[00:01:05]The Torah calls you creator. The Quran calls you peace. The Gita calls you destroyer. The Dharma calls you truth.

[00:01:15]And the first epistle of John calls you perhaps the most beautiful name of all, love. You are the strange love uniting all things. The love that drew elements together after that big bang. The love that drew life itself from those primordial oceans. The love that drew us all to this exact moment. The love we were born of. The love we exist in. and the love we will one day return to. In my faith, you expressed yourself through a barefoot rabbi who embodied your perfect love. A crucified carpenter who gave only two commandments. Love God and love neighbor. Because there is no love of God without love of neighbor. Help us love not just in word but in action.

[00:02:06]Help us honor not just the name of Jesus but the way of Jesus. Help us free the oppressed, feed the hungry, house the homeless, heal the sick, release the prisoner, welcome the stranger, forgive the enemy, and above all, protect your creation.

[00:02:22]The word of God is love. Let us not be hearers of your word, but doers of your word in our families, in our communities, and in this chamber. Not just with prayers, but with policies.

[00:02:34]Not just personal love, but political love. Because democracy is not just a constitution. Democracy is a covenant.

[00:02:44]Holy mystery, open our minds, open our hearts, open our hands, so that we may build a new world in the shell of the old. A world that is more just, more free, more whole, and more in love with you. In all your names, we pray. Amen.

[00:03:01]>> The world is changing fast. There is a growing push for unity in faith, a merging of beliefs, a call to lay aside biblical doctrine in the name of peace.

[00:03:12]At first glance, it sounds good. Unity, harmony, and no more division. But the Bible warns that this kind of unity when it is built apart from truth is not from God. It's a setup, the rise of a global religious system. In Revelation 17, we see a system described as Babylon the Great, a symbolic global influence that stretches across peoples, nations, and languages. This movement is worldwide, and it's not rooted in truth. It's a corrupt, seductive system that draws the world in. In Revelation 13, something dramatic has happened. The world is no longer just spiritually confused. It is spiritually unified. As we read in Revelation 13:8, all who dwell on the earth will worship him whose names have not been written in the book of life of the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. That him is the beast, the antichrist. What started as tolerance ends in total allegiance. Not many religions, not diverse beliefs, one system, one focus, and one object of worship. a man who demands to be God.

[00:04:30]The Apostle Paul gives even more clarity as we read in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 and4.

[00:04:38]Let no one deceive you by any means. For that day will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of predition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. A global system that began with unity and inclusion ultimately demands submission and worship not to God but to a man.

[00:05:10]Here's the danger. The end times religious system won't look evil at first. It will look right. It will talk about peace, cooperation, spiritual unity, and ending division. But it will reject one thing, the exclusive truth of Jesus Christ. That's the line it cannot tolerate. In the end times, the world won't be divided by denominations, religions, or traditions. It will be divided by one question. Do you worship the true Christ or a false substitute?

[00:05:50]The stage is being set. The language is already here. The desire for global unity is growing stronger by the day.

[00:06:00]But scripture has already told us where it leads. As we read in Matthew 7:13, "Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life and there are few who find it. Many will be on the wide path to destruction.

[00:06:28]Few will be on the narrow path which leads to life. When the system rises and the pressure comes, the real church will be revealed not by words, not by labels, but by who refuses to bow. Truth is not something you negotiate. It's something you stand on. Even if you stand alone. 1 Corinthians 16:13. Watch. Stand fast in the faith. Be brave. Be strong. Box office numbers for Supergirl look bleak after lead star Millie Alco sparked backlash for mocking Christian dads.

[00:07:10]Recently, there has been a tremendous increase in mockers and scoffers.

[00:07:14]They're attacking Christianity and the Bible in general. On two occasions, the Bible warns that the closer the coming of the Lord Jesus, the greater the mockers and scoffers will become. Second Peter 3:3 and4. Knowing this first, the scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, "Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation." Jude 11:17 and 18. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.

[00:07:48]How they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.

[00:07:53]What is so significant in both second Peter 3 and Jude is the prophets and apostles warned about mockers and scoffers. Apparently, the mockers and scoffers are a sure indicator we are living in the last days.

[00:08:05]>> There's a new Supergirl coming to the screen. Its box office projections aren't looking so super. Uh opening weekend's expected to fetch 47 to65 million. The production cost an estimated $175 million. So they'd have to clear $500 million to make this break even where after you split with the local theaters. Supergirl's leading lady Millie Alcock is complaining about online criticism. She says it's coming from anonymous accounts and people whose bios read quote dad of four Christian.

Jesus said as a sign of his coming and the end of the age there would be an increase in deception, false Christ who will deceive many, wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, Christian persecution, apostasy, false prophets and lawlessness causing the love of many to grow cold.

[00:09:38]Jesus said all of these signs would come like birth pains. Jesus was likening last days events to a woman in labor. As the labor progresses, the pains increase in both frequency and intensity until the baby finally comes. As we get closer to Jesus' return, all the signs he gave us as a sign of his coming and the end of the age will become more frequent and more intense. All of these signs are manifesting around the world in our time.

[00:10:05]Dozens of missiles and drones hit apartment blocks in the capital and other major cities overnight. At least 18 people were killed and more than 100 injured >> there. Multiple explosions, barges of explosions were heard, seen, and felt last night over Kev and much of the east of the country. Ukraine's air force said that Russia attacked with 73 missiles and 656 drones. Local media report that more than 30 of those missiles got through. This is Russia's third heaviest assault in just under a month. And authorities in the Capitol Kev warn residents to take cover. You can see them. There are people sheltering in the subway system as those strikes hit.

[00:10:42]President Zalinsky confirmed that dozens of residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were also damaged and many people are feared trapped beneath all of that rubble and the death toll has been continuing to rise over the past few hours.

[00:11:12]>> Just on Monday evening, Vladimir Zalinski had warned Ukrainians that a large-scale attack was likely coming.

[00:11:19]>> Our intelligence services warnings about massive Russian strikes remain in force.

[00:11:24]A large-scale strike may happen. They have prepared it. Our defenders of the sky are on standby 24/7 as much as possible with the supplies we have. In May, Russia shot 211 ballistic missiles at Ukraine, including an archnic missile, as well as 8,150 long-d distanceance drones, a 24% increase from April. Ukrainian authorities say they've intercepted over 90% of these attacks and for their part continue to hit inside Russia. Ukraine has developed pioneering anti- drone techniques, but Keev says that their stocks of anti-missile systems are running low.

[00:12:09]In the last days, the prophet Zachchariah tells us Israel will be the focal point of world conflict. And he gives a dire warning to the nations who would dare come against Jerusalem.

[00:12:18]Zechariah 12:2 and3 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples. All who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. This prophecy is unfolding right before our very eyes.

[00:12:41]>> Iran is leveraging the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah to pressure peace talks with the US. President Trump says he personally stepped in to secure a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.

[00:12:55]>> Just hours after a series of phone calls and social media posts by the president, Hezbollah's attacks on Israel continued.

[00:13:02]>> A flurry of highstakes diplomacy erupted after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu drew a red line over Hezbollah's ongoing attacks on towns in northern Israel.

[00:13:12]>> I have instructed the IDF to strike terrorist targets in Beirut. There will not be a situation in which Hezbollah attacks our cities and our citizens and its terrorist headquarters in Beirut remain out of bounds. That declaration triggered a threat by Iran to walk away from negotiations with the US over Israel's war with Hezbollah. At that point, President Trump intervened. In a truth social post, Trump said he spoke directly with Netanyahu. Trump wrote, "He turned his troops around. Thank you, BB." Trump added, "I also had a conversation with representatives of the leaders of Hezbollah and they agreed to stop shooting at Israel." The announcement came as Axios reported that Trump sharply criticized Netanyahu during a phone call, warning that further military action would derail efforts to reach a deal with Iran. That message was echoed in Thyron. We emphasized and continue to emphasize that the ceasefire in Lebanon is an integral part of any ceasefire and any final agreement to end the war. Iran has already suspended indirect message exchanges with the United States and is demanding the immediate cessation of Israeli military operations in Gaza and Lebanon. Yet despite the diplomatic push, attacks last night continued as the Israel Defense Forces reported intercepting two Hezbollah rockets launched towards the city of Spad in northern Israel and a Hezbollah drone struck a military position in the western Galilee. No injuries were reported. From his side, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated, "I spoke this evening with President Trump and told him that if Hezbollah does not stop attacking our cities and civilians, Israel will strike terrorist targets in Beirut." This position remains unchanged. Retired General Jack Keane told Fox News, "The scale of the violations gives Israel every reason to respond. The Iranians have fired 2,400 or so missiles and drones into northern Israel in that short span of time. We actually have justification right now to go back into military operations. The president is certainly full aware of that.

[00:15:25]>> For now, President Trump is working to preserve both the fragile ceasefire and a possible deal with Iran. Yet, the future of any deal remains on shaky ground. The Bible reveals three major prophecies that appear poised for imminent fulfillment. Isaiah 17, in which Damascus, Syria will be destroyed in a single night. Jeremiah 49, the prophecy of Ilam, which could infer an attack upon Iran's nuclear program.

[00:15:56]Ezekiel 38 and39, known as the war of Gog and Magog. In this prophecy, a coalition of nations led by Russia, Iran, and Turkey will attack Israel in the last days in order to take their wealth.

[00:16:15]>> The Ebola outbreak in central Africa that threatens to become a catastrophe.

[00:16:20]Doctors on the front lines say they should have learned about this much earlier after reports the virus began spreading months ago. In the meantime, locals are protesting US plans to treat affected Americans in Kenya, not in the United States of America.

[00:16:36]>> This is what health workers have been doing every day here in Bunya, the epicenter of this Ebola crisis.

[00:16:43]Now, at least 321 people have tested positive and at least four dozen have died. The International Rescue Committee tells CBS News the current outbreak may have been spreading undetected as early as January.

[00:16:57]But there is hope Ebola can be beat again as these frontline nurses did. Now declared Ebola free after they contracted the disease while treating patients. Coming out of this illness alive is an indescribable joy, said this medic.

[00:17:13]>> We spoke to Dr. Abdu Seabushe, a frontline medic in the Congo. When do you think this could potentially finally get under control? We believe it can go beyond 6 months before this outbreak could be put under control.

[00:17:27]>> Would you say that the outbreak is surging faster than the aid and assistance surging in?

[00:17:33]>> I think the outbreak is outpacing the current response and there are a lot of adjustments that are being made to ensure that we catch up to stop it from spreading further out into the world.

[00:17:46]The US attempting to halt it in Africa and at a quarantine facility in Kenya.

[00:17:51]Two people were killed on Monday in protests against the Trump administration's attempts, a facility only for Americans.

[00:18:04]Jesus warned that one of the defining marks of the end times would be a global breakdown of moral restraint. As we read in Matthew 24:12, "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold."

[00:18:18]>> This tight-knit group gathering here at the recovery meeting center in southeast Portland just a few miles from where tragedy still shakes a small community.

[00:18:27]>> I've known Jenna like a little over 13 years. Um, friends in recovery.

[00:18:32]>> Shannon Voyette and her friends are all here for Jenna Overson. She is among three people shot and killed Sunday afternoon.

[00:18:40]>> I was just praying and hoping it wasn't true.

[00:18:43]>> Police say this all started just before 400 p.m. after a domestic violence call came through 911. A chaotic scene played out. Neighbors say they began hearing gunshots starting at one home off of Evans Street, then again at an apartment complex across the street before the suspect went back to the original location. Multiple police units responded to the scene, surrounding that home now riddled with bullet holes.

[00:19:09]That's when Sandy police say their officers were shot at after an exchange of fire and an hourslong standoff and shelter in place. The suspect behind the gun, 38-year-old Brian Andrew Moore, was taken into custody. He faced a judge Monday afternoon. Moore is facing a slew of charges from attempted murder for the shooting of Sandy Police Department Sergeant Garrett Thornton, as well as murder charges in the deaths of Jenna, her mother Mary, and 16-year-old Coin Mccclure. The teenage boy remembered for heroically giving his life to save two children.

[00:19:43]>> He stood in front of the boys to protect the boys is what we heard. Um, basically he took the shot for those boys. And um, many grown men wouldn't do that. The Bible tells us in the last days that people would lack sympathetic understanding, that people would be unfeilling and pitiles toward their own family, as we read in 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

[00:20:03]This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. from such turn away. Without natural affection is the Greek word aisto which means without affection for family, parents or children, thus hard-hearted towards kindred. This is exactly what we are seeing in our world today.

[00:20:49]>> A gunman is dead in eastern Iowa after police say he shot and killed six people before taking his own life. This unfolded at several locations in Musketine, not far from the Quad Cities.

[00:21:00]Police say they first received reports of a shooting at one location on Monday and that's where officers found four people dead. Another man was later found dead inside a second home and a sixth victim was found inside a business.

[00:21:14]Investigators say the gunman, Ryan McFarland, shot himself after officers confronted him.

[00:21:19]>> Today, I simply do not have the words.

[00:21:21]This act of evil and what it has done to our community. Please understand that during these trying times, our community is mourning the family and the friends of the McFarland family, the Whitlo family, and the Harris families.

[00:21:38]>> Police are continuing their investigation, but early reports indicate the victims may be members of McFarland's family.

[00:21:45]>> We are witnessing a rapid rejection of biblical values. This erosion of God's standards leads directly to hearts growing colder and colder. The love of many growing cold looks like indifference to suffering, hatred replacing compassion, and people becoming desensitized to evil. We see it on the streets, in families, in politics, and in the digital world.

[00:22:11]People are angrier, more isolated, and less merciful than ever before. Jesus was describing the moral climate of the end times where sin multiplies so quickly and so openly that the human heart grows cold.

[00:22:28]>> One day Jesus is coming.

[00:22:32]You may be at church.

[00:22:36]You may be at work.

[00:22:40]You may be asleep.

[00:22:43]God grant that you will be ready when he makes his personal appearance.

[00:22:51]My God, what if his appearance occurs on a Sunday morning? My prophetic word to you this MORNING IS GET READY. Get ready.

[00:23:27]The signs of Jesus soon return are so strong now. And the evidence is so clear that any person willing to accept the truth can see that the end of the world as we know it is near. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

[00:23:45]For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But God demonstrates his own love toward us. And that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. For the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. These are the ABCs of salvation.

[00:24:09]A. Admit that you're a sinner. B.

[00:24:12]Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and God raised him from the dead. C. Call upon the name of the Lord, and you will be saved. Jesus paid the price for mankind's sin. He has provided a way to spend eternity with him and the father.

[00:24:29]All you have to do is believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved. God has already done all the work. All you must do is receive in faith the salvation God offers. Fully trust in Jesus alone as the payment for your sins. Believe in him and you will not perish. God is offering you salvation as a gift. All you have to do is accept it.

[00:24:51]Jesus is the only way of salvation. That being said, we must repent of our sins.

[00:24:57]While repentance is not a work that earns salvation, repentance unto salvation does result in works. It is impossible to truly and fully change your mind without that causing a change in action. In the Bible, repentance results in a change in behavior.
