THEY ARE SPREADING AWARENESS!?! | Inpatient (Ren x Chris Webby) - NeurodivergentAdded:
[music] >> What's up, y'all? It's your boy Venom coming back at y'all again today with another reaction, and today you know what it is. It's another week, [music] another Ren and Webbie drop, and I'm here for it, and I will be here for all of them until the album actually drops.
Impatient. We're ready for this.
I did have my criticisms. I think the last song that I did or the song before that with uh Ren and Webbie, and I did say that I hope that they don't [music] drop single after single after single after single like every week just because in my personal opinion it does kind of ruin the album per se just because you already know what you're going to get with half the tracks already being released. A lot of artists do this, but not this many, [music] I feel like.
Sometimes they'll just drop one or two, maybe three tops, singles from their album, and then they'll let it ride.
But, you guys have been telling me that they're going to drop like seven or eight tracks [music] until they finally drop the actual track uh the actual album.
Which is fine. It's fine for me cuz that just means every week I can [music] dissect everyone, get down to the nitty-gritty of these videos that they're dropping. I love how they're dropping a music video for each one, too. It's incredible.
So, that's how you know this is a great project.
>> [music] >> So, I'm excited for that. I don't mind it.
Um once the album comes out, I will do an album reaction, but obviously not with the songs that I've already listened to. Maybe I'll let them play, but I just won't pause it or anything like that.
Let me know down the comments what you want. Should I go through the whole album and skip the ones that we've already heard, that I've already reacted to, or should I just do those songs anyway, but just let them play through and then, you know, pause and talk about it with the songs that I haven't heard yet. Let me know down below what y'all think and I will do that.
So, I'm excited for this one. We got Impatient, that's the album, Ren and Chris Webby Neurodivergent. So, neurodivergent it's a big word and now it encompasses a lot of things. It could mean, you know, like ADHD, [music] ADD, um you could also be like on the spectrum, so you could have autism or Asperger's or stuff like that. So, it's a big spectrum, but the thing is I heard a song from Chris Webby like 8 years ago, maybe more than that, could be 10 years ago.
And I never heard this term used before, but it's called chemical imbalance. Okay? So, Chris Webby came out with song called I chemical imbalance that I got a chemical imbalance. I never heard that before and I was like, what does that even mean? I got a chemical imbalance. It's when like your brain just isn't wired like everyone else, like certain chemicals in your brain are like not producing like like serotonin or something, you're not producing enough serotonin, so you're not happy enough, stuff like that.
So, that was interesting. I was like, oh, okay, that's interesting. Like, you could have anxiety from it, panic disorder.
So, it makes sense that him and Ren actually teamed up because Ren, we already know Ren has his issues with autoimmune disease, his Lyme disease, stuff like that. So, this is actually great. Like, now that I just saw like neurodivergent, I was like, oh, it clicked in me. I was like, oh, yeah, that's right. Chris Webby also had problems like this back in the day. Said he's got a chemical imbalance, so I'm here for it. I'm excited for this.
Guys, let me know what you think and if you guys are new around here, make sure to like, comment, and subscribe. It helps me out tremendously, you have no idea. And if you think you may be subscribed, double check cuz you might not be.
So, yeah, that will definitely help. I got the lyrics on the other screen in case I need them, not too sure.
You never know with these guys, so let's get right into it, shall we?
We got impatient, Ren, and Chris Webby, Neurodivergent.
Let's let it rock.
>> [music] >> See what we got here.
>> [music] >> That's already a bar.
The song's called Neurodivergent. Webby is the teacher and all the kids are just playing. They're just throwing paper planes at each other, throwing balls, spitballs at each other. They can't sit down and strap in and focus.
They're neurodivergent. Bars.
>> [music] [music] >> Dude.
>> [music] >> Ah.
All right, so we're already popping off.
Obviously, you know, they can't pay attention cuz they're just throwing all the spitballs and and paper planes.
But then you say, "Oh, we're going to do a magic show.
Look, there's like colors, there's things, there's a woman that's going to get cut in half. Now people will pay attention."
So, he's saying that's basically what it takes for people who are neurodivergent to pay attention. You need spectacle, you need colors, bright colors, you need this and that. You need to have something crazy.
And he starts off like stay calm.
My thoughts are burning like they're napalm.
I think I need to get get away from this noise. So, he needs to get away from all this cuz like some people just hear like constant noise or if they're around areas that hear a bunch of noise, they got to get out of there. They can't even handle it.
I hate the places that I came from.
Destroy and burn the messages from the preacher.
Don't do that.
Don't do that.
Subliminal out the speaker, I never paid attention either. Okay, so we're already spent.
>> [music] >> Right?
>> [music] [singing] >> So, there we go again. He's talking about he's got to pop pills cuz his cerebellum is messed up.
What did he say exactly?
I've been sitting pretty with prescriptions cuz once you're on like all these prescriptions that they have you pop, like you feel like everything's Gucci. I'm sitting pretty.
But he's flipping stimulants and edibles. So, now he's got edibles and these antidepressants and or like Ritalin, ADHD drugs, stuff like that. Um It's medicine cerebellum repairable.
Tweaking the biochemical peaking, I feel incredible. So, he's using the edibles with the prescription drugs. He's popping them and using them at the same time to feel incredible. Get down there, kitty.
Okay, wow. I like this a lot.
Cuz this is this is something that I'm surprised that Ren hasn't all put together yet.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> He said, "Wait a second, I need dopamine. My focus goes to world's smoke machine."
Uh, precursor burst from L-tyrosine and my racetrack thoughts race cycling.
So, his tra- his mind never stops.
He's deciphering maybes and might have been. So, his brain doesn't stop, so even when he's trying to focus up, his brain doesn't stop thinking about like what could have been, what should have been, stuff like that. He's trying to like differentiate the two, and he's spiraling.
Fibonacci Vicodin?
Kamehameha!
How you going to randomly bring Fibonacci into this? Like the Fibonacci sequence, the golden number, the perfect ratio? Like, what?
Fibonacci Vicodin and I pilot in Kawasaki Ninja things. Cuz you got the Kawasaki bikes, the Ninjas, the 1000s.
Whoop.
I bring torque, big talk, talk big, bang. WOW.
WOW.
TOP lip explode cuz he's like going like this.
>> What makes [music] a person neurodivergent?
Ah.
Six six percent certain. [music] Neurodivergent.
>> They told me I was broken.
Nothing but a defect [music] in my [singing] head. Okay. Said that I was hopeless.
Just a [ __ ] reject [music] hanging on by a thread.
I just realized what's happening.
I just realized what's happening.
The point of the music video. Since they're both neurodivergent, they can't really like keep it together that well.
So, you got I thought Ren was a teacher.
No, no, no, no, no. Ren is a substitute teacher. That's why they're all acting out cuz you know how we I don't know I'm a '90s baby. I know how it was.
You know, in middle school, high school, you get a sub, you're like, "Oh, hell yeah. We can act up like crazy. We can not even pay attention to the sub.
We can just be completely like butt holes, no matter what."
So, Ren is a substitute teacher, and then Webby is the janitor in the same school because he doesn't he can't be a teacher. None of them can be a real like quote-unquote teacher.
So, Webby is a janitor.
Okay, now I see where this goes. He said they told me I was broken, nothing but a defect in my head, said I was hopeless.
Okay, guys. Okay, I get I get the video now.
Neurodivergent.
>> They told me I was broken.
Nothing but a defect [music] in my head.
Ah. Said that I was hopeless.
Kill, kill. Just a [ __ ] reject hanging [music] on by a thread. But after all the pills that they got me, it turned me to a zombie. So, welcome to the dawn [music] of the dead.
In the handicap spot just to see that doctor in this >> [music] [music] >> Exactly what I said, ADHD, autism, you know what I'm saying? He said the doctor said I got a touch of the tism. And then the whole time Webby is the dealer. He's the dealer that's neurodivergent.
Being the gender at school, but kids are coming through, he's just like I got you.
I got you.
Uh.
Said it was hopeless, just a reject hanging on by a thread, but after all the pills that they got me, it turned me into a zombie. Have you ever seen a pill zombie before?
They just walk around like they got no soul, like they're just literally just going through day and they have no idea what they're doing, when they're doing, or why they're doing it. It's wild.
So, welcome to the dawn of the dead.
In a handicap spot just to see that doctor, and this is what he said.
Touch of the tism, piece of my puzzle is missing.
That's a good way to put it. And also, that's a double because the autism symbol is like a jigsaw uh logo. It's a lo- jigsaw logo.
So, that's a double.
While the attention deficit disorder tunnels my vision, but see this world's an asylum and [ __ ] we all live in the system. That's true, cuz you go around the world, the world is messed up.
The world is messed up, so it just feels like everyone is basically neurodivergent at this point because no one likes what they're seeing.
And our sanity's got the cost of admission.
See that glitch in our algorithm? That's me. Uh. The attention deficit disorder [music] tunnels my vision, but see this world's an asylum and [ __ ] we all in the >> [music] [music] [music] >> Even the substitute teacher is getting getting broke off by the dealer.
God, he's just snorting like Ritalin or Xanax or something.
Misfits rounds a [ __ ] allow me to show them what I came to do. Shut the blinds and keep the noise down cuz it's about time to let them all into a madman's mind. I love this. This is just a good track just about neurodivergency.
I mean, point-blank.
I just saw >> [music] >> One is breaking out. One is drying. Breaking out a line.
That book of sugar? Could be.
Yeah, it's got to be.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> I thought he was actually playing it.
>> [music] >> Beautiful guitar.
>> [music] >> I got one back there.
Ibanez.
>> What is this, Metallica?
He was actually ripping that.
>> [music] >> Shrinks and psychiatry.
>> [music] [music] >> Was that her like trying to like literally like scrape her face off?
>> [music] >> Well, that's fine with me.
>> [music] >> Kill. Kill.
>> [music] >> Yeah, I knew we had a joke, but I knew it.
Absolute banger. And honestly, most of the things that I um my prayer rope here. Most of the things that I um called out in the beginning of the reaction of what neurodivergency is, they basically said everything that I said and more and showed it in a physical representation, which was chef's kiss.
I love that. Ren I'm pretty sure that was all one take as well. It looked like it anyway. Kind of the last one that I did was definitely one take cuz Ren's a one take god.
He'll reshoot that thing like 80 times.
He don't care unless it looks mint in a one take just whole thing.
Might not have been actually because they did cut to a lot of different things. So, I guess that might declare it not a one take because it wasn't one continuous like camera motion to like everything that we were saying, but guys fire and I think that it's very important that they're bringing awareness to you know, just everywhere cuz it feels like now more than ever feels like now more than ever everyone's either on SSRIs or is just chronically depressed and not even treating it. And it's a problem.
It is a problem. Like the world is a scary place to live in right now.
So I'm glad that they're shedding light on this topic. And I think also the people that follow Ren and Webbie would agree that they feel good that their particular impairment is getting some light shed on them. But anyway guys, this is kind of a long one, so I won't hold y'all anymore. Can't wait for the album release and as always, I'll catch y'all in the next one. Peace.
