[00:00:00]As a neurologist, these are things I would never ever do because I've seen terrible things. Number one is swimming in fresh water or poorly chlorinated pools of water. There's actually an amoeba called Naegleria fowleri. It's rare, but it can This amoeba can climb up your nose, lead to a devastating fatal brain infection. And that's why you'll never see me in fresh water. No thanks. Another thing is I would never eat pork. I already don't eat pork for religious reasons, but there's actually a tapeworm called Taenia solium, which can happen from eating undercooked pork which is contaminated with it and their food handling. And this tapeworm can go in your brain and cause neurocysticercosis and basically forms rings in your brain and it's the most common cause of acquired seizures in the world. So, no thanks. Next, I will never dive in water unless I know how deep it is. Traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury and patients are left paralyzed. So, I will not be diving in headfirst in any pools of water unless I know exactly how deep it is.

[00:01:01]And finally, I would never let a facial infection, dental infection, or sinus infection go untreated because the face and teeth and all of these areas very connected to the brain and it can spread and extend and cause fatal brain infections or meningitis.
