The Danger of Insulin Abuse In Bodybuilding | Gabriel Ganley PassingAdded:
the possibilities of a sudden illness or possible hypoglycemia. This is what happens with socials. You can see him here. This is him before. There he goes.
Four month transformation. You see his physique and it's a complete mutation that's occurred here. People croak every day doing this. It's the most common way that bodybuilders nowadays in 2026 or even the past decade have been going out. Dude, now with insulin and diuretics is a whole separate topic.
This is a huge All right, guys. Diago fit here. This is going to be a different type of video because a tragedy just happened. Gabriel Ganley.
This kid just got off and he is a 22-year-old was a 22-year-old born in 2003. He had 2.3 mill followers that you're seeing on the screen right now.
So, he definitely made a name for himself. He did not speak English. So, if a lot of you guys don't know who this is, that's why he was in a separate niche, separate part of the world with people who spoke his language and I'm guessing it was Spanish. This is a strange case with this kid and it's very unfortunate what's happened here. There aren't a lot of details out what happened. But there's speculation and from the news article which we're about to break down, I'm going to tell you right now, this is a massive problem and it's why I make the content I do now.
But this could have been prevented tenfold, dude. It's so unfortunate to see this. So, let's break into the news article real quick just so you get an understanding of what exactly has transpired here with the kid. So, you can see just by looking on YouTube, looking anywhere. There's millions of videos coming out about this kid right now. Again, he's 22 years old. So, this is a massive problem. It's probably going to spark widespread controversy on the use of enhancement, which is very unfortunate. Here we go. 30 second clip here.
>> So, as you can see, I think it's Brazilian or Yeah, Brazilian. So, I have the subtitles on. You can get the gist of what's happening here.
>> So, he got off this Saturday at age22.
He was off at a friend's house. No one's going to understand what this chick is saying, so I'm just going to read it. He was found often a friend house in the eastern part of Sao Paulo. Boing security secretist. No apparent signs of violence were found at the scene. The cause of the aing is not yet been officially released. The possibilities of a sudden illness or possible hypoglycemia will be investigated by the authorities. Gabriel had a strong presence on socials where he shared his workout routine accumulating over 1 million followers out of 2 million followers. Very very unfortunate. So you can see the speculation at least on the news in Brazil is due to hypoglycemia.
So, we're going to do a full breakdown of this after we go through the kid's page. Here's the scary part about this whole situation. Let's break down the YouTube channel cuz he was very open.
He's an influencer. This was him 3 days ago. I really need you to understand the severity of these things when it comes to specifically insulin use and diuretic use. Everything was sunshine and rainbows for this kid. Everything was perfect. Hunky dory for this kid. You can see him looking perfect. No health problems at all.
>> Okay. Just lifting normally. There's nothing wrong with the kid. Completely normal activity happening here. Look at him. This is him here. Okay. Nothing going wrong.
>> You hear his voice, too. This is something else where we're going to break into the transformation as well.
This is a really crazy case of a transformation here from a child.
>> You hear how uh deep his voice is, but here you go. So everything was absolutely perfect. No signs of anything. It's not like it was a gradual increase where it's like, okay, the doctor is telling you you got to make a change. This happens to a lot of people if you're specifically taking anabolics for a prolonged period of time. You get to that advanced category, right? You start going downhill. You're going to have to pull a lever. That's if you're fortunate. But anabolics specifically, it's not going to be as big of an issue when it comes to sudden croaking as opposed to insulin and diuretic use.
Those are the two compounds that can take you out. Real quick, we're going to break it down. This kid was absolutely perfect. There's no signs of anything.
When you look at this guy, you're seeing a healthy looking bodybuilder that's out there having a good time, that's getting a ton of views on socials, that's just living a normal life at the end of the day. Then 3 days later, the kid goes out. When we look at his actual channel and his Instagram page specifically, let's go over the IG first. This is him.
And let me make this very clear. This was him 2 years ago, bro. It says 277 weeks ago. So, this is a lot longer than 2 years. So you can see he's your typical gear transformation kid in this clip. Within the time span of a couple months, he goes from a normal kid, a child in this picture that you're seeing on the screen to this. Okay, you already see the visible gyno formation, but this is a child. This is what happens with socials when you start getting stuck as a kid in this whole brainwash of either the fake natural thing or people so open about their gear abuse that it's degenerate abuse. They're saying taking 2 g of TR insulin growth and they're making jokes about it. These kids get stuck in that brainwash and the brain rot of it all and they start taking it as fact. They start emulating it in one way or another. When it comes to fake naturals where it's so unobtainable to a natural where they're like, "Okay, I must be doing something wrong. I got to hop on this stuff and now I got to hop deep in on this stuff because there's something going massively wrong with me specifically." It's not the case.
They're just fake naturals. These people that are blowing up and making quick 180 transformations that are claiming natural, they're taking a lot of steroids. So that's the first things first. And there you got the opposite side of the spectrum with people like toi or people that are so openly abusing steroids in a degenerate way that can also guide kids in the wrong direction.
Now this kid got stuck in on one of these paths. So he decided to hop on at a very young age at the age of probably 18, 19 years old. He was already pumping the sauce. You can see him here. This is him before you see the gyno. It's already occurring here. See what happens. There he goes. 4 month transformation. Absolutely insane. And keep in mind it's a kid. Now, when we go back to his Instagram now, it's roughly about 2 and 1/2 2 years ago, within that time range, that's when all these clips are popping out. This kid is brand new to lifting, by the way. Like, he just got into the game. Within 2 and 1/2 years, this whole thing has transpired from A to Z with him getting a quick transformation, turning into a full-blown man in 2 years to him going out. This is his physique now. You see, he has that stereotypical dense, dry, grainy 3D look. His legs are absolutely insane. The vascularity is absolutely insane. The kid's voice absolutely dropped. Let's see his voice prior. This is him at the very beginning 2 years ago.
>> Okay, so his voice was already dropped 2 years ago.
So you can already guarantee that he is pumping the sauce already at 2 years ago. So 2 years ago, he was 20 years old. So within the time span of probably 3 to 2 years ago, this kid went from a normal kid to already pumped the sauce.
And then 2 years later, you see his physique and it's a complete mutation that's occurred here with the kid. You can see that he's already running into noticeable sides. The gyno of course which he already had. The acne, the squareness of the jaw, the facial hair growth, the voice got absolutely deep.
We can already see the visible acne.
Very bad acne with this kid. This is a noticeable common gear side that you'll run into. Typically, it's due to heavy androgenicity when it comes to the crazy acne blowup. But either way, you see him kicking it with Nick Walker or at least taking a picture with him. He made a crazy crazy transformation even for gear within the time span of two calendar years. He just stayed lean. He kept getting size. This is what happens when you do a cycle properly. Now, I say properly cuz he obviously was not on top of his health in one way or another. He might have been on top of his labs. He might have been on top of his blood pressure, right? His resting heart rate, his heart scans. He might have. So, here's the issue. Now, when you hop on insulin and growth, which this kid was most likely taking, this stuff is not going to show up on your labs. This stuff is not going to show up on your heart scans. This is a complete opposite health prer when it comes to your normal gear prerequisites that you have to do when you're hopping on steroids.
Steroids are one thing. When you take tests, even TRT or even trend unless you have a crazy health predisposition when it comes to your heart or you have some crazy random oneoff condition, you're not going to go out due to just base anabolic use fast. That's not how anabolics work. It takes a gradual time with prolonged use over the time span of maybe a decade, a couple decades of really abusing this stuff to run into a catastrophe. And that's absolutely preventable. That's one thing. Even if you take a couple blasts, a couple very toxic blasts not on top of your health, chances are you're still going to make it. You're still going to have the chance to recover and to rebound in one way or another. But when you look at insulin use, when you look at diuretic use, these are two things that despite any health checks you do, you can get taken out like this. In literal minutes, 2 hours, you can get taken out just like this. Boom. Boom. People croak every day doing this. It's the most common way that bodybuilders nowadays in 2026 or even the past decade have been going out. Dude, anybody, even if you're on top of your health, the full 9 yards with everything, you're the most cleancut, healthy specimen of a guy, it'll still take you out like this. It can at least I should say can if you don't know what you're doing. And with this kid, there was speculation that he was taking. There's a clip of him apparently going around of him going hypo live. And it's a very scary clip of him sort of nodding up. Now, let me explain this for those of you that don't understand what this is. When you take insulin, the reason why you're taking it, it's a powerful anabolic hormone.
This is a hormone itself. A lot of people will have to take this if you're running into diabetes for therapeutic replacement of this stuff. But if you're taking it as a bodybuilder, it's going to have a powerful effect to shuttle nutrients into the muscle, especially glucose and amino acids in muscle cells that can promote massive rapid muscle growth, especially when combined with GH and also glycogen storage. So, non-diabetic bodybuilders will often inject this stuff, often combined with large carb meals. You're going to have to do this to prevent hypoglycemia, but it will enhance muscle fullness and recovery tenfold. When you do this, that's what gives you that freak amount of size. That's why it leads a lot of kids to do it. Now, it's more rare that you'll see this happen. But for kids that are going to do it and go that extra mile, like you see the Costtoses of the industry, like the chronicuses of the industry, they're actively doing this as we speak. They know what they're doing, but if they mess something up for whatever reason, it's a very risky, slippery slope to go down. You can just run into a croaking event like this. And this is what will happen if you do this wrong. Insulin can dramatically lower blood sugar, which is glucose. In a non-diabetic person, this can cause severe hypoglycemia, which is dangerously low blood sugar. The brain and heart do heavily rely on glucose.
When levels crash, it can lead to confusion. It can lead to seizures. It can lead to coma, to brain damage, and a sudden fatality. Boom. 1 minute you're here, 1 minute you're gone. You're 10 ft deep in a hole if it's left untreated.
And it's especially dangerous at night or when you're alone when you're taking this stuff because if you don't know what you're doing, you can easily slip into a coma when you're sleeping. You can easily end up going hypo. You start nodding out just like someone would on Fetty. You start running into a seizure, maybe a coma, and you just slip out and you don't come back. That's the danger with this stuff. You need glucose. And when you run dangerously low on this stuff, it's a problem. And that's what insulin can do to somebody even if you're doing it properly. You'll see a lot of top tier Olympia competitors or IFBB pros taking this. They all got stories of going hypo. It's all life-threatening and they just got on top of it quick. Whether they had sugars on deck, whether they had a candy bar, whether they had some type of carbs that they were ready to go to start downing, boom, boom, boom, you got to down this [ __ ] quick. Otherwise, you're going to not out and you're not going to be here.
But people who know what they're doing with these compounds at a very high level, they got the guidance on top of them. they have that coach next to them or they have some type of buddy next to them when they're taking this stuff 24/7 or at least a significant other that understands what they're doing so they can notice if something's going wrong.
If they start noticing this person, whether it's Gabriel or some other bodybuilder, right? They take their slingshot. They might be in the gym, they might just be sitting around, they might be working, starting on out, start going like this, they will notice something's going massively wrong. So, what should you do? Start downing carbs to that person. Start down sugars.
Sugar, sugar, sugar, carbs, carbs, carbs. Boom. They need it. or else they're going to croak. They're on the path on the road to croak. Not even within a month, not within a week, not within a day, within right that second they can go out. Please keep this in mind when you're taking this stuff.
Doing is extremely tricky. This happens typically when you're new to the compound. You can go hypo quick cuz you don't know what you're doing. A small overdose, missing a small meal, missing your carbs, or pinning at the wrong time can be fatal. This is what leads to this stuff to happen. So, especially when you're new, when you're learning how the compound reacts in your system, it's not like test. It's not like you're just going to run into some high romatization. Your E2 gets a little bit too high. Whoopsy daisy. You run into a little bit of puffiness in the nipple.
You run into a little bit of mental instability. It is what it is. We just wait. You either take a AI, you drop the dose, you do something. You trial and error with this stuff. But when you're trial and erroring with insulin, on the other hand, it's not just you wait it out, you take an AI, it's like you have to do something now or you are going to go out. It's going to be a massive catastrophe. And that's the problem with this stuff, especially with kids taking it. Kids don't know what they're doing with gear. your kids don't know what they're doing with peptides. So, when they're doing this, when it comes with life-threatening consequences, it is a problem. The effects hit suddenly. And the majority of guys, like I said, going out nowadays in the bodybuilding industry, in the bodybuilding world, as competitors or even as recreational users are going out due to hypoglycemia due to insulin abuse on top of growth.
So, this is why insulin is a problem.
And this is the speculation around Gabriel Ganley. Apparently, he was taking this stuff. He was experimenting and look what happened. The other thing that we need to break into is diuretic use. Even though I don't know if this kid could have taken it, he was competing. So I'm assuming that he experimented in one way or another with diuretics. Now here's why diuretics on the other hand are on the same caliber of danger and risk as insulin. So diuretics when you look at different types like Lasix, like hydrochloroioide, like the common options you'll see guys take. This will force the kidneys to excrete large amounts of water and electrolytes to achieve that extreme dryness, to achieve that muscle definition, that separation, that 3D pop dense look that you need right before a show, especially in a deficit. This will absolutely shred all the water, all the fat off your frame very quick. In not just hours, but literal minutes, you're going to notice you're going to be pissing every 5 seconds. You're going to be just dropping out all of that water right before a show. This can cause severe dehydration and a massive electrolyte imbalance, especially potassium, sodium, and magnesium. So, when this goes off, you have to keep in mind electrolytes control heart rhythm.
When they're thrown off, it can trigger cardiac arhythmias. It can trigger heart palpitations, muscle cramps, seizures, or sudden cardiac arrest. That's why you see a lot of guys taking diuretics, they run into massive cramps where they just get stuck in a position or they're hurting real bad, running into a cramp.
When you're cramping, this is a sign of massive dehydration. And you see dudes backstage at the pro level, always cramp it up. always running into problems. You see guys getting rushed to the ER all the time at comps, whether it's at a pro level, even at an NPC level, rookie level. When guys are taking this and they don't have that oversight, this will happen and it can be life-threatening. The blood can also become thicker, blood pressure, crouches, and organs, especially the heart and kidneys can get stressed. So, dehydration can become life-threatening.
Like I said, hours 2 minutes. In general, when you're dehydrated, this is very dangerous. But when you're taking a compound like this, a diuretic, the whole purpose of it is to dehydrate you, remove the water weight, you're asking for a problem. You really have to be careful with this, too. This is another leading cause of fatalities in bodybuilders, especially at a competitive level. You won't typically see recreational users take directs.
This is typically a bodybuilding compound only. So is insulin. And you see kids taking this, too. This is a huge problem and this is a huge reality check and hitting like a freight train for a lot of people with this guy because it's all sunshine and rainbows until something goes wrong. Whether that's a cycle or whether that's with a life-threatening risky compound like insulin or diuretic use with this kid Gabriel again we see him one second 3 days ago living a perfect life living that influencer type lifestyle going out hitting list next second he's gone. So please keep in mind when it comes to leaving this earth this is something to be expected. This is something that everyone is going to end up dealing with. myself, you watching this video, Gabriel, every single person you know is going to go out. So, whatever narrative you got in your head on how to cope with that, just roll with it cuz everyone's going out. But when you see a 22-year-old go out, this kid was in the first quarter. He had three left. He went out in the first quarter, bro. This is when it becomes a massive problem.
Now, with these kids, they don't know what they're doing. But when you understand the dangers and the risk of taking these things, make sure you got that oversight. Make sure you understand what the hell is going on when you're taking this stuff. If you still decide to do this on your own and you decide to take that risk, keep in mind that a fatality is a real possibility and it multiplies drastically when you're taking especially insulin diuretics, those two, it's going to be a problem.
If you personally don't care about you going out, if you're like, you know what, I don't care if I go out, who cares? Like, I'm just trying to get the best possible physique I can. I want to win the show. If I go out, so be it. Who cares? Live like a lion. [ __ ] the sheep mentality. Let's just keep pushing.
Honestly, it doesn't matter what you think, though. You can think whatever you want. It's not about you at the end of the day. Think about the people around you that care about you that will have some type of negative impact on their life if you do go out early.
Because this kid Gabriel, his whole family, right, his circle is mourning right now. They're now going to have to deal with this for the rest of their life. Whether he knew it or not is besides the fact that this whole thing has just had a huge negative impact on everybody and it is going to stay with all those people in his circle for life.
This is going to be a very hard and difficult thing for these people to deal with for the coming years to decade.
This is something else you got to think about with this game. When it comes to gear, that's one thing. This is self-development. You have to be selfish to do this. But there are ways to prevent sides. There's ways to prevent these catastrophes when it comes to gear alone. Now, with insulin and diuretics is a whole separate topic. This is a huge danger. And unless you really have oversight, I'm telling you, even myself, I've have not experimented with this stuff, and I never will. Anyone that works with me, anyone that I know in my circle, I always tell them, don't experiment with insulin. Don't experiment with diuretics. It is a problem. You're asking for something bad to happen. And the unfortunate reality to this is at the top caliber of bodybuilding when it comes to IFBB Pro, when it comes to Olympia, you're going to have to do it because that's the standard. If you don't do this stuff, it's going to be very difficult to compete with the rest of the guys on stage that are actively doing this and doing it the proper way. So, there are ways to do it. But you really need to get someone that's been around the ropes, that's gone through it, that has taken insulin themselves with success, that has taken Durex themselves and knows what to do and is with you 24/7 right next to you. so that they can identify when something's going wrong.
And even then, you're running a massive risk because every individual is going to react differently to these compounds.
Every individual will have a separate pro or con to whatever compound it is.
And when you're trying and airing out compounds like insulin and diuretics, again, there's really no room for error.
You really have to be on top of it because one error, boom, you're gone.
Please keep this in the back of your head. This is a very, very unfortunate case and I wasn't close to this guy. I honestly didn't even know him prior to this event. So this whole scenario isn't hitting me like a freight train the way it is everybody in his circle, right?
This just another guy that's croak to me. You look at the people going out every day. It's about 160,000 people a day are croaking. Boom, boom, boom.
Every minute, every second someone's going out. So it's just another normal life thing to happen. But when he's in the first quarter going out, that's a problem. And you can almost guarantee this is happening to thousands of kids and guys, grown adults every day as well. This is just someone that had an open brand. What was publicly known had 2.3 million followers on socials that it happened to. So it's now mainstream news topic. But what about all the other people that had no brands? What about all the other people that you didn't know existed? It's happening to everybody, but you just don't know they exist. So please understand that when I say these things, when I'm going over the dangers of this stuff, it's not fear-mongering. People are like, "You're fear-mongering." It's not. This is the truth and harsh reality of this game.
It's very dangerous and especially getting into that advanced category. And when you get into that advanced category, you start taking slint and growth with this right here, the slint pen, you're getting into risk territory.
And when you do that, you know what you're signing up for consciously. At least you should. If you don't, you better understand and start researching what you're taking prior to doing it, whether that be a research compound, a peptide, any type of hormone growth, insulin, and know how to combat these things. And even if you know what to do, if it's a very risky compound like slin and diuretics, I would just completely bypass it. I wouldn't take it. But if you're at that pro level, have oversight is all I have to say. Have someone with you in your corner that is literally watching you like a hawk throughout those times that you're pinning this stuff. That's your best point of action if you're going to do it regardless. But even if you have that and they're not really dialed and locked on what is happening to you, it can still be a problem. So very unfortunate stuff. But let's use this con as a pro to learn.
This is what we can do with all these negatives. All these people that have gone out, including this kid, learn from it. If you can extract anything from this kid's career, I'm assuming that he was a great dude. I'm assuming that he had a great career. He had something big building up for him. He was so young with such a big brand. And it's very unfortunate to see, but learn learn from it. Don't emulate the same mistakes that these guys make and you're going to put yourself in a lot better of a position as opposed to someone who's just winging it half-hazardly going through this journey not looking at this stuff, not researching anything. Don't let this be you. Insulin diuretics, cross it off your list. If you're a recreational user, you're never taking this stuff.
There's no point to. But again, once you get into that advanced category for the Olympia, you're going to have to, unfortunately. But it is what it is.
That's my two cents. Just don't emulate this. Be safe with what you're doing and you're going to set yourself up for success. I'll see you guys in the next one.
