let me get off real quick, man. He coming in there talking about, "Hey, you made your mind up." He trying to man he go holl at you folk. I said there I said I'm I'm going to go down there holl at him right now. He holler man GD on there. I said that was cracking cuz what I was talking about right there J he mob out of the sale my come in the sale. Hey what what uh what uh uh uh and he stuttering. I said, "Oh, he owe Caesar some money." Or he owe one of his cousin, he owe one he owed one of his homeboy some money. He owed somebody some money. He thinking they done came and told him. He said, "What? What?" Uh I said, "Damn." I said, "What's up, S?
What's up? You straight?" No. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm straight. I just seen it looked like he walked out of here like it been an issue or something.
I said, "Man, yeah, yeah, yeah." He was just telling me he he he needed to holl at me later on about one of the guys. He said, "One of the guy?" He said, "Oh, uh, what? What? Why he ain't going to tell you?" I said, "What's up, silly?" I said, "When you you in a situation you need to let Man, look, I ain't even going to lie, J." Uh, so I got u I did I get three I got three cap from his homeboy, you know what I'm saying, about a week ago. But he been telling me, you know what I'm saying, that I said, "Bro, he can't holl at me about something completely different." I said, "That's your problem right there."
I said, "Then when you got a guilty conscience like that, bro, you you sitting here telling on yourself, bro, you know how many times you done did that? You know how many times, have you not paid attention how many times somebody done came to holl at me? You way over in somebody else sale, bro, chilling. You just so happened to see somebody come over and tap on the door cuz you owe somebody some money. You sitting over here way to death if they coming over here telling on you. You coming over here asking me what's up?"
like you ready to ride for the folks seeing if if it's a issue with the folks whole time you selfishly trying to figure out somebody done on you cuz you owe some money cuz you were around right here acting like you junking folk man hold on hold on folk hold on bro I ain't I ain't I ain't it ain't I said what what made you come over here I I ain't saying you wrong but I'm just saying bro I was just trying to come over here and see I said you were trying to see if you need to get in front of a situation because you run around here with skeletons Huh? And you know you owe the opposition and you need to go and pay them folk. I'm going to pay him tonight, bro. I said, "You ain't got no choice now cuz you don't reported it to me, bro. But you my senator though." I said, "I'm your s." I said, "But we the folks." I said, "Let we some I ran that on my guy a couple times, too. I ain't going to lie to you. Look, hey, hey, Sy, leave GD out of there. Me and you having a conversation because listen, I know things about you. You know things about me. And at the end of the day, just like when I had to get thing crossed out, if y'all familiar with the story, he had too much information. The man the man said, "Man, I ain't never say nothing when I was going up there to visit."
Hey, hey, oh, Santa. Hey, what you mean?
You ain't never said nothing though.
Penitentiary rules in effect. So, what you saying right now? you if it came down to it, are you saying I might?
Cuz I can't go down by myself. Now, if you Nino Brown in New Jack City right now, let me know.
If you f to get ready to say now this this way bigger than you need to inform me right now so I know header, I feel you on that. I'm going to play my role and make you feel like, you know, I'm going to go and do whatever it is you asking me for cuz you slick blackmailing me and extorting me.
But I know now I got to go and get you up out the compound. And that's exactly what I did. Exactly what I did. And and and and we ain't had the conversation yet. The issue on the platform, but look, that commercial break real quick. That was actually the only cross out I ever did that hunted me for a while. I felt bad cuz me and Than was in the sale together for about a year and a half, almost two years. You know what I'm saying? And they they were my guy. They were my guy.
Me and Than were tight. And man, hey, listen. When it came down to it and them folk came to my cell and said, "Hey, man. Silly boy." I said, "Hey, do what?
Hey, uh, hey, bro. Look, go see who else uh Than around here. See how many oppositions he owe and they come to Holl me. We on the yard. Than was like, "Uh, man." Hey, bro. I need you to, bro, cuz I ain't never I said you what you what you mean you need me to do something cuz you ain't never what we straight ain't with. Yeah, bro. I'm just saying, bro.
Like it was like, "Bro, I've been scratching your back." You know what I'm saying? You know how many, bro? Then he hit me with the man, you know the guys always saying, "Man, you man, J, you be letting J." And I always say, "Nah, Jot T ain't." But I'm just saying, bro, I've been looking out for you. I said, "Oh, you know what? When I go back in there, bro, I'm going to highlight him. I'm going to see what's up. I'm going to make sure you straight. Give me a little minute." Hey, y'all go see who else they Oh, cuz man, you know I had somebody else pull up. They come back. Yeah. Then Oh. Oh, dang. Look, I tell you what.
Go tell son they come over to the cell, bro. So, what's up? You holl at him, man. I hollered at him, bro. But it was too late cuz uh they went and did their own little personal investigation, bro. They said you owe four, five opposition around here, bro. You getting high, you going up, bro. Still stick still stuff in your butt, bro. Bro, they said, bro, let I'm going just be honest with you, bro. Just uh during camp, bro, the best bet is to go ahead and roll, bro. Cuz uh they going to do it to you, bro. I'm just That's the best I can do, bro. You can't, bro.
I said, man, look, call been made. It's over my head, bro. Just go ahead and check in, bro. I was in the cell and I watched him walk out. I said, "Dang, man. I had to I had to do that to him cuz uh he thought he he he he had potential to tell some things." I said, "Well, it is what it is. It is what it is." So me and Than tell me, "Well, if it ain't what he wanted, bro, what he was over here for." So I tell them what the situation was. Now, this is white boy Cody. So when Than say that, I got him in the choke hole. So now I'm f to use Than as a spy.
Hey, go down there. Look, I tell you what though, bro. Don't even worry about that cuz now that I know this information, I can use it against him.
Page rules and fed. It is what it is. We playing chess. This ain't chles. I don't care how you feel about it. Look, you're good. But look, go down there, man, and ask Cody is he trying to move in another cell cuz bro, I don't want to tell Toner cuz he a little high head. You know what I'm saying? Go down there and tell. He probably going to beat him up. He going to end up in the hole and then Cody been down there in the sale with Tono.
Commercial break me please.
This is a dangerous matter because we already potentially see he trying to get to the annex and tell something. So you don't want to crash out, get him beat up, get a write up, then he go to the hole and I ain't sitting down talking to him, asking him, hey, you know, if you don't tell us something, turn in a knife, turn in a phone, you know who's the cos of the G?
other G's. He might be willing to give some information because you done jacked off this man reclass. His points ain't going down, they going up. So you got to be careful with situation. You got to be careful with situation like this. You got to be a little quicker than that.
You got to be a little quicker than this. So I tell them like look man just go down there and holl at Cody man before I go down there and have to holl at folks and ask him you know what I'm saying if he trying to get moved. I'm like, "Man, go holl at somebody in the ass." White boy Rick tap on him and said, "Pop, hey, Jay." I said, "Man, what's up, white boy man?" Hey, man. I said, "Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on in. Come on. Come on. Come on." He popped it open. Man, I bless this sale, MAN. DON'T TELL MAN. It's something down here, man. Look. So, I smoked the cigarette. I said, "Hold on, hold on, man. My bad, man. Y'all on GD Business right quick. What's up, man?
No disrespect. What's going on, thing?"
He hit him with the love sign, right? I said, "Man, hold on. Just let me finish holling." He said, "Man, well, I'll be right outside the door, Joe, man. Let me I said, "No, you good. You good. You good." So, I tell I'm like, "Look." So, go down there and ask Cody if he trying to get out of the cell. You know what I'm saying? Find somebody he can move in the cell with. Look, insinuate that we may know.
He he he acting like he willing to tell.
White boy Ree said, "Who?" Tell on who, Joe. Tell you, "Which code are you talking about?" I said, "Oh, Cod down there." And it said, "Well, Tono." I said, "Man, tell on who? Who? Who?
Cody?" I said, "Hold on, wait, wait, wait."
Uh Dan said, "All right, bet, bet, bet."
He said, "No, hold on, Fan. Hold wait a minute, y'all. T what I need to do?" Cuz who tell on who? I said, "So look, this really GD business." Y don't do that, J. How much work I put in for the guys and Larry, man. Come on, man. Just the other day, J, I ain't tell you about this, but 10:30 sent me on a mission.
Jay, that's it for for for for GD.
Jay, you're saying that like I'm excluded or I had a JD. J. So I go to get something from the store from from um 10:30, right? I already owe the box.
I owe Larry $10. So I go in there and I needed $3 Yod cuz I'm going to fix me a meal and my Sy was going to smoke with my Sy went and got the the tobacco. I was going to get the meal. We can smoke, we going to eat, right? So when I go in there, he tell me to somebody, you know, he and so I was like, I'll go get it right now. And cuz he didn't want to put no more on my tab, right? So I went, you know, did what I need to do. Listen, man. J, come on, man. I said, well, look, check this out.
Cody done insinuated cuz he f to get ready to go to the annex. He f to How's he going to the annex? He just got a write up six months ago. I said, "Cody write up for what? Where he works at?"
He works up there in the in the in the where they making the belts and the leather and stuff and he was uh they caught him while he had something one of the tools or something. I don't know if the write up got thrown out or anything, but I know for a fact he had right cuz he was worried about that.
I said, "Well, why how he going to annex?" He said, "Exactly. That's why I'm trying." And now you're saying he's trying to give information to who? He's trying to tell on who? The one of the folks. I said I said, "Hold on." My son is sitting there the whole time. I'm knowing he ain't even saying nothing. I tell I could tell. Only thing he concerned about is going to do something so I don't expose he owe this 33 for some tobacco. He he he he in La. He really hoping uh White Boy Rick go handle this business and he don't even have to do it. But he don't know. I'm going to send White Boy Rick with him. So I sitting there and White Boy Rick said, "Damn, man. Uh, so so what happened?" I said, "Well, uh, Sana just came here." He said, "I seen Son come out." I said, "Yeah." I said, "But Sana said he was down."
I don't know. I tell you, I'm going to go holler at Cody right now. I said, "Now listen, I don't want to spook him.
I want him to think we know. I don't want him to know we know. cuz then I don't want to get him in a position where he feel like he's scared and now he drop a kite or he go talk to the AI he tell and they expedite him to the NX because he done told on some people over here that he going to get closed out right you rot you right so so what you want me to do I said you heard what I just said I said they go down there how let him he said well I'm going to go with him I said I was just about to say go on down there with him he said so I said hey do Do not put your hands on that man and do not make that man feel like we know what going on. They walk out of the cell. Boom. I come out right behind him. I'm sitting on the rail.
White boy coded down there working out.
They pull up on cod. They walking with him. I see white boy Rick hit this move right here.
He do this right here. I said, "Hey, let me go down here and holl at folk." I come down the stairs. Don't don't go tap on. Hey folk man, what's up? I pop the door. What's up? What's up? What going on folk? What's up with that? We straight G. I said, yeah, yeah, yeah. I said, man, G be the reason though, folk.
I come here, man. Bless. See, I close the door. Boom. He stand up. I'm looking at him. He look at me. We look at each other. He cross up. He got He like this, man. What's up? What's up, G? I said, hey, look, I don't know what's up with your silly. He said, who? Cody? I said, who your silly is? What? What's up?
What? What Cody got going on for? I said, "Man, look, I'm I don't want to I don't want you to smash off on him. I don't want you to put no heat on the folks." You know what I'm saying? Cuz I'm taking the word of somebody else first and foremost. Ah, now who who who said whatever they said about CO? We need to you know what I'm saying? Who who the source? I said, "See Donnie, he sit down on the B." What' he say? Cuz I said, "Man, what C?" He said, "What c say?" I said, "Man, look."
He said, "He's sitting in this in the office with the counselor."
I said, "Does your sell it expecting to get a reclass and go to the NX?" Yeah, man. I've been telling, man, don't even go over, but I've been telling him, man, if he get over there, man, look, you need to hit this line. Boom. Boom. So, we can, you know what I'm saying? But I told him, man, if you don't go over here, man, I'm going to make sure you straight. He was like, man, I knew he going to go over there. I said, "So, you've been telling him not to go to the NX?" He can, man. Yeah, man. I've been trying to get him to stay over here, bro. But I've been telling him if he go over there, boom, boom. But he keep anytime I tell him Jo, he stay back up.
Anytime I tell him folk, look, go over there, man. Woo! Woo! Woo! Man, look, the commissary, the laundry, I'm telling him, man, my pe man, I get my people to drive up here, drop the bomb off and everything. He talking about, man, I'm trying, I'm going. He talking about did did what he say time man s man know I love you silly man but man I'm just so close to going home man and going for parole man I don't want take no risk I'm telling I said get this money and don't man I'd rather go home so I'm just trying to I said h I said well look check this out see that the counselor said Cody said he tired of being around the smoking.
Who who who said that? Who said that folk? I said, "You want me to go get see Donnie?" Yeah.
I said, "Bro, come come to come to come to come to myself." I said cuz I got white boy Rick and Than holling at Cota right now trying to see if he let it be known maybe he he said I don't even know why he would do that because I also been telling him look I know somebody trying to move up here.
You know what I'm saying? And I've been telling them just in case you do go to the NX, bro, you can go ahead and move out the sales so I can get somebody in here like do me a solid and switch sales with them. You feel what I'm saying? So it don't even make sense if he trying to throw me under the bus cuz I've been telling him, look, I got somebody that'll come up here and cuz you know, come on. He taking charge. He whatever.
You know what I'm saying?
So I'm telling them, let me go ahead and get situated before the admin administration put somebody in the cell.
I've been giving him my opportunity to move out of the cell if he know for sure he going to you know what I'm saying shoot over to the end. So why I said I said I don't know. I said look I'm going to mob out come over to say I'm going to holl at Son. I'm let Son tell you. All right be GD on that.
I'll be over here in a minute. I m out of the cell.
Fan and white boy Rick off to the side looking like they are. Cody ain't nowhere near them. I'm looking around to see Cody. He must be in somebody's saying or he done went across the highway. I said, "Why boy Rick man J?
Come on thing." He walk over. I'm getting ready to go up the step. I stop on the rail of the step. He man Jay he's r man smash him or what? the other day.
I said, "Hold on, hold on, hold on, white boy." I said, "Damn, what he say, man?" So, my like, "Man, I just told him." I was like, "Man, look, uh, we trying to get somebody moved in the sale." Well, bro, I'm glad he said that.
He was like, "But man, uh, we're just trying to make sure it's straight." You know what I'm saying? He was like, "Nah, I ain't trying to move out of the cell."
You know what I'm saying? Cuz I don't want to be in the cell with nobody. You know what I'm saying? And I don't know what's going on. And I ain't trying to be in no predicament, you know, me. And so, White Boy Rick said, I said, uh, White Boy Rick said, and then I told him, man, look, man, you're getting ready to go to annex, man. You don't want to mess nothing up for yourself, do you?
I said, what' you say to a white boy Rick? Man, he's getting ready to go to Annex, man. He's not trying to mess nothing up, is he? And don't tell it was that look in his eye, J. That look in his eye, man. You know, man, let me tell you something. When I was on the street, man, one of my one of my homeboys had told my girl something, right? And and and my girl came and told me. And so I didn't say nothing to him cuz I ain't going to lie. I was like, man, bro, I ain't did that. But bro is the only one know this information. So one day, man, J, we taking him back, right? And we just sitting there and I was like, man, somebody told my girl, man. And I just was like, ain't no way. And JT, he had that ghost look in his eye, J. And I was like, man, J, I beat him to death, J.
about tried to get him in there. Jo, that's all I need. But the only reason I didn't whoop him right there cuz you said he might put some heat on Larry on the guys, man. And that but I'm tell I know that look. I seen it. Jo, man. That boy said whatever C Donnie said, he said. I'm tell he said it, J. And whatever he said, he said. I'm tell you, whatever he said, he's willing to do it, J. I seen it. And if we don't deal with it right now, J, he's going to get one of the guys in trouble. I said, just give me a second. Just give me a second, man. By this time, folk come out of the cell. Tony come out fly. I I said, "But I'm going to holler right now." He like, "All right, y man, but let me know. Let me know, do but look, I'mma wait till you get through, J." I said, "No, what you what you need, man?
Uh, just go ahead and finish what you're doing. Finish what you doing, Jo." So, I go on up to the cell to come in. I I I I tell my I forget I tell my go tell see Donn come to the sale. So Tono tap on the door Joe T I'm he right behind me I said come on in the door still crack he come in man bless he like what's he D I said I just told my silly go get he like I seen you talk to him what they saying I said well white boy Rick think that he did it. He said, "Man, why people like that, J?" I said, "What?

Why would he go in there and do that?"
And Jot, I done been asking him if he want to move, he can move. I said, "I don't know what to tell you." I said, "Man, he probably think even though you saying that, he probably don't feel like you mean it." Like, he might be thinking you saying that to see if he say, "Nah, that ain't what it is, folk. That ain't what it is.
He already done something he ain't got no business doing, man. He done said something he ain't got no business saying, man. I'm tell you, bro. That that probably what it is, bro. I'm f to crash out on him. I said, "Hold on. Just wait." See, Donna tap on the Hey, hey, hey. Uh uh. Hey, hey, hey, f. I said, "Come on, come on in." See, Donna, he the door ain't he blessed as hell. What going on with you, Tono? You straight, folk. I said, Tono said, "Nah, I ain't straight. If everything y'all saying what's going on ain't straight. What's up, man? Look, I just tell I'm down there. He sit on the on on my on my desk like this with the stool right there, man. Look, I'm down there, man.
I'm down there trying to freak the little junk, right? And uh man, you silly man. Let Cody shock me. I ain't going to lie. Shot me.
He peep his head in the door and he say, "Uh, have you decided yet?"
When he said, "Man, uh, I don't really say nothing to the junker and something go wrong. Something go left in some penitentiary stuff go on." Then I was the one in the office. So I wait till she put herself in the predicament, right? So she pretty much tell me like she was like he was like, "Uh, he ain't no he ain't trying to be around no smoke and stuff like that cuz he trying to go to the end cuz you know what I'm saying?
That what the counselor told me." And I said to myself, I'm going to tell J I was going to come holl at you, but you know, I ain't want you to crash out on you, silly. You know what I'm saying? So that that I heard it with my own ears from him. And then she said what she said. I don't think the counselor would lie knowing we doing time in the penetentric. You feel what I'm saying?
Folk, I'm just trying to look out for you. What you got going on? what you got going on that connected to the folk.
I said, "See what I'm saying, bro?" Bro said, "Man, man, I've been feeling dude in man like I just paid off a debt for him two weeks ago. I'm talking about Nation come to the door. Big Billy come downstairs."
You know, Big Billy don't even come downstairs. See, Don is still sitting on the he said, "Big Billy, Big Billy G.
Big Billy came to your cell." He said, "Man, Big Billy come to the sale." Now, hey, he talking about, "Hey, folk." I said, "Big Billy, man, Kane and all." I get up, go to the door for Big Billy F.

You don't mind my brothers. They come in the sale, too. Bless the sale. They come in and Mavel, bro. He seen it. He come down to the tap on the door, open the door, talking about folk, you straight. I said, "Yeah, I'm good." Big Billy turn around, tell Mav, "Yeah, I'm just down here trying to look out for him real quick." Right. So, he closed the door. I was like, "What's up, man? So, you're selling, man."
uh got something from one of my brothers the other day, man. And then I don't know what he's thinking, right? He comes up to my cell asking me for something, too. Like he was going to rob Peter to pay Paul, right? My brother sees him come over here, man. He's begging me. He's not telling me who we owe. Right. So my brother comes in the cell and doesn't say anything and he gets quiet. So, I just kind of read the room, right?
And then I asked him, you know, is it something that you can't say in front of my brother?
And he was like, man, I just don't want nobody in my business, right? So, I told him, uh, my business is my brother's business. And so, from there, my brother was like, what is it that he's asking for?
So we get down to the nitty grid and man the whole time man he's trying to get some mean whatever but but he owe my brother right. So I was coming down here at you to let you know man you probably ain't about to have no salad and JT man I told big Bill man look I'm going to take care of that but I'm and I take care of him myself man I paid it and everything billing then we're going to send him to the cat hub what's funny see I'm just saying the clowns in the man look look I hate in a city like that one time right here about 10 years ago cuz I'm sitting in the cell man look one of the homeboy out the hood come in the cell man talking about hey man your silly ain't straight I'm tell man my silly good right he talking about man your silly can't got something for me he owe me he go over holl some man I'm talking about the exact same scenario You saying right? Uh, Tono said, "Man, I'm going to just go down here and holl at him." He mob I would have whooped him, yo. I'm tell you, I would have whooped. He wouldn't have said nothing else after that. I promise he wouldn't have put another GD in in his mouth ever again. Y I said I feel you on that. I said what you what you wanted to holl at me about, man. So I came up when I first came up here. But yeah, I would have whooped the JT even though I didn't I I don't want you to think JT I would have went down there and did what I was doing because I'm trying to finesse you out of needing this $6. I would have done it on the strength of Larry. I said go ahead and get it, bro. Hold on. I come out of the cell behind him.
I see Tono and Cody down there talking.
I come out of the I come down the steps walking over there.
Tonto say, "Hey, Jot, come here real quick, bro." I walk over here.

Cuz man, I'm I'm C want to go to the NX. I don't want him to go to the N. I respect he going to the NX, you know, even though I want to take care of some business another way.
You know what I'm saying?
I got somebody that's willing to move up here, but my silly, you know what I'm saying? Ain't trying to do no sale change. I look at code and I said, "Bro, you got to do the sale change."
Man, I ain't just trying to be in the sale with no anybody and then jack off, you know what I'm saying? Me going to the annex. I said, "At this point, you going to try to get to the in the annex by any means necessary anyway, ain't you?" He was like, "What you tell?" He was like, "What you what you mean?" Yo D folk see what going on. Folk said, "Yeah, you you trying to get to the NX by any means that they said anyway though, right?
I don't I don't like how that by any means necessary, but that I don't I don't understand." I said, "Look here.
We done been looking out for you, making sure you straight.
We don't need no complications, no nothing. You know what I'm saying? On the strength of you just trying to get to the NX. Look, we keep [ __ ] with you like a far. It's a lot of people trying to get over to the NX. And it's a lot of people who come over here from the NX willing to do something to get back to the NX.
We trying to make sure you ain't willing to do anything so you could just get over to the NX. Folks said, man, bro, cuz that ain't even straight coded, bro.
Bro, you know, bro, we've been breaking bread with you doing all this stuff.
Then, bro, I told you, bro, if you just want to if, bro, if you ain't trying to do what I'm asking you to do, bro, let me go and put somebody in the sale, well, I ain't got to worry about them putting somebody in the sale or getting out the train, bro. Come on, bro. You've been eating off of me, bro. It ain't even straight that you that selfish at the end of the day, bro. I could have been done let you go to the back, bro.
Bro, you know I'm building them came, bro. I took care of that for you. He was like, but I gave it back to you. It ain't It ain't the fact, man. It's the principle, bro, that I done looked out for you, bro. And ain't no telling what you willing to do to get to the end, bro. Man, we right here trying to save you right now, man. Man.
Well, man.
Tono said either, bro. You make the move, bro. It's force of choice, bro.
Like, I mess with you. But at this point, I don't even know if I can trust you, bro, cuz they offering you the option to go to the ending. Come on, Cody, bro. And I ain't even trying to get my folks involved or nothing like this, bro. But look, bro. Come on now.
Come on, man. Don't make me. You know what I'm saying? Cota said, "Man, you right, man. You right, man. All right, man. If I need to move, man. Just I'll sign it, man." And I, man, it is what it is.
Tono said, "Hey, what's up, bro?" He like, "Man, we good." He walk out. Tono said, "Man, your boy, I'm T. I'm going to, man, I'm team, bro. I don't know, bro. I'm It's going to take a lot of him not to say nothing to him tonight." I said, "Look, sometimes, bro, you got to realize, man, you got to pick, man. You got to pick you got to pick your battles, bro. Cuz if he done already, it might not be." He said, "But man, I done gave it dude head." I said, "And that's how it go sometime, bro." I said, "Just look at Yeshua, who we know is Jesus the Christ." 12 disciples, Judas was one of them. He allowed them in the circle. He watched them bless people. He watched them heal people. He watched them feed people. He watched them turn. He watched him feed 5,000 people with two loaves of fish and two pieces of bread. I said, man, he watched him do all these things and then when the 30 pieces of silver offer came up, he deceive he he he betrayed them with a kiss. Sometimes you never know who around you that you done did all of these things for a opportunity present itself for them to put in a in a better position.
They might cross you out for it.
