Hard work is a beautiful thing. If you bust your ass, you work your ass off, you give it 100%. And you're smart, all your dreams will come true. I'm serious.
I built it from the ground up. No handouts for me. Outwork everybody. Work your freaking off. Blue collar. It is a beautiful thing. I don't care. You don't need to be a doctor or a lawyer. None of that. Work your ass off.
YouTube Tuesday morning. We just had a nice long holiday week. I want to sincerely thank all our veterans and especially all of our fullon soldiers that gave the ultimac ultimate sacrifice for our country. There's nobody more that has more respect than me than our military. I think you guys are amazing what you do for this country. I would have not had the beautiful weekend that I just had with my family if it wasn't for the freedoms that our military provide for us. So, thank you so much.
Our last video did really well.
Remember, two videos a week, one strictly trees and one video day-to-day operation. So, for all your tree guys that have been loyal watching us, don't worry. We got a tree video strictly trees coming out this week. We got Chris starting a pretty goodiz patio retaining wall job today. We got Andrew doing a repair job on some pavers that have some pitting. Ivon's got a bunch of random jobs this week. Uh, a lot of our fence orders for his jobs are not ready. It's a 4-day work week. It's going to be busy. We had a really good week last week and I want to have a really good 4 days this week. So, subscribe to the channel. Morning, Ivon.
>> First job is cobblestone. You need three buckets and fabric. Okay? And that's it for the first job. When finished, tell Carla I tell you the next job. Okay? So, you'll need your dump truck. I would take your trailer with some wheelbarls and fabric. Okay?
One of the things that I told the guys, we had I had a short day on Monday, was getting their ConX boxes all neat and organized cuz I'm having a meeting tomorrow about different things, parking, organization, all that. So, I want to check out their ConX, make sure they did what they were supposed to do.
And they did. It's nice, neat. They put shelving up. Looks like they built two new shelving. I don't know why they painted it white, but whatever. They do got to put on a little more uh brackets for rakes, shovels, like that. All this stuff should be inside there. Shouldn't be out.
>> Morning. Good morning.
>> Morning.
>> Good morning, Chris. We were told we were going to have the permit today for the pool jobs or Friday. We didn't get it. Carla scrambled find a job for you, which we did. Customer Carlo said seem to be a little frustrated. He'll get over it. Whatever.
>> Okay.
>> But you you're already gonna know who the customer is. I'll meet you over there. We're going to need the mini there. That's really about it. Today's excavating. There's an old patio we got to take apart.
>> Dominic >> theme of the week for you.
>> Wood chips right now. I need good two days of running chips.
>> Yep.
>> So, first David, you're going to cut the grass here.
>> Okay. Blow everything down really good.
Then you're going to go to Draper Long Pond, cut the grass. When you're done there, we're going to go to Delmare and start trimming bushes.
>> Okay.
>> Okay.
Heat.
Heat.
Ivan, >> how was your weekend?
>> Fantastic.
>> Fantastic.
>> Fantastic. I had a good weekend. I helped my brother move into his new house. I tried out a new barbecue sauce.
>> Nice. You know, it was it was good.
>> What's the deal for tires? Update me on tires.
>> Okay, so this one we got one that's blown. This one This one's losing tread on one of these. Um saw that the other day. That's all fixed. That's ready to go. Um >> it's got a blown tire.
>> Blown tire.
>> Okay, so out of service called McCarthy.
Let's get that going. Holy [ __ ] Look at this YouTube >> to recap. And it's missing. Uh >> ready to look back. Okay. So, obviously, let Rick know. Two trucks, so one trip makes it more sense.
>> Taking this out today.
>> M maybe not. Let me talk to Danny real quick.
>> They're all fueled up. They're ready to go. They don't have to fuel nothing.
>> So, I'm almost certain almost certain Quinn's going to be late today. He had the bachelor party, right? It was a super rough >> Are you guys taking it was pretty rough for him, I guess. So, it's going to be interesting to see how he's You he might even call in. Danny, we local.
>> We're all over the place.
>> Good morning. Hope you had a good long weekend. Were you guys complete savages?
>> Yeah, it was pretty rough.
>> Listen, >> I heard that you were racial profiled against in Florida.
>> Close.
>> How'd you feel about that?
>> Kind of like >> Quinn 100% is going to be late today. I heard. I mean, I'm I'll be shocked if he makes it to work based on the hangover that I told he would have. All right, >> it is official. Quinn is late.
Punishment one. Quinn, get ready, buddy.
>> I'm in.
>> [ __ ] I said this is only the beginning. I hope they put a letter so we >> Ivan, I told you it was only the beginning.
Let's open it up.
>> I can't wait till Ivan has his first fruit snack hangover.
>> It's already happening, man.
>> Carla just throws him out. She goes, "Fruit snacks. Two boxes.
This ising awesome, dude.
>> Here."
>> Okay. Who's it from? Um, a gift from you from Jamie Fen. Fien, right? That's how you say it. Fien or fien.
>> Fen fan.
>> Jamie. Fan. Thank you very much, sweetheart. I appreciate you.
>> What if it's a boy?
>> Well, whatever.
>> Jamie can go both ways. That Jamie, thank you so much. Ivan appreciates it.
>> It's Quinn. I I still don't think Quinn's here. He's Oh, no. He is. All right. We're going to go in in a minute.
Finally late.
It's going down now, Quinn.
>> It's going down.
>> You got what you wanted.
>> Oh, I sure did. How do you feel about this?
>> Uh, >> should I leave you in suspense what the punishment's going to be?
>> I thought it was going to be a dunk tank.
>> Maybe. We'll see.
>> All right.
>> I will let you know. What's up, Dad?
>> Not too much.
>> How you doing?
>> Six feet above. So, I got to fight the chance.
>> Um, >> what' you do over the weekend?
>> Sat with my thumb up my ass.
>> Sounds like a great weekend. Busy morning. Everybody's off doing their thing. Little bit of a later start with some of the crews than usual. I'm not surprised because every time we have like a long weekend, the guys all come in like dazed out, like you're confused and don't know. But I just, you know, a body at rest stays at rest. A body in motion stays in motion. It's very, very true. Um, we're heading to Chris's job right now just to make sure he's all good. Kind of give you guys a scope of the project, what he's doing. Quinn showed up late. So, I think we're going to do the dunk take. But I think what I'm going to do, I I'm going to buy a ton of bags of ice and dump it in the water so it's freezing cold. So, I got to look to where I can get a dunk tank.
If anybody locally knows where I can rent a dunk tank, comment below.
We're at Chris's job right now where he's going to be doing a patio and wall in the back. But I wanted to show a job that we did last year. We did this whole front walkway. We did this redid this step going in the front of the house and then we redid this whole retaining wall in the front. want to show you something that's really nice on the transitions like the step down rather than just, you know, a step, you know, has like a nice curve almost to it. Just dresses it up, makes the transition nicer. But again, this whole wall in the front we did last year. Obviously, the customers very happy. We're back doing the patio in the back. On this job, we're bringing in our mini excavator again, our K Cabota Mini.
We're bringing our Bobcat MT100 and eventually a New Holland. Probably the C232 skid steer. We'll be doing this job. We always based on what equipment is on, you know what the the job we're doing. The freaking K Cabota Mini. That thing is amazing. Like we love that thing. Probably on this job, I'm thinking 10 days.
How'd everything go today?
>> Smooth.
>> Smooth.
That's good news.
I'll see you tomorrow. We're pulling back up to uh the headquarters, the Zach cave. Ivan messaged me all excited.
Someone else sending some fruit snacks.
I've known Ivan for going on 30 years.
As long as I've known him, he always has fruit snacks with him. I don't think you guys realize like how happy this makes him. So, for those of you that are just starting to watch, Ivan loves fruit snacks. We asked our viewers like, "Hey, send this guy some fruit snacks."
Joking, but being serious. Well, he's consistently been getting fruit snacks.
He's as happy as can be. Thank you to everyone that has sent fruit snacks so far. I want to bury this kid in fruit snacks. Keep sending him fruit snacks.
Let's go check see how he's doing.
>> Yeah.
>> Got some more fruit snacks.
>> I got some more fruit snacks.
>> But no letter this time.
>> I'm going to show you the package that came. I mean, you know, YouTube, but I gotta tell you, I appreciate all the free gifts and my fan base is boosting.
That's really awesome. However, >> however, >> I'm going to start looking like a fruit snack if you guys keep sending them to me. I mean, >> no, keep sending a whole drawer.
>> Don't Don't stop sending this kid fruit snap. I want my plan is to put like one of those midi swimming pools and have Ivan in it swimming in fruit fruit snacks.
>> They should do a snow >> or or a snow angel. There's no there is no uh no letter. So >> it's anonymous. I think I got my summer supply.
>> No.
Are you kidding me, Ivan?
You'll be out of freaking fruit snacks within two weeks easily. Let's go see uh with ZK Fence and his bachelor party, his take on things.
>> What up, >> dude? I was expecting a call from you at 7:00 this morning talking about your raging bachelorette party.
>> It was >> or bachelor party.
>> It was It was pretty serious to say the least.
>> No fist fights.
>> No fist fights.
>> Nobody got arrested.
>> Nobody got arrested.
>> Then how the hell did you have a good time? just jump got after just swam enjoyed the beach.
>> How did Zach feel about getting thrown in the water asleep?
>> He did not like that. See the video?
>> Yeah, he looked he genuinely looked pissed off.
>> He was so mad. He was like, "Come on, dude. Come on." He's sleeping.
>> Still you still look a little uh not not with it.
>> I know. It took me a couple days to recover.
>> All right.
>> All right.
>> I'll talk to you later.
>> I'll take a minute. I'll show you guys some of our equipment for skid steers.
We run New Holland. I've had them for 15 years, maybe longer. I've had the best luck you could possibly have with New Holland. This machine is a C345 track machine. And then we have another track M machine that is a 232 over here. This guy right here, one of our loaders. This is a Kamasu. This is a W250, I believe, up on the mound or hill over there that we use to load chips. That's another case loader. That's a big machine.
That's bigger than the Kamasu.
So, one of the things that we do is when we do digouts for patios and stuff like that, if it's decent soil, we bring it back here. We stockpile it here. And like just to show you like so we did a dig out for a foundation for a foundation um footing and wall that had to go in and it was all clay. We dug it all out. They you know you don't want to obviously back fill with clay. So we removed all the clay. We came to our stockpile where it's a nice sandy lom back filled it and I don't got to pay a company to bring me in sand to back fill all of our like pa product and stuff like that. That's all clean fill. Once we get this area full, we'll literally fill up the Kenworth and there's a site that we dump it on. Same thing with all the grass and all this crap. You know, we'll now we'll just let it keep breaking down, turn it into compost. The one thing we are so behind on this year and it's getting to be pretty frustrating is our wood chips. This pile should be gone. There's still I mean this goes way back. Dominic's done like 15 loads over the last 2 weeks. It's just not enough. It's It's you know, Dominic gets pulled in a lot of different directions and I'm hoping this week I mean I'm honestly hoping he'll get 10 more loads in this week minimum because all this mulch goes to a processor that turns it into bag mulch and there's a season for it and you basically got to bring them as much as your chips as you possibly can and then they shut down and then we rebuild back up to, you know, 100 truckloads or whatever, you know, probably 150 realistically and then it's back open.
and we bring them and we haul it. You know, I've showed this before. This is a Western Star. It's our tractor trailer.
You know, we put about 100 yards at a time on on there. I really hope that we can get into a rhythm and because honestly, they'll probably going to shut down July and I'm going to say we have probably 60 to 70 truckloads there right now with chips coming in every single day. This machine over here, this is another New Holland. This is a wheel machine. We use this for loading products sometimes. This is a L1 180.
2010 I've had this original everything.
I mean, the M I think the worst thing that's happened to this is hydraulic lines. Knock on wood. This is an awesome machine. It's been a really good machine. We also have another uh wheel loader that is a New Holland W50. That's a smaller machine. We use that also to load aggregates. We use it to load pavers, all that stuff. But we got Raone over here. He's pressure washing the one excavator. I think it's an E50. This is our only Bobcat excavator. Yes, it's an E50. Been very good. very happy.
We are going to uh step it up, I think, and get a bigger excavator next year. We also have the Kamasu mini excavator, which we love. That's on a site right now. This is a pretty good machine. It's 2024 Audi S5. Gets a lot, you know, good use.
Does the job. That right there, that is our Avant 528 wheel loader. Ivan's doing work on that.
We're going to talk to him about that in a minute. We got our BB302 fin bark blower.
Been an awesome machine. It's got the K Cabota diesel in it. They run forever.
Tons of Fords. The the yard's empty right now. All the guys are out working.
For chippers, we got a 21 XP and 18 XP.
I'm actually going to probably be trading in the 21 XP and I'm getting two 19 XPS. Not happy with the 21. Just too many issues. This is a Bobcat L28. I got two of these. Ivan, that gasket's falling off.
>> Gas >> on the door. Let's get that fixed, please. We got our tire fixed on the Kenworth. Did the tire get fixed on the bucket, too?
>> It should. I I haven't heard nothing from Seth. So, >> yeah. So, we had road service come in today. We had to do two tires on uh there's a lot more equipment. Giving you guys just a quick little glance at what we're working with. Here comes Who's this? All right. So, this is Adam. We got our stump grinder. That's the uh what the is it? A GS 500 or something? I don't know.
>> Something like that.
>> I can't keep track of all this [ __ ] >> The reason why there was no bolt there cuz it was stripped out.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. There's something stuck in there.
And this one's stripped out as well.
>> Can you retap it?
>> That's what I'm going to do. That's what I'm going to have to do. Problem is I got I got to >> Oh, dude. Freaking weld the damn thing on there.
>> Well, that's the thing. Dan is not going to be able to come over here till Friday.
>> And you want this thing to >> Well, I mean Well, I don't know if they're going to use it tomorrow, but if you want to just at least screw that in, have Dan come back and just freaking weld it on there.
>> Probably not a bad plan. How does that [ __ ] get broke? I mean, >> I don't know. But uh at this point just weld the damn thing. We got we run X mark 60 and zero turns.
>> We used to run.
>> We used to Yeah, but X mark is a better machine, but I'm not happy with those either. Zero turns are the biggest freaking money pits. It's They make me sick to my stomach. See, we got trucks rolling back in. I think this is a 2018 F550 diesel. I want to say this is a 23 450 gas. What's up, Poppy?
>> How we doing?
>> Yvon's coming back in. This is a 350.
Don't know what year it is. This is a 2020. 350 gas. It's a good truck. We're happy with it. We got another Oh, there's another pickup. That's a 350. I think that's a 2022.
350. We got our Kenworth tandem axle.
Uh, that's a 2000. Truck is awesome.
This is a Freight Liner chipper truck.
This is a brand new crane, Peterbuilt, 45 ton. It's brand spanking new. We ordered it back in September. Just came in. And there's still a lot of a lot of trucks that are out. I think every day we run I think there's like 14 trucks on the road, I want to say, roughly. And then we have a couple backup trucks that stay in, don't get sent out. But yeah, I mean, there's a quick little look at some of our equipment, what we run on a daily basis. If you're new to the channel and you're not subscribed, subscribe to the freaking channel because you're going to love it. Period.
And if you love the channel, there's no reason why you shouldn't be subscribed and send Ivan Fruit Snacks. I'm showing YouTube all the equipment and all the things that you got to keep running.
Yeah, it's a lot, but uh I try to just pace myself. I don't uh I don't overwhelm myself. If I do get overwhelmed, I eat some fruit snacks and just chill out for a minute.
>> Where Ivan will really get overwhelmed is if he is overwhelmed and he needs like a meditation session and he doesn't have fruit snacks, >> right? It's Tuesday, day coming to an end. I got like three quotes that I got to go meet clients for for it being a long weekend and the guys usually come in like all days and confused.
Everything's going pretty smooth today.
But I want to finish strong, have a good 4 day work week. Every weekend I got guys out. I don't go out. I did it for years and years and years. If there's one thing I could share with everybody right now that watches our channel, and I hope that a lot of the young guys that maybe haven't seen our channel will come back and they'll find this moment in this video. Hard work is a beautiful thing. If you bust your ass, you work your ass off, you give it 100%, and you're smart, you build your company the right way, you build your brand, you take good care of your employees, all your dreams will come true. I'm serious.
Hard work. I love hard work. I appreciate hard work. I built it from the ground up. No hands out handouts for me. Everything 100% on my own. And I I respect hard work so much. So, if you're just starting your company, work your ass off. Work your ass off. Outwork everybody. Take good care of your customers. Treat your brand as it's the most important thing in your life and it will pay off. I work between 70 and 90 hours a week. That is no exaggeration.
For 12 years straight and I'm able now at 42, I take weekends off. I take long weekends. I got a beautiful home up north I go to that I get to wind down and spend time with my family and it's all because of hard work. So the point of this work your freaking offer is a beautiful thing. It is a beautiful thing. I don't care. You don't need to be a doctor or a lawyer. None of that.
You're starting your own company. Work your ass off. If you work for a company, work your ass off for that company cuz if it's a good owner, they're going to recognize it and they're going to take care of you. Work your ass off and subscribe to the channel and send Ivan Fruit Snack. Well, I think that's going to cut it for our Tuesday.
>> Yep.
>> It's a good Tuesday.
>> Thanks for the fruit snacks >> and uh we'll see you tomorrow.
>> All right, Thursday. I don't even know where to start. yesterday turned into, bleep this out, a [ __ ] disaster.
Disaster. For the most part, you guys see things going great and good. And I said in yesterday's video, I'm telling you, something's going to go wrong. So, here's what happened. I get a call from Danny. Matt, chipper's down. Don't know what's going on. Something electrical.
It's shut off. Okay. Look it over. Try to figure it out. If you can't figure it out, come back, get another chipper.
Couldn't figure it out. They come back, get another chipper. Ryan, great worker, lot to learn, makes probably one of the most bonehead moves you could possibly make. He leaves the yard without putting a trailer pin on the trailer or on the chipper. Chipper pops off the truck on a freaking highway. Thank god the safety chains held it in place. Chipper's, you know, flying all over. He gets pulled over side of the road safely. Danny calls me up, tells me that. I said, "Get guys there to help him get it reconnected back on. Minor damage, a little bit to the toolbox, to the chipper. That's it." Danny, keep me posted. Let me know what's going on.
Dominic calls me. He's hauling chips all day in the tractor trailer. Matt, tractor trailer just died out. Died out on me on the side. I'm on the side of 787. Broke down. All right. Call our road mechanic. guys get to get to Ryan help him get back on. Isaiah is now on the side of the road was helping Ryan.
The battery dies on his truck. It was a [ __ ] disaster. One thing after another. Hands down. Probably the worst day financially I've ever had on the tree end of the business. What are you going to do? Today's a new day. We got everything up and going. Tractor trailer needs some work. At the end of the day, everyone was safe. Everything was good.
day part of business. Move on. Just wanted to let you guys know that. Let's get this day started. What's up, Dom?
>> So, you wipe this clean. I suck this back in the chipper, and this is what comes out.
>> Okay. Show Ivan.
>> Yep.
>> Show Ivan.
>> I don't know where he was.
>> Okay. I don't change oil on the trucks.
Show that guy over there.
>> Buenos Diaz. Okay. Today, we're starting a job in Delmare. Is the Chris has the mini excavator, right? Is he still using it? No, he >> he's finished.
>> Okay. You're definitely going to want to use the uh mini excavator on this job.
>> We're going to need a skid steer. We're going to need the mini. That's what we need for now. I'm going to follow You're going to follow me to the job. I'm going to get you guys started.
>> It's a nice job. Not too big, but a lot of little detail. Let me know when you're ready. Okay. I'll meet I'll go with you.
Good morning, Poppy.
>> Diaz, David. Um, did we do Van Allen last week?
>> Last Saturday.
>> Last Saturday.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. Let's do that. Call me when you're done. If there's time, we're going to go put the flowers at the office at Delmare. Okay. So, go do all that stuff.
Let me know when you're done.
>> One tree crew going out today. Chris is doing good on his job. Andrew's starting a new job. Ivan's starting a new fence job. It's Thursday. I'm a little frustrated. You know, I'm not stressed.
Don't let this fool you. If I'm breathing, I'm happy. I don't I don't [ __ ] about like what happened yesterday. It's frustrating cuz it's preventable. Everything that happened yesterday beside, you know, even Isaiah, you know, he left the freaking lights on on his truck with it shut off, killed the battery. The only thing that was unpreventable is the tractor trailer, but everything else shouldn't have happened. So, I'm just frustrated this morning. Life goes on. You got to keep moving. All in all, the amount of equipment that we run, the amount of guys that we run, the [ __ ] that we do on a daily basis, it's minor, but things like that can't happen.
Good morning, Isaiah.
>> Morning.
>> How you doing?
>> Doing good.
>> How do you like those new shirts?
They're >> all right.
>> All right.
>> You're not even wearing one. I know >> you don't like them.
>> I don't know. I guess I'm just used to these ones.
>> All right. All right.
>> I feel like, you know, those will be nice. You know, >> I love these shirts.
>> Not bad.
>> One crew today.
>> One crew. Everything seems pretty straightforward.
>> Local, not local.
>> Local. Warsville. Delar.
>> Okay. I talked to Ryan yesterday. We got to keep an eye on him. We got to keep an eye on him. Obviously, Ryan means well.
He's new. He's learning. Uh, I think we've given him a little too much freedom. So, let's just be a little bit repetitive with him in terms of safety, making sure he double checks everything.
He's got Dominic just did a pre-trip with them, which is good. Keep an eye on them. All right.
I got new shoes.
Uh, I've actually had these in my closet for like 6 months. Good morning.
>> Good morning.
>> How are you? Good. You miss your brother yet? You miss him? Yeah.
>> Your brother's a [ __ ] Alberto, you're a mother hanging out in freaking Mexico drinking freaking margaritas.
That's okay. Alberto is here all winter.
All right. So, Ivonne, we're doing fence. Let's get your machine on your truck, the dingo, the trailer. Once Quinn gets here, we will uh get the fence and everything loaded. Okay. He's been kicking ass. Ivonne has been kicking ass. He's been a freaking Oh my god. I wish that I we could show half the [ __ ] this kid's been doing. I mean, he's been just banging work out nonstop.
Carla, she's the one we want keep happy cuz we got to make sure the money's coming in to pay for all this [ __ ] but he's been doing really, really good.
David today is just mowing for the day.
We started trimming this week. Next week's going to be a heavy week of trimming. Overall, yesterday sucked, but things are going good. Things are going really good. Also, I take back what I said, how it's been a little quiet on the hardscape end of things. I don't know what the hell my brain was thinking when I said that. I had a stack of quotes that I had to write up. I've I've sent out so many quotes on hardcaping and uh fence installs this week. It's been crazy. So, that's a good thing. I know we've had some pretty nice jobs come back. We got a lot of work. So, you want to subscribe to the channel. You want to keep watching. You want to hit the like button. You want to make SevenZox YouTube the most badass bluecollar YouTube channel on all of social media. I also hope you guys like the way we did our new videos, which was separating the trees from the landscape day-to-day operation. Based on analytics, you guys liked it because the videos are doing great.
This >> is Andrew. That's 140.
>> Nice to meet you.
>> Obviously, when I'm not around, if you need anything, these guys are more than capable to >> answer any questions or whatever. So, what I'm going to do right now do is the portaotty isn't here, but I have a door in the back. I'll open up the door. You guys are welcome use the bathroom.
There's a microwave in the house. If you need it, let me know. Just take your shoes off and you can use it.
>> Thank you.
>> Um, yeah. If you need anything, waters, anything, just yell paint.
>> All right. So, we're coming off. We're starting on this corner. Okay, Andrew.
Like this.
All right.
>> Okay.
>> That's a good distance. We're coming out.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> Yes, please.
coming straight parallel with this.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
That's all pavers. Okay.
>> Yeah. See how I curved it in? Just keep it straight and then go like that. So like keep keep the distance like or the spacing parallel with the house.
>> Okay.
>> Yep. Coming through here.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
So, we're going to be even with the garage.
>> Oh, okay.
>> Okay. With the pavers, >> this one, this corner was also >> this this is going to be cap stone edging here.
>> Oh, >> there's going to be some We just It's going to make it easier.
>> Uhhuh.
>> To soften this rather than having the PA here. It's going to make it easier to have this corner.
>> Yeah. So, when you do the edging, leave it like 4 in above the pavers. Okay. At least four inches.
>> John, of how I have this so far, what do you think?
>> Yeah, that's exactly what I thought I was gonna do.
>> And then what do you want to do in this corner? Do you want We could do pavers all the way in or we could do kind of like what we're doing in that corner.
>> I think that that kind of is bring it is it's going to have that look here. It'll look >> So, same thing the edging. This will be for plants here. All these plants are coming out. The tree staying.
>> Okay. Okay.
>> Uhhuh.
>> I'm almost positive we have the big blackburn steps.
>> Uhhuh.
>> Okay. We're doing one right there. And you want another one over there, too, don't you? So, the Blackburn steps on each side. No. One piece probably centered, I would say, between this footing and this pole.
>> Centered in there.
>> And then the other step centered between here and here.
>> Okay. It's This is the limestone Corey threepiece regular.
>> Okay.
>> 4 and 12 by 9 coal for the border. The cap edging split face coal.
>> Cool.
>> Yeah. Any questions?
>> Me?
>> Yeah. Andrew.
>> No.
>> All right.
Just pulled up to Ivon's job. All right, Ivonne. So, this fence is coming out all right here across the back down the side.
Taking it out. Putting everything new.
There's one gate for right there.
Finished right here. Okay. The fence, the basuda goes to the port. All right.
Pretty easy, straightforward job for Yvon. These are the best jobs. I don't care. They don't got to be pretty. They don't got to be fancy, but I want to be profitable. He'll get this done today, no problem. Like I said earlier in the video, Yvon has been crushing it for us.
Really, really good job. Getting a lot of work done, making the company money.
We'll check back in at some point with Yvon later on in this job. Now we got some more running around to do.
Those of you who've been watching consistently, you're going to remember this project. We haven't come yet to do a final, you know, shot on it. It's all done. Tyra seated. Grass hasn't come in yet. We'll do a little bit of a recap.
There was nothing here. We uh built the raised patio area up top and you know also a raised patio down below. This is limestone corey blend three-piece XL 6x9 coal border crusader coal caps all Cambridge product. We did the nice capstone edging around over here. We did the column lights. So I constantly talk to you guys about like our quality of work and our craftsmanship. this border around the fireplace. No gaps. Every single one of those stones have been cut. Also, little detail that no one else would ever notice where this Crusader cap butts up against the siding. It's notched right around so the cap sits nice and flush up against the siding.
Over here, we did the stone cap edging.
Again, this is retaining wall block cap.
You know, look at the radius in these caps. Every one of those is mitered and we back filled it with the stone. Makes the property just look really, really nice, clean, and groomed, well-maintained. That's what I like about this particular customer that we deal with. He doesn't mind spending a little bit extra money to have his property perfect and beautiful.
Beautiful, beautiful project. Again, not a big project, but very, very nice. I'm happy with how it came out. Customers very happy with how it came out. I'm going to let Liza do some filming and show you guys this project from beginning to end.
Heat. Heat.
Heat up here.
We just rolled up to another uh hardcape job that was completed last week. This was Andrew's job. I put on this job for time frame, I put between I think five and six days. and Andrew did it in like 4 and 1/2 just over 4 and 1/2 days.
We'll call it five, but nice retaining wall job. This hill we dug back about 7 ft or so. It was basically a slope starting right at this patio. We dug it back. Highest point of the wall 6 1/2 ft. It's got nice even distributed step downs. Tapers into the hillside. Another beautiful job done by sevenox. It just I always like to come back, make sure everything's good. Even though I know it's going to be good, it's just in my blood to always always make sure things are topnotch. So, beautiful job and we are on to the next one.
So, we've done three out of the five estimates so far today. Um, all three of them really good estimates. I would want all three of them. Now, we got to head back to the office. We're going to give Quinn all the information cuz what I do is I mean I go to the the site, I do my measurements, meet with the customers, get everything all figured out, bring back all the info to Quinn where they figure out all the material needed for the job. I'll figure out the labor. So, basically what they'll do is they'll get all the material figured out. They'll email it to me and then back in my home office, I will figure out the total cost of the job. That's what I did. I got up 4:00 this morning and from 4 to 6 in the morning, I worked on quotes that I've done over the last 10 days or so. And that's when I realize I'm, you know, I don't know why I said in the last video, you know, it's been a little quiet for hardcape. I sitting down doing estimates. I'm like, "Holy [ __ ] there's a lot of freaking good quotes I've done." Be interested to see what comes back. A nice job came back yesterday.
Like a $36,000 job came in yesterday that I did a couple weeks ago. I bet you this morning I worked up a couple hundred,000 in bids between hardscaping, fence insulation, stuff like that. So, lot of good work. Going to get Quinn this stuff and finish out the day. Back at the office. Gonna price out some stuff.
We'll give Quinn info. We got the Kenworth rolling in.
I got I got stuff to add to your pile, buddy.
Are >> those firecrackers?
>> Yep.
>> Where'd you get those from?
>> You got a lighter.
So, there's no way someone's bringing firecrackers in my office and I'm not trying to have some fun with it. I gotta try to sneak around where Ivan doesn't see me. Maybe you can distract him and then I'm just going to throw him and see his reaction. So, the trick is right now get to him without him seeing me.

>> Come on.
