So, like [clears throat] most businesses, we have an email subscription service where we send clients, past clients, CEOs of companies, and that sort of a thing. We send them updated emails on product service, deals we close, that sort of a thing.
And once in a while, we send an email to kind of shake things up, see if they're paying attention. And the response from most people is actually pretty good. Uh our emails are a little tongue-in-cheek.
Uh sometimes they can be considered abrupt, but uh they're by no means offensive.
And so, it really shows us who uh is having a good day and who's having a bad day based on the response to those emails. A lot of the times we get really good feedback, great email, didn't know that, very informative, thanks for keeping us in the loop. And then you'll get the odd person who's just really angry. They're angry with life, they're angry with everything. And they chose to take it out on me.
And why anybody would choose to take it out on me? What did I do to you? I'm a lovable guy, aren't I? At least I like to think I'm a lovable guy, but apparently to some people, I am just the worst human being on the planet because I interrupted their day with an email that was a little bit different than what they normally receive.
So, I feel bad for those people only because they're having a horrible day, probably a really bad day. And we can never judge people based on the day they have because we don't live their life.
But, at the same time, there's no need to lash out at people. If you don't want to receive emails anymore, if you don't like the content, then just click unsubscribe. It's a little handy little button. There's like five different locations on an email where you can actually unsubscribe. It's not that difficult. Um and in our emails, we actually post huge arrows. We want you to unsubscribe if you're not happy. So, if you want us to go away, then just say so and you can go away. Um but don't scream at people because you're having a day. That's not very nice.
