Economic sanctions imposed by the United States on Cuba, particularly the oil embargo, have created significant humanitarian challenges including fuel shortages and frequent power outages that reshape daily life for Cuban citizens. The video documents a humanitarian aid mission to Cuba, highlighting how external economic pressure affects basic infrastructure and quality of life, while emphasizing solidarity with Cuba as a fundamental human value.

Behind the Seales...VIVA LA CUBA PT 1Ajouté :
All right.
I'm packed and ready to go to Coob's.
>> [singing and music] [singing and music] >> So we were told that um Cubans love a meeting.
So first and foremost, y'all we are having a meeting.
That's what we're about to do.
In this beautiful space that I understand to be called the Friendship House and I definitely think I was here in 2017.
But I definitely wasn't decolonized.
9 years ago in 2017, I went to Cuba on an educational group trip.
My mom joined as well as my friend Katia.
It was super dope and we learned a lot.
>> [music] >> So he decided to um restore the bodega. Bodega is a term we have where we buy our food.
So we're driving along the Malecon.
Smell the sea.
And he actually said it's the promenade that goes from Old Havana to New Havana.
It was an upswing for Cuba. The sanctions had been lessened and [music] you know, I was in a different headspace. I have a lot of really dope pics and I even made out with a fine ass Cuban.
So we are here at Fabrica de Arte Gong Rey.
My husband.
My husband, my Cuban husband. But I'm still too hyped to go back to the United States. Headed back to America.
Now it's 2026 and both me and the world are different. Cuba is on the verge of collapse as the US continues to choke the island into surrender.
>> And Cuba's next, by the way.
>> In recent weeks, Trump has openly called for regime change in Cuba. And to do this, he's trying to strangle the island into surrender by targeting its main [music] source of fuel, oil.
In Cuba, >> [music] >> fuel shortages have reshaped daily life.
Since the oil embargo imposed by the Trump administration last January, power outages have become more frequent in [music] Cuba.
>> There are reports that the US is considering a full-on naval blockade of the island, similar to what they did with Venezuela. [music] But let's be very clear here. Cuba is on its knees, and so any deal that it makes with the US in this position is likely to be one which is basically a surrender [music] to US demands.
>> You know, all my life I've been hearing about the United States and Cuba.
I do believe I'll be having the honor of taking Cuba. So, I joined up with IFCO Pastors for Peace, and back to Cuba I went. We're going. Okay. All right.
Okay, so drama part one.
We were told that we could bring three bags. So, like, you bring two bags, you pay for the third.
And now we just got here and they're like, "No, there's an embargo.
You can only bring two bags." So, we're having to hustle and like redistribute.
Oh.
They're trying it, but we will we will succeed in our mission.
Just raising our voices for Cuba is an affirmation of our humanity.
Solidarity is our principle. It should be our basic value as human beings. Cuba sí, BLOQUEO NO. CUBA Sí, BLOQUEO NO.
CUBA Sí, BLOQUEO NO. CUBA Sí, BLOQUEO NO.
>> [music] [music] >> HE GOT IS OUR SISTER ORGANIZATION.
And Cuba is our sister nation. And we're here for Cuba.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> It's like kind of an allergy thing, right?
Hydrocortisone? I have some ointment.
You got it. Ointment is ointment.
Ah, the nurse's corner.
>> [music] >> Here's um allergy.
>> [music] >> Okay.
>> [screaming] [screaming] [singing] [cheering] [cheering] >> So this is our room.
Luckily we have electricity tonight so we have the air conditioning.
And uh it's me and Priscilla.
And it's been a long been a long been a long been a long [singing] day. I'm going to sleep.
Behind the [singing] sea I like your lesson.
