[00:00:00]Is there any benefit from taking telmisartan as a preventative measure for blood pressure? I mean, yeah, of course there is benefits. And the thing you got to keep in mind with telmisartan, it's an angiotensin blocker, ARB. It takes a while for this to build up. So, if you need it, stay on it. It's not something that you cycle on and off of unless you become hypotensive. I have had that issue when I get super lean where my blood pressure will actually get too low and I have to come off of it. But, otherwise, most bros are walking around with high blood pressure, especially if you're running PEDs. If you [music] get over 240, 250, you're probably going to have high blood pressure. Most guys that size do. And also, one of the big concerns that we have with long-term steroid abuse is kidney damage. Telmisartan is renal protective. It dilates the blood vessels in the kidney and the result is lowered mechanical stress and less long-term damage. The one downside you do have to watch with ARBs is sometimes people [music] can get hyperkalemic if they're eating too much potassium, which is part of the way that it lowers blood pressure. So, every once in a while you want to get your blood work done and see where your potassium's at.
