Prioritizing social media over a child's critical medical needs is a profound failure of parental responsibility that borders on endangerment. This commentary correctly identifies that medical literacy is not optional when a vulnerable life depends entirely on informed care.

Baby, I told y'all this was coming and now it's time to talk about it. So, let's get to it.

Hey guys, welcome to my channel and welcome to another video in Arkansas. Now, guys, those of you who are in my private group, which everybody is welcome to, by the way, all you have to do is um become my friend on u Instagram, which is the same name as my channel, and DM me for entry. But, um I let you guys know that a few things have been happening since I've been home. So, um, instead of me going live two days ago, I'm here now. But let's just get right into it. I mean, life happens. What can you say? Um, so today, as you guys saw or heard and see by the thumbnail, we are going to be talking about Tacky Assa today.
I don't know why whenever I make up names for people, it always has to rhyme. I don't know. It just works out that way. But anyway, yeah, we going to talk about your nail today cuz honey, I've been waiting to get to her ass because baby, this girl just she's always so busy worried about the wrong thing until we get to the point that, you know, she looks crazy out here. And so people get upset sometimes because they think I'm uh being too hard on her. But quite frankly, when you bring a life into this world, minimal should not be your normal. So that's always where when I'm having conversations with you guys, that's where I'm coming from, you know. So anyway, we're going to jump on over uh we're going to jump on over and get right into this video. The topic of the video is I had to take one of my twins to the hospital. Now, over the next week or so, we are going to go back and try to get to some things that was missed um by me uh for one reason or another.
We're going to get back to some of the people that we've been talking about um that we need to get caught up on. So, expect a lot of videos. Um, I'm still, uh, as you know, me coming back to Arkansas was me coming to get the rest of my stuff and move back to Georgia.
Um, I did something big the other day. I did make application for my RV. I don't know why I've been so scared, but I have been. I'm just keeping it real. And so, we'll see what happened with that. But anyway, let's jump into the reaction.
Welcome to the channel. Welcome back to another video you guys. And as y'all can see, currently we are back in the hospital.
Mr. K.
It's okay, man.
It's okay.
>> You know what? Just right off the bat, why didn't Miss Heer get him settled down before she took the time to come and let us know that her son was in the hospital? Like, girl, he needs your attention. You know, it's bad enough that he had to go back in the hospital, which means that something is wrong. But instead of you just doing right by him in that instance, what are you doing?
coming to make everybody feel away because he's crying and we already know he's sick and of course we feel bad. We do not want your son to be sick nor would we want you to be in a situation, you know, of hardship. Nobody wants that for you. But we also want and expect you to be a better mama. Damn [ __ ] Let's change.
>> So, here's the stuff that his bottle.
>> Okay.
>> Um, and I brought you an extra bottle as well.
>> Okay. Thank you.
>> Um, and then the level two nipple will be right here. And then I'll put the level one nipple up here at the top.
>> So, if you need it, but it's it's slower than the two. So, >> to get mixed up.
>> Okay. Thank you so much.
>> Have a day.
>> You too. Thank you.
Good. Mommy has a diary. Yes. Say mommy. Hurry up. Okay.
Okay. Mommy man.
Give me one second.
God damn.
>> Okay.
All right, y'all. So, I'mma give yall a mini little update. Give me one second so I can give you an update.
What's going on?
When do I want to prop up? But let's prop us up here.
I'm try to talk to y a little bit before the nurse is pulling my necklace.
All right, y'all. So, currently I am back in the hospital with baby A, which is baby Kaden, her oldest twin. Um, it's not much of a bad reason, but if you all are new here, I had twins in January and one was a cle pallet twin.
>> Ma'am, how you going to say it's not much of a bad reason your baby is in the damn hospital? Okay.
I make mouth >> means it's not cle lip because a lot of y'all get it confused. Um cle means the roof of your mouth didn't get a chance to finish forming correctly during your first trimester. Ma'am, in the first trimester, um that's just incorrect. Let me just leave it there. Um it just didn't get a chance to completely form. Um, but it has nothing to do with the trimester.
>> So, I never knew. Um, during like all my ultrasound appointments, they weren't able to tell because Oh, good job. That's big bird.
They weren't able to tell.
>> Do you see how his head is being held?
Um, I don't know. I mean, and then when she picked him up, how you can see the bony structure in his face.
This baby, it just really seems seriously malnourished. And granted, he does have a deficiency. He has a cleft pallet and it makes it hard. Well, because they knew this, he's not the first baby with a cleft pallet.
Obviously won't be the last. This should be something that was already prepared for.
And I'm not, for the record, I'm talking about the doctors to um both of the twins being breached literally my whole entire pregnancy. So, >> sweetie, most babies are uh head up until the final um couple of weeks of pregnancy. So, the fact that your babies being one direction or another has absolutely nothing to do with his clip, anything, sweetie, you should just focus on, you know, doing the vlogging and stop trying to sound intelligent because then you really are making yourself sound stupid.
I'm just being real.
>> Reach and you're not able to see the baby's mouth correctly. Definitely not inside their mouth. So, >> and let's say that they did see out of his mouth.
It wasn't going to change [ __ ] It ain't like they could have made him develop any different, which means he was still going to have a club palette, baby. So, just go on with the damn video and stop trying to sound smart.
I didn't know up until they were born.
Um, but with that being said, when they were born, the doctors, they all let me know that cleft pallet, um, literally the first year of a baby's life, you going to have a lot of doctor's appointments. you're going to have a lot of hospital stays. So, that's just where we at right now.
Not only is he a cleft pallet baby, but he also had jaw surgery when he was about a month and a half, almost two months. So after that um he also had hernia surgery as well. So >> hold up now. You ain't told us about no hernia surgery. You did tell us that he was um that you had hernia surgery. Let me make sure I say it right.
So my baby is only four months. He just turned 4 months. Well, they just turned 4 months on the 11th of this month and already he has had what? Two surgeries.
So, that's a lot to hold a 4month old baby. Um, but with his puff pal, >> but you know what, Tana, that's not why he in the hospital. He's in the hospital because he's severely underweight. Now, there's no way they can blame you. The baby has issue. But the fact of the matter is as his mother, why weren't you? You don't do nothing but be at home. And I'm not saying you don't do anything at home. What I'm trying to say is you don't work. You don't have a busy life. You spend 100% of your time. So you say with your babies, so why did you not notice as your other son was thriving that he wasn't and got on top of this before it got this bad? It causes him to sometimes the milk doesn't digest properly which if you are not eating well if it's not digesting properly then it takes a toll on your body to where you may not be gaining weight as much as you supposed to. So that's the stage that we are at right now. Kaden is not gaining weight how he's supposed to due to his cleft pallet and it's causing him to basically be a lot smaller than his twin. Okay. But that has nothing to do with the fact that he cries all the time.
His issues is bigger than these isolated things that you're trying to blame it on.
So, um, that's been my biggest concern and I let his doctors know. Like, I'm very, very concerned because he eats a lot. He takes down his milk, but he also spits up a lot because, like I said, imagine the root of your mouth being wide open. Like, try to drink some soda.
Like, I'm laughing because y'all, I'm imagining myself. Like so I feel for my baby but imagine drinking a soda water anything liquid or even eating and the top of your mouth is wide open if it was an issue with his mouth being open.
They would not have allowed him to go home and be cared for by you. They would ensure his health and safety by keeping him there or they would have at least kept him until he could handle the cleft pallet surgery. When they put in the rods or whatever they did, they were giving him enough of a roof to be able to hopefully function. That's why he had the special nipple and all the things.
Again, you are not the first mom that had a baby with this condition and you won't be the last. Maybe you should have spent some of that time while you out here chasing all these men trying to educate yourself about what your baby got. Literally like you wouldn't it'll be very hard to do. I'm not going to say you're not going to be able to do it, but it'll be very very hard to do. So that's basically what a cleft pallet baby goes through like trying to eat and it's not either digesting all the way or very hard is aggravating to the point you don't want to eat and that's just what so that being said this hospital visit I told them listen don't send my baby back home and we don't come to any conclusion and you know the root of the issue.
So basically what you telling us without telling us that is I got too many kids at home. Anyway, y'all can keep this one for a little while until being his mama is easier.
That's really what you saying. But here they're saying they going to get to the bottom of it. They're going to do something called a swallow study, which means uh it's like a live X-ray, which means a camera will be on his stomach and it will see like in his mouth. Like it'll literally be looking at his whole body to make sure the milk is digested properly. Or a swallow study to mean that they are looking at his throat.
They're looking at his uh pallet and watching the food as it comes in and as it goes down. Now, the thing is why is he spitting up so much milk? That's another really separate issue cuz a cleft pallet has nothing to do with your stomach unless the separation goes down into that area. or if the milk is not digesting properly, they can figure out, you know, what's the next step that they need to do to ensure that his milk do digest properly so he can pick back up on his weight, okay? Cuz he's smaller than his birth weight right now.
But it's okay. And that's a damn shame.
It's sad and I'm sure it's problematic for him as a baby, but at the same time, it's just shameful that she allowed it to get to that magnitude. This is a 4mon-old baby that is smaller than he was when he was born.
So, I want y'all to send y'all love and send y'all comfort and y'all peace and y'all prayers for my little baby. He's very, very strong. He's small, but he's a very, very, very strong individual.
And he get that from me. Cuz y'all know, Mama T is small, but she mighty, baby.
Y'all know what's up. And y'all know I'm literally a onewoman army, okay? And that's how he is. He just not a one man army because he got a twin. And not only that, he got a strong mama, but he has some siblings coming behind him. But other than that, y'all, he's okay. Mama T, look, this motherhood thing, it ain't easy, but I make it look easy, and I'm going to get it done regardless. So, you don't make [ __ ] look easy.
you make it look like you're a person that shouldn't have been allowed to have all these children. Um, you really can't function well while you are here. you're leaving your kids at home and um down the road when he needed you to be there for him, what you ended up being was out trying to get money, which I mean that's a part of being a parent kind of. But my point was that was a moment when they was putting a tube in him that you should have had your ass at home.
>> That's just where we at.
I'm going to be okay. I will be home.
>> Why don't you hold his damn head? Y'all see how his head is hanging back? She act like she don't know nothing about having no damn child.
I mean, I I just don't Yeah, she getting on my nerves cuz she just not doing right by this baby. And I do not like that [ __ ] But anyway, let's continue.
>> Very, very soon. I said he had to be here for the rest of the week.
Unfortunately, they want to watch him.
They want to make sure he's okay before he's discharged. And there's a possibility that he may be sent home to just he can get his weight and they feel like with him drinking a bottle, he's taking too long to finish his bottle and he's burning a whole lot of calories more than gaining. So, it's okay. Long as my baby get discharged on the right track, I'm okay.
I'm going to learn how to use this tool.
We going to get it done. I'm already aware that this first week, I mean, this first year of his life is going to be a whole lot on me. I'm prepared. I got it week so he can go ahead and go to sleep.
He just finished his bottle. He got a diaper change.
I got his little baby sister on.
So cute. And it work perfect. So it makes this noise and this noise put him to sleep.
Did you buy it, Tina?
I really thought it was kind of nasty how she had that pamper laid up there.
Like soon as she finished changing him, she should have put it where it goes.
So, I'm going to turn the lights off, wash my hands, and I got to start packing So, what we going to do is go to the next video.
Um, my heart goes out to the baby because he didn't ask for this.
Um, he didn't ask for the condition.
And you know, Tana may not be the best of moms, but she's still not the worst of moms. I mean, although she's sorry and all the things, she still takes care of the kids in a way that um you know, it's better this. So, I'm saying that just because although, you know, I'm telling y'all how I feel about the situation, I realize everything is not her fault.
So, I'm just calling it like I see it.
Wash your face with very cold water. And always leave it a little damp. Like, don't scrub it. Leave it a little damp cuz your face get real really real dried out.
the skin get dried up and then ain't it interesting how she didn't start back talking to her mom till she was approved for this home that she feels is her big house. In other words, like that she was she kind of is in a similar situation aka competition.
These two is what I use. Now, I told you about this cream already. You only get this if it's prescribed, okay?
And you're not supposed to use it on your face, but I have for years and nothing never happened. But it is a steroid, so you're not supposed to.
>> Baby, that's cold. She can leave her soal education center.
>> Okay, y'all. I have a busy day today. Oh gosh, I'm tired already.
Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
So, first I forgot to bring the stroller.
I don't know why I did that. Why I forgot that? Because today I'm going I just finished. Right now I'm at Atlanta City Home. I had to get my water switched into my name cuz for some reason after doing it online, they told me to come in. So had to come in. Then uh my case worker told me to go apply for SSI for K.
>> What case worker told you that, honey?
Now, I ain't saying he can't get it, but I'm just curious. I ain't never heard of nobody apply for SSI for a PL palette.
Something that can be uh fixed. Another thing, um, it was something else that she said, the water thing. Um, you know, by having a house, she doesn't realize that that creates a new bill for her, which is the water bill. So, not only do you have, if you have gas, you have a gas bill, then you have electricity, then you have water. If you're at the top of your voucher, they're not going to give you a energy check. And quite frankly, they're going to after a period of time force you to go to work. I think when them kids hit 6 months, you going to have to have a activity.
They're doing that for housing as well.
Now, so it's like she need to realize what she got going on. Now, I'll give her credit. she is doing better with vlogging and stuff, so her income from that may be up. But for a a person with a page as big as hers, to me, she don't get the views that she should get. So, I have to get that done. Um, then I'm also going to go apply for child support. So, I got to get that done, y'all. It's a lot. So, I'm I'm still trying to go see Kaden, but yeah, I did my mom. I let her know what was going on. His grand shut the door is going.
>> Wait a minute. The woman that you done talk trash about tried to allude to the fact that she was messing with that daddy. That's who you called uh to come up there. um the woman that you had all these things to say about the woman that you threatened like I'm just trying to understand for the people this the lady that you are saying uh that's going up there and you mean to tell me going and filing for child support which is something you could have did online and filing for social security which is also something you could could have did online was more important Then being there when your child got a tool put in.
My father won't feel alone like he don't have no support and stuff like that.
>> His mama should be his primary support.
Even if your mother did come, that's not her child. Shame on you.
>> Can't have a lot of support. But me personally, I don't want nobody going to the hospital really seeing my baby like that other than myself or his dad. But unfortunately, >> you idiot, you got your son on the world wide web. So what the [ __ ] you mean? You don't want nobody see him like everybody see him like that. Why? Cuz you recording it like you dumb as [ __ ] >> Y'all know how dads do when they get in their feelings. They don't care about their children. So, it's okay though.
Life goes on. Um, deadbeat fathers, they get what they deserve later on in life.
So, it's okay. I'm not >> First of all, you had a baby by a man who has uh negative stuff on his record in regards to said children. This what you did. That's number one.
Um, as long as he was in your face, he was daddy. You was even having his daughter, his other child over there.
But now that he is basically not doing what you want him to do, now he's a dead beat. I'm just just trying to clarify, gain clarity.
Uh lastly, um dang, it was one more point.
Also, I wanted to make the point that when you have kids by dudes, you're not in a relationship with them and all the things. This is what happens. So don't uh act like people are trying to wrong you.
This is just the life that you chose.
>> It's all good. My main focus is Kayen coming home, being on the right track at his own pace, build his weight up, get healthier, and my focus is on rest of my kids, my new home, and myself. Okay. So, that being said, I'mma go ahead get him changed. Um, and then I'm heading to probably the child support office first and then the um social security office for that and stuff. And this really going to take all day, but I got to go ahead and get it all done before I got to go pick up the big kids from school.
So, I love y'all. Say byebye. So you not going to head to the uh bedroom and brush that baby hair? Put some juices and berries on his hair so he won't look like he got the mans back there in the back.
Say byebye.
Say byebye.
Hello.
Hi.
Hello.
>> She going to say that the other baby look like her. Actually, he the one that look like her.
Huh?
>> Come here. Let me tell you, baby.
Come here. Come here.
Hey, y'all. Put your brother down. He going to start crying. It's okay.
You say hi. Pop. Say hi. Say hi. Say hi.
Hold on.
Hold on, my man. Hold on. Do the B. Okay.
Come on. Say hi.
How old are you? Two. Two.
You know how to go to the potty? Yes.
What color is this?
Orange.
>> What color is that? Brown.
>> No.
>> Good job.
Bye. All right, y'all. So, the kids are out of school. They're about to help me clean out the car cuz they made that mess. Y'all see my floors is nasty. My feet.
Grab case's um car seat.
>> Hey y'all.
>> Hey. Hey y'all. We helping mama clean out her car cuz I need a break.
Look at that. Look at my back seat, y'all. Look at that. Crawls everywhere.
>> I got them run out of school so they can do a membership pay as well every month.
>> But you need to have vacuum first before you start.
>> Oh my god.
She ain't comb that baby hair, but she watching her car.
Okay, papa. Good job. Look at you.
>> All her kids bodies going to be messed up with the strain that she put on them at such young age. Also, Ta, why that baby socks don't match? Good job.
N What you say with them chips?
>> N chips.
>> Girl, you ain't doing it with the chip.
If that boy don't look like his daddy, baby.
>> No.
>> Yeah, I just order kids some groceries.
I'm tired of eating me out of a house.
They eat.
>> You mean eating the government out of a house? Cuz you ain't bought lights or nothing but honey. Uh the government paid for that with them Stampalinos. So let's keep it real. Stop acting like you doing that cuz you not >> the egg.
>> Why is you lying?
>> Everybody eat everything, including you, >> including the twins.
>> I barely >> Okay, call her out, baby girl. Call her out. But that baby need to go. All of these little babies need to go not only to the dentist, but you need to see if uh Medicaid got a program for their little teeth.
>> I'm skinny, >> girl. Baby, everybody had to turn around and side out her on that one.
>> Okay, >> what's the problem?
No, >> I ain't going to talk about mommy. You bought Big K. What wrong with Big K?
Oh, >> see that's your problem right there.
What you mean is >> No, her problem is her mama.
>> But we digress.
>> What that supposed to mean?
>> Come on. Take the stuff out the bag.
>> Thank you.
>> Go get them waters, KJ.
She been on my line. I'm like, "Baby, can I eat?"
Ain't chill. Ain't chill.
>> KJ, what's wrong with you?
What? Be quiet.
Ain't >> chill. Ain't chill.
10 more burrito.
Please show me.
>> I thought she was going to come back tonight.
She said >> I got ready to get discharged and she'll come up and show you how to do it.
So instead of her being there and making sure everything was good with her baby, she wanted to go apply for child support and all of these things, which those things are important, but the babies are four months old. She had, let's say, the last three months supply because obviously the first month you doing what you doing, you at home healing all the things. Then she turned around and had surgery. Now she wasn't thinking about none of that stuff till she got what she had going on taken care of. Now going to file for child support and all the things is more important than making sure your son was good and being there so you know how to deal with his tube. I think that was a very poor intest going to be I don't know why I thought it going to be something y'all look at too. Bless you. Then they send me Kayen home with Oh, what's in here? Oh, the plugers.
>> The bag. The the feeding bag.
>> Let me see.
>> She said that.
>> Oh, okay.
>> Um, there's one bag every 24 hours. She said, um, when you leave, they call a little packet in there with a number on it and they going to send you out some more water.
>> Oh, okay.
>> That's just >> So, what's this water? Yeah, that's just water in there for her to show how it work.
>> So I can take it out.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh no. Well, how you take it out?
>> That prime button.
>> Uhuh. Nope. That that open.
>> Yeah.
>> The prime button is to get the air out of it. That's why you got to prime it before you use.
>> No. Milk go in first, then you prime it.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
You only have to >> She already said the feed thing.
>> She said it's going to probably be different because it's not going to always be 90 mil. I mean, it's not going to always be 34 minutes. It's whatever he going to drink after 15 minutes out of this bottle >> is what you put in there.
>> These go to >> Yeah. with them right there. That's to clean out the um >> tube. What's that?
>> No, no, no. It's not the tube. What did she say?
flush the tool.
Yes, >> it's for it's but it's three different size. I'm trying to remember what you said for each size.
She had to come back. I don't remember.
>> You probably ain't going to tell me to discharge.
>> Honey, you should have been there. How about that?
>> I thought she would come back tonight.
No, >> she told me to tell you discharge her.
I should go ahead.
>> And she said it'll last it that black thing is a cord. She said when you get home, charge it up. You put keep it on the cord while you plug in the wall while you there. But it'll last 6 hours when you outside. If you out >> pallet babies, y'all really look like the cookie monster. Did you look it up?
>> You don't see how Cookie Monster mouth look? That's how all clutch babies mouth look. So it's funny that they got how she say my trunk down cuz they they got they Yeah, that's when she said when they tell you you know they need more you call them and they come back and put you back up. My glasses look like he's looking at you. He got them big eyes like cookie monster too.
Oh why I gave you the back?
little toes.
He star you down.
>> You love me.
>> Get the last two out. That's probably why that one look like that cuz the last bit ain't going to come out.
My bad. Okay. All right. Extra 20 what?
In there.
>> Uhhuh. In the bag.
>> Cuz what? do the first feeding of the day because you see how it's some milk stuck in the thing >> in the line. She said it's going to always be 20 mill of milk stuck in the line that he ain't going to get. So if you just put just the rest of the milk out of his bottle and he said I could grow up the biggest >> I could grow up bigger now. Watch.
>> I'm going to grow up the biggest the largest.
>> It's okay. Yeah, I just started out small. Mama, >> I love you.
I love you.
And just like that, it's Oh, y'all tell me what y'all think about this mess here.
I really hope that baby get better. Um, I don't know what's going on with his him digesting his food, but I definitely hope that improves. But he just still seems even though he has those issues that's nobody's fault, he just doesn't seem as mature as his twin.
So, let me know what y'all think u about that. We will continue the conversation about this in the comments. you think that there is much more that Tana could have done to make this situation better?
Um, let me know in the comments. Um, do you have any suggestions if you knew a mom in her situation or how things would be, etc. Let me know what you think and we will continue the conversation there in the comments.
Thank y'all so very much for taking time to check out this video and I will definitely see you guys in the next one.
Bye.
