Day 1 of Spooky Girl’s recovery 🖤 She’s finally getting the help she desperately needed. 🥺🐾

[00:00:00]My husband and I got a call last night from one of our friends looking for help for a cat that super sick, hasn't been well taken care of. From what I know so far, she's about 2 years old. Sounds like she has an upper respiratory infection, a gum infection of some sort.

[00:00:15]And I'm hoping she's not in as bad of shape as what it sounds like. Going in a little bit blind um just cuz I heard from a friend of a friend that this is going on and I said it, I'll go get her.

[00:00:27]Okay, so I've got her. She would not go in the carrier and she's pretty fragile, definitely underweight. She's a bit nervous and shaky and she's super dirty, like oily. She definitely can't clean herself. So, she's pretty chill on my lap. I only live like 10 minutes away from here. So, I'm going to um get her home um get her some antibiotics ASAP.

[00:00:58]I'll get her as clean as I can, but she's probably going to have to be shaved.

[00:01:02]>> She's all matted. Look at this.

[00:01:04]>> It's all It's all mats.

[00:01:07]>> So, she is as clean as I'm going to be able to get her. She's pretty much just mats all down her back side. We had a lot of gunk and like mucus in her legs and tail and stuff. So, I pulled all that out. She's losing a lot of hair.

[00:01:20]I'm going to give her fluids now. Quick poke. Good girl.

[00:01:30]>> It's the next day. I haven't had a chance to check on her yet. I had to rip out of the house so I could go go pick up her antibiotics. She's going to start Clavamox today. Later this afternoon, I'm going to go get her vaccinated and dewormed and make an appointment for uh to get a dental done on her. Can tell in the videos, but her mouth is super swollen. She is gaunt, so it looks more swollen than it actually is. But >> hi, baby. Come. Good morning. You got this. Stand on this. You're good.
