This video packages the enforcement of social boundaries as "karma" to satisfy a public craving for immediate, performative justice. It effectively demonstrates the legal consequences of entitlement while reducing complex behavioral issues to a consumable spectacle.

Teens Meet Karma After Attacking Lifeguards
Added:Not even getting OUR STORY BEFORE Y'ALL ARE READY. IT DOESN'T MATTER. WHAT I >> TALK TO ME, [ __ ] >> SIT DOWN.

>> ALL RIGHT, EVERYBODY, welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from Midwest Safety. Got a lot of views.
Uh so, you might have already seen it.
But, I haven't seen it. Teens meet karma after attacking lifeguards. Like I said, I haven't seen it. Let's go.
>> An officer's called to a beach in Ohio after some teens reportedly exposed themselves to the lifeguards. The officer finds the suspects arguing with the lifeguards and throwing a shoe at one of them.
>> Hi. Why'd you throw that at him?
>> Because she's provoking us.
She's provoking all of us.
>> Okay. Go and turn around for me.
>> For what?
>> Put your hands behind your Hello.
Oh.
>> Oh my god.
>> 38 She just pushed that kid.
>> Put your hands behind your back.
>> Why you arresting her?
>> Why you arresting her?
>> I want a taser point. Put your hands behind YOUR BACK NOW.
>> WHY YOU ARRESTING HER?
>> MOVE.
>> You move.
>> Get out of the way, dude.
>> Why Why she getting arrested? Why she getting arrested?
Why she getting arrested?
>> STOP.
>> STOP.
>> STOP.
>> STOP.
>> STOP.
>> THIS SITUATION SUCKS BECAUSE YOU GOT ALL THOSE other people that they're they're already kind of jumping in. Then he's got to deal with her and and them and what A MESS.
>> STOP.
>> STOP.
>> 38 SEND ME UNITS NOW.
>> 38 send me units now.
>> Bro, I have asthma, BRO. CAN YOU GET THE cuffs off of me? Do I >> Stop resisting, okay?
Stop. Now, stop sitting up.
>> Stop. Stop touching >> Sit in this chair right >> Stop touching her like that.
>> She assaulted the lifeguard, okay?
It doesn't [ __ ] matter, okay?
>> It don't matter. We're still shutting up. For what?
>> What's your social? What's your social?
What's your social?
>> BRO, SHE LITERALLY UP HERE provoking us and you're arresting me.
>> What's your social? I saw you assault her, okay? threw a shoe.
It doesn't matter.
>> Throwing a shoe at somebody is assault, whether you like it or not. That's an assault.
>> It didn't hit her.
>> It hit him.
>> It didn't hit her.
>> Step back or you're going to jail, too.
>> How was it assault? She didn't touch her.
>> What is your social?
No, I No, it's nothing to do with race, okay? Step back. What's your social?
What's your social?
>> I'm trying to be nice.
>> Okay, I get that, but what's your social?
>> What do you need my social for?
>> To ID you. What's your social?
>> If you don't give me your social, they can take you to jail.
>> They can't take me to jail for no reason.
>> Listen, [laughter] if you don't give me your social, you got to sit in jail for like three >> Well, she's been to jail before, she knows.
>> What's your social?
>> It's Father's >> I mean, this lady coming over talking some common sense to this lady to this girl.
Oh, it's Father's Day, huh?
So, you got to give your identification or you're going to go to jail until and we're going to ID you there.
While she is in cuffs, she's probably arrested because she she resisted.
But, I mean, there's still a possibility that they could take the cuffs off and once they iron it out, but I thought he did the right thing. You know, how I'm a big supporter of get there, put some cuffs on people. Had he not, the situation would have gone chaotic. It was chaotic enough as it was and would have been much more chaotic had he not.
>> You want to go home and enjoy your family, don't you? I got the same attitude. I'm going to give them a bottom, too. But, at the same time, when they here to protect you, let them protect you.
>> They're not trying to protect me, they're arresting me because Because >> What's your social?
>> Right here and this dude was provoking a a a >> You step back.
You, too, step back.
Step back.
Step back. It's not that hard or I'm taking you both for obstruction. Step back. Step back. Step back. Step back.
Get it back.
Get back. Okay, go and turn around.
There we go. That's it. Keep it going.
You, too, with your hoodie with your You're at the dadgum beach and you got a a beanie on. Come on. It's the middle of whatever it obviously is warm.
>> Sit it down.
>> You guys doing a good job. Ma'am.
Step back.
>> Okay.
>> Now you're going to jail for resisting.
Stop.
>> Sit down. Sit down.
>> I think he got out and his camera fell off. He had to pick it back up and put it back on.
>> Show me around the 3-in stove.
>> There it is, HE'S BY THE LIFEGUARD.
>> WHAT'S UP?
>> STEP BACK.
>> ALL THE WAY BACK.
>> GET back up.
>> Put him in cuffs, too.
Like this is where you just show up and you put him in cuffs, too.
I carried I think two to three sets of cuffs.
So even if the first guy wanted to put this kid in cuffs, he might have been out of handcuffs.
>> Back up. Back up.
>> Step back, bro.
>> That's That's not about saying sorry.
Back up.
>> That's right. It's not about saying sorry.
>> He's about to go for obstruction.
>> Back up.
>> We're not going to ask you again. We're not We're not going to ask you again.
Go.
>> Hey.
>> Stop.
>> Do not touch my cousin, bro.
>> So >> She won't ID herself, so well, she'll get ID'd at the county. What did she would do?
>> Obstruction and resisting? She'll go to jail, too.
>> This poor lifeguard, you know, he's just sitting there. He probably makes I don't know, 15, 20 bucks an hour at the most.
Just trying to come out and make sure nobody drowns and make sure people follow the rules and he's got to deal with people getting all up in his business, throwing shoes at him, trying to pick fights with them.
>> I didn't easy >> Mouthy girls.
>> This other passerby just walked by.
She's cool. Just step back, man. Thank you.
>> Y'all not even getting OUR STORY BEFORE Y'ALL ARREST US.
>> IT DOESN'T MATTER. What I said >> TALK TO ME.
>> SIT DOWN.
>> NO, DUMBASS. NO, STOP. NO, I DON'T CARE.
[screaming] I DON'T CARE. OH, MY GOD.
SORRY, DON'T CARE.
>> NO, NO, NO, NO, NO. Y'ALL NOT EVEN LISTENING TO US.
>> WELL, WE CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT RIGHT NOW.
>> I DON'T CARE.
>> WHAT IS YOUR [laughter] NAME?
>> YOUR CAR RIGHT HERE? YEAH. Let's go.
>> Yeah, just take her. Get out. I thought you said YOU DIDN'T CARE.
ALL RIGHT, GOOD. HAHA.
>> GET TO BED. Get to bed.
>> No, stop him right now.
>> My man.
>> Bro.
>> Are you kicking me?
>> You talking to me?
>> Spit in my face.
Ooh.
>> So, that's assault.
Spitting in the face is assault. So, THAT'S A FELONY.
>> [screaming] >> RECORD THIS.
>> SIT IN THE CHAIR.
>> CARLOS, get Carlos. You want to follow my orders?
>> Sit in the chair.
>> BRO, THE COPS is hurting me, dude.
>> ARE YOU GOING TO STOP SPITTING IN MY FACE?
>> YEAH, BRO.
YOU DON'T >> Back up.
>> Get the back.
>> Back up.
>> I'm telling you >> Back.
>> Back up.
>> If he interferes one more time, he's going to cuffs, too.
>> Hey, big dog.
>> I didn't touch no one.
>> Put him in cuffs.
>> On the beach. Y'all hurting me, dude.
>> You kicked me and SPIT IN MY FACE.
>> NOT.
>> CALLED him big dog.
>> You did.
You kicked me and spit in MY FACE.
YOU SPIT RIGHT IN MY FACE.
>> Y'ALL NOT LISTENING TO OUR SIDE OF THE STORY, THOUGH. Y'ALL STRAIGHT arresting us. Like, that's not how police [ __ ] GO, BRO.
>> GET IN.
>> DON'T YOU TOUCH ME AGAIN.
>> NO.
>> BOOM.
>> SOCIAL.
>> I don't know my social.
>> What's your name?
Hey, curl down, too.
>> So, you're failing to identify yourself?
>> Okay.
>> Just stay put. Do not get off that chair, okay?
>> It's okay.
>> All right, I'll get you sorted in a minute when I get more units here, okay?
>> Go back on the beach.
>> You're not staying here and messing with people.
>> I'm not messing with nobody.
>> Okay.
>> I'm supposed to watch. I'm supposed to take care of them. What do you >> All right, then go sit down.
>> Job failed. You're supposed to take care of them. You did not do a good job. I mean, them two girls were a handful anyway, so he was it tasked with an impossible job, but um either way, he failed.
>> Do not go Do not go near that car. Do you understand me?
>> No, he doesn't understand. He will go ne- He will go to that car. I'mma put money on it. If I had Boom. He's going to go to that car.
>> responsible for >> Okay. Do not go by that car. Do not go by >> Make him go back with you.
>> This guy comes even near that car, go with his handcuffs.
>> Spit on him.
>> In his face.
>> Put her on your hand.
>> I did not do that to you.
>> When you were resisting, yes, you did.
>> Snatch her up, too.
>> Resisting you.
>> Come on.
>> Boom. She going to jail, too.
>> Did you give it to him?
How old are you?
>> He's not bad.
>> No, how old are you? Can you tell me how old you are, please?
>> I've explained this before, okay? The reason why we grab onto their arm and hold onto them.
One, they could potentially run away, even though they're in handcuffs.
Number two, if they fall, they can't stop themselves. Their hands are behind their back. And they fall forward or backwards, they could hit their head, hit their face. They're going to sue us.
And somebody's going to say, "Well, why weren't you holding onto them?" So, whether you like it or not, if you ever get arrested, please don't. Um when you see these videos, the reason we're holding on is control of them for their safety and for ours.
Folks, do you know some of those companies out there that produce soap and moisturizers and all that other stuff. And they're great, but then they get bought up by these mega corporations, they get hijacked and they lose their identity. That's why I love the Van Man company. Van Man has been doing this for years. They've been using tallow, beef tallow for years. Grass-fed tallow as a moisturizer. Honestly, one of the best products that I love from them is this tallow and honey balm. It's the bomb, pun intended. It is awesome.
Now, the tallow you're the fatty acids in the tallow, your skin recognize that as a natural moisturizer. Your skin feels better and because there's no garbage in it, filler garbage, this little thing, this goes a long way. I've had this for a while, use it all the time, and it is great. It's going to replace a lot of the lotion you have, the night cream, the wrinkle cream, all that other stuff. You're going to be able to replace it with something like the tallow and honey balm. Also, if you like their miracle tooth powder, they've got uh lip balms, they've got pearl eye cream, they got a whole slew of things that you can choose from. So, make sure you go to vanman.shop/lamb and uh put in the code word lamb and you're going to get 15% off your first order. Now, let's get back to our video.
>> Oh, wait a minute. You're going to have to tell me who you are.
>> Sorry about that, guys. I'm going to step in the shade. Is that cool?
>> Tell me exactly what happened. So, when I rolled up, I saw her throw the shoe at you.
>> So, I'm the supervisor on this beach, in charge of all the lifeguards.
>> And I was down at Euclid Beach telling them swimmers to get out of the water and then I came back, Victoria told me that that group of three people they were right in front of that second chair right there and she came over and she >> The guy was like a lot of us were sitting there. He had his head kind of looking down and then he was facing towards me, opened his pants and took a picture.
>> Oh, that's a problem. So, old boy is going in cuffs too now.
>> Of his penis.
>> Of his penis.
>> Yeah.
>> Hey, I'm going to put her in there.
>> Yeah, call them.
>> You can take a seat, please.
What's your name?
What is your name?
>> I'm not telling you all because I just did that for no reason.
>> Okay, then you're you're going to go to jail.
>> Here, we're timing and I'm going to sue you all. I'm going to sue them kids.
>> You ain't suing nobody.
>> That's what y'all don't get. They doing that cuz they white, they >> What?
>> Has nothing to do with race.
>> Okay, what is your name?
>> I'm not telling you.
>> You have to give us your name.
>> telling you.
>> Okay. This one.
>> Do you know her mom like her mom or her parents or >> Hey, no. Fox, Fox down there.
>> I was going to try to get it her name.
>> I got don't. Don't worry about him.
>> You telling her to go down. I'm responsible for them. Y'all not listening to >> He is going She's going down there to talk to the lifeguard.
>> Okay, did he show you his penis at all?
>> No, all he did was open his pants and do that and then >> Okay.
>> he kept trying to circling around. So, I thought I just told him and then I came back here.
>> I went up and I approached them and I just said one of my lifeguards just approached me and said you just made her extremely uncomfortable. Can I just ask you guys to leave the beach? Like at that point they denied it.
>> So, the guy he had a I think it I was >> The guy with the shirt on, correct?
Okay, I got a good idea who he is then.
>> That's my cousin.
>> Okay, what's her name?
How old are you? How old are you?
How old are they?
>> They both of them 18.
>> Okay, what are their names?
>> Why? Why do you Why do you need >> Cuz they're going to jail.
>> Why?
>> Listen, they're in handcuffs. You see that, right? So, what is their names?
>> What I'm saying why are you all arresting me?
>> you're not listening to me.
>> You're not listening to >> I'm I'm trying to get their names and I'll listen >> people is going to jail.
>> And I'm trying to get their names and I'll listen to your story.
>> Y'all fighting, right?
>> Nobody was fighting.
>> Can you tell me their names? I'll gladly listen to your story all day long. Tell me their names.
>> No, you're not listening. You don't >> Oh, cops.
That's That's okay with me.
>> Uh his girlfriend was speaking up for him. She was saying like he wouldn't do that like I'm his girlfriend. He's also too young. And so, I just assumed it was like a misunderstanding. I said if listen, if you guys just Can I just ask that you don't approach my lifeguards again and um that'll be fine. Just I'm going to keep an eye out and you guys don't approach >> Very fair. The The manager listened.
They gave their side of the story, said, "Okay, just don't approach my lifeguards again."
>> And then at that point they said, "No."
Like they wanted an issue and they were asking to see her and at that point she was in the shack cuz they just wanted to confront her. And so I said, "No, please don't." And I came back and they followed me and I said, "If you guys like escalate this whatsoever, I'm going to need to I'm going to be forced to call the non-emergency number." And then from there I called my supervisor and I said, "There's three people sitting outside the shack. They're refusing to leave and they're making my lifeguard feel uncomfortable." She said, "Call non-emergency if they don't leave." So I went out and I gave them another warning. I said, "Guys, like just go back to your stuff or I'm going to be forced to call non-emergency." And from that point I called you guys.
>> When you showed up, that was the first time they ever tried to escalate anything.
>> Okay. Are you okay?
You don't need You don't need Does anybody need EMS? Anything?
I'm going to need a statement from you and you, okay? When he took the picture of his penis and stuff like that, okay?
>> The first one over here in the chair spit in my face and kicked me and stuff.
>> Okay. So assault on a PO and then uh >> 100%. You all right?
>> Yeah. We all tried to cuff her, she tried to switch on me and scraped your knuckles?
>> Yeah, that's fine.
>> Yeah, I please have your name. I'm going to ask you one more time. There's no point for you to go to jail for overnight getting another charge or whatever happened. I don't know what happened there, okay? So listen to me.
>> I Jeremiah.
>> Are you How are you guys related, you and the dude?
>> Um this is my cousin.
>> Okay.
>> That's his girlfriend. That's my cousin, that's my brother and that's my son.
>> So he's the one who took the picture of his junk?
>> Oh.
>> He didn't take it off of his phone.
>> I I have no clue about that part.
>> Can I look through his phone? I looked through it.
>> How long you trying to get his stuff?
>> I looked through his phone. Can you look through it so you can see?
>> Just give me one [snorts] second, okay?
Yo, what is your name? I know you hear me. What's your name?
What is your name? Are you calling a parent or something?
>> No.
>> What is your name?
>> Wallace.
>> Because you're all involved in this.
>> What am I doing?
>> We got the call about you, okay?
>> me doing what?
>> What is your name?
>> I didn't do nothing.
>> You weren't leaving.
>> His action About what? I didn't what I didn't do nothing.
>> Leaving when employees ask you to leave >> This your little >> to leave. We were trying to talk to the lady cuz she said I did some weird stuff and I was trying to talk to her.
>> Okay. Can you please give me your name?
>> Bro, they trying to arrest her for assault. Auntie, she didn't she didn't hit nobody though.
>> Get him off the phone.
>> Are you going to go ahead >> You got an investigation to do. Get off the phone.
>> Because you were involved in this whole altercation.
>> Give me your name.
>> They trying to arrest me now.
>> Need you to write it down.
>> They say they they say they trying to arrest me now too.
>> Is it Deshawn?
>> Bro, I don't know his name.
>> focus? I will let you talk on the phone.
Just focus for 1 second. Please tell her how to spell your name.
>> Talk to her.
>> Hold on to your >> Auntie, he just came down here. He didn't even tell us what we >> This the end of story they're telling to their auntie or to whoever um is a bunch of BS. They're pretending like they didn't do anything, that they weren't the catalyst for this.
>> He He just arrested them on spot.
Auntie, look, man.
They was arguing with some white >> Anybody with common sense would know they didn't just show up, pick these folks off the beach, and decide, "Okay, we're going to arrest them."
There's a reason. Somebody had to call because they they escalated to the situation, and their behavior is indicative of why they were escalating it. I mean, they you can see they were acting um aggressive towards the the uh lifeguards, trying to have contact with that poor little girl who was scared to death in the corner.
>> Because the white girls had said some weird stuff.
You know, I asked if she got her other phone please.
>> Give me a second.
>> You You don't >> I will ask her in a second. Relax. Give me 1 second, mama.
I mean, what he did was weird and making them uncomfortable, but we don't really have nothing on him.
>> So, you saying she didn't charge She didn't charge with >> Well, you have disorderly conduct. If she wants to be the victim of disorderly conduct, he clearly disturbed her peace and quiet um and made her feel uncomfortable. So, you could potentially go with that. The charge may not stick. The prosecutors may dump it. Uh, but there's certainly enough probable cause for that.
>> Please, wait. When y'all came down here to arrest her, y'all didn't even tell us what y'all charged her with in the first place or what she did.
>> But, what I like about these these cops are definitely thinking it through.
Like, they're even saying, "Uh, you know, it's a stretch. We can't really get him for indecent exposure because he didn't really expose it." And so, they're they're they're thinking through this. They're trying to make the right decision.
>> What charge is what that all? Y'all just straight up arrested her. What are you talking? Y'all just arrested her just like that from down down there. She didn't do anything.
>> Whatever this officer saw was enough to try to detain. But, the moment he went to detain >> going to jail off of She didn't do anything.
>> I'm not having this argument. The main thing she needs to worry about isn't even everything before. It's kicking and spitting on cops. Cuz that's going to be a felony.
>> Sundays, man.
>> Yeah.
>> It's always Sunday.
>> The suspect who was arrested first, Jana, was >> I love it when they use the most unflattering pictures of them.
All right. So, she got assault, disorderly conduct, fighting, and threatening. Obstructing official business, yep. Resisting arrest, yep.
Yeah. That's uh that's all good to go.
Uh, and then obstruction official business and resisting arrest, yep.
Looks good.
>> Simple assault, disorderly conduct, obstructing, and resisting arrest. The second suspect, Maya, >> I don't even see the assault on a law enforcement officer, which was the spitting in the face, which she should have got.
Uh, she should have got assault on a law enforcement officer.
>> Yeah, was charged with obstructing and resisting arrest. They are both presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
>> I don't think we've got the outcome here, but look, I thought they did a good job. I mean, >> [sighs] >> clearly you could see the lifeguard was very afraid. She was uncomfortable. And for good reason. She's like, "Hey, look, this guy did this." The manager did his job. He did very well. He went and approached them, asked them to leave the beach. They said, "We didn't do that."
So, then he says, "Okay, can you just please not approach my lifeguard?" But no, they couldn't leave it at that. They had to keep pushing it, pushing it, had to go over, and eventually at one point throws the two shoes, according to them.
But the police officer sees one shoe being thrown. That's your There's enough probable cause for disorderly conduct or potentially assault right there. So, he does the right thing. He shows up, puts them in cuffs. Immediately, she starts to resist, doesn't want to give her name. So, really, she is They They could have gotten citations and maybe nothing.
Maybe it's like, "Okay, let's just Can I ask you guys to leave the beach?" And nothing happens. But no, the way they acted is really why they ended up in uh getting arrested in the back of a police car as opposed to potentially maybe at worst just getting a citation and being asked to leave. So, they really escalated the situation. Um they tried to make race an issue on this whole thing when that wasn't This was just you can't go and harass and assault people. And this poor girl's probably making next to nothing just trying to have a living and trying to keep people alive on the beach.
I don't know. They like I I see these things and then of course it's always never When this kid was telling the story to his aunt, he was telling a totally different story cuz he knows he's going to be in trouble for letting them get in trouble. So, anyway, uh I'd love to know what you think. How'd they do? I thought they did great. They came down, put people in handcuffs. This situation, you and I have seen it a million times. It would have gotten much worse had he not come down and taken control of the situation.
He did an awesome job. Let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe, and I'll catch you on the next video.
