Friendly reminder, we are not diagnosing anyone today. This is a pyogenic granuloma. They're common in pregnancy. They often appear on the gums. Anyone can get them though, and sometimes they're triggered by a skin injury. They bleed and ooze. Pregnancy is a time where you're making a lot of blood, you're making a lot of blood vessels cuz you're trying to build a person. So, these kind of things can pop up. But, with pregnancy, after delivery, they often shrink. So, sometimes the doctor will just wait to remove them till after the pregnancy, but it is important to have them properly evaluated and treated because sometimes stuff can look like this that is not a pyogenic granuloma. For example, a melanoma can look like this, not to terrify anyone. In other words, don't self-diagnose, don't self-treat, don't rely on someone on TikTok to give you a diagnosis and management plan. See a doctor. That's what big doctor wants you to think.
