When a company engages in serious misconduct like stealing a $200,000 collection, the resulting negative press can spread virally through mainstream media and social platforms, causing irreversible reputational damage that cannot be recovered regardless of the company's attempts to mitigate the situation.

Bricks and Minifigs Just Destroyed Their Own Business...追加:
The bricks and minig situation is out of control. And honestly, at this point, Bricks and Minigs as a company is cooked. There's no coming back from this. But if you somehow don't know what I'm talking about, basically the short of it is this man named Brian Mancel made a consignment deal with this Bricks and Minifigs location in Salem to sell off his father's $200,000 Lego collection. Basically, the old store owners that made an agreement with Brian Mancel were kind of kicked out for some new store owners, and the new store owners didn't honor the deal, and basically just stole all the remaining Lego from the $200,000 collection. And then this YouTuber, Reckless Ben, did an entire investigation, has made multiple videos at this point. He still has multiple that he hasn't even published, but he also made some response videos to the whole situation, and it is honestly getting pretty insane. Now, if you're up to speed now, then generally know what's going on. That's the short of it. A ton of other stuff is going on with this situation, but today's video won't be getting into the nitty-gritty of the whole situation. It'll actually be looking at just how popular this is getting, how mainstream it's getting, how many different people have covered this situation and just how unreoverable Bricks and Minigs reputation is at this point. So, starting off yesterday, Crystal, the previous um owner of the store location, made a video on YouTube speaking out against Brinks and Minigs and talking about her side of the story.
Um her husband was also in it. I think they co-owned the location together before they were of course kicked out.
And I'm guessing she of course exposed a few new facts on the whole situation and gave her a side of the story and some good insight that we wouldn't normally get from an outside source. Anyway, that's not the most insane part.
Although that does hurt the situation for Bricks and May figs. It hurts them for sure. But that being said, Moist Critical, one of the biggest, if not the biggest commentary YouTubers ever, has now made three videos on this topic. He made two videos in one day a couple days ago. And just today, he made a third video, which is honestly insane because Moist Critical basically once he makes a video about something, it's over.
Everyone knows the topic because he is the biggest commentary YouTuber out there to my knowledge. And his videos have garnered millions of views on this topic. And he has also probably brought Reckless Ben a ton of attention.
Reckless Ben's first video has over 1.6 million views, which is a lot for uh his channel and basically any video. But still, that is an outperformer for his channel for sure. And one of Reckless Ben's other videos is one of the most hyped videos on YouTube, which basically means it's trending. And not only has Moist Critical covered this three times, mind you, but other YouTubers like Asmin Gold, some other attorney YouTubers, and basically a bunch of other mainstream YouTubers that are completely outside of the LEGO space have been covering this.
Not to mention a ton of other LEGO YouTubers thankfully, have started speaking up about this. Not only on YouTube, I've seen a bunch of people talking about it on Instagram, Tik Tok, everywhere about this insane situation.
This situation has spread like wildfire, especially since Moist Critical made his content on it. That is what I think really sparked this and now basically everyone you know is making content on this because it is just an insane situation. And not only that, I've of course seen countless online news articles surrounding this topic. And even with all of this in mind, you might be wondering, okay, you know, maybe the situation is getting a lot of attention, but will this actually do anything? Will bricks and mini figs be able to operate like normal? Will your average person really even know what's going on? And I think we have some pretty solid evidence that this is impacting Bricks and Minigs a ton already because this brand on Instagram who isn't affiliated with Bricks and Minifigs whatsoever, his name is Bricks and Figs DE. He is in Germany, okay? Not even in the United States. And he is getting reviewbombed. People are thinking he's affiliated with Bricks and Minigs and reviewbombing his store. He sells custom like Lego items. He has nothing to do with Bricks and Minifigs at all. He is not affiliated with them at all. But just because he has a similar name, people are reviewbombing him. Now, when you look at the fact that people are review bombing his store, you have to assume basically every Bricks and Miniigs location is getting reviewbombed completely because to be honest, your average person does not really, you know, make the connection that most of these franchisee owners are probably innocent because the situation is so bad. Your average Joe probably just cares about the company as a whole suffering. And that is what is happening here because bricks and mini figs already had to make a response a kind of chatgpt you know very corporate response to try to um you know maybe mitigate some of the negative press but it really didn't help anything. Honestly it probably even made it worse bringing more attention to the situation giving people more content to make about this topic. And if you check Google Trends and you know search bricks and mini figs or bricks and mini figs lawsuit or similar terms you will see the situation is trending. The bricks and mini figs lawsuit term uh for the search results itself actually on May 26th reached a high of 100. Basically the maximum that Google trends goes up to. So this is a situation that has hit the mainstream.
It is going viral. It is trending. It is out there. And that is the worst thing for a business, any business getting negative press that is that popular.
Bricks and Mini Figs is over. I mean, there's no way they can recover from this. It's one thing if a YouTuber makes a couple videos and they do really well and they give you some negative press and then you can try to copyright strike them, get them removed, censor them. But it's another thing when every big YouTuber, all these mainstream YouTubers are all making videos on this and especially YouTubers like Moisty Critical and Asmin Gold, I'm pretty sure they have the resources. If they had to, they could fight legally. They could, you know, fight this. They have YouTube representatives. They have people in their corner basically that prevent Bricks and Minifigs from bullying them because they have a bigger pocketbook because they probably don't have a bigger pocketbook in some instances, which means they can't just bully them out. They actually have to face the facts, face all the backlash. And honestly, this is really unfortunate because Bricks and Minifigs corporate basically sacrificed their entire company just to try and steal $200,000 worth of Lego. They didn't just close an entire location, which I think brings them like up to a million dollars a year in revenue somewhere around that, but they basically sacrificed the reputation of their entire company, which no doubt makes tens of millions of dollars if I had to guess because they have a lot of locations in the United States and they're the most popular secondhand LEGO store. So, with that being said, yeah, it just wasn't a wise situation. This is a really good lesson. If you do wrong to someone this bad, this negatively, if you steal $200,000 from someone and you think you can get away with it, the truth often prevails. Not because it's just the right thing, not because it's just the truth, not because you did something really, really wrong necessarily, but because I think a lot of people have a sense of justice, especially in the LEGO community, which is centered around kids. And I feel like, you know, in your average online space, the LEGO community probably has um more people that care about justice and care about the right thing and people having to face accountability for the wrong things they do. So, the fact that this happened in the LEGO community as well, I think so many people just see this and they have a sense of justice, some sense of justice, so they need right to be done on Brian Menel's side of things and his whole family. So, basically, it's over for Bricks and Many Figs. There's no way for them to come back with this. They can't bully people into the ground. They can't censor anyone. The genie is already out of the bottle. It's basically over. And the negative press they are already getting.
It is bad. There's no recovering from this. It's unfortunate. A lot of these store owners that have nothing to do with this controversy are also going to suffer. They invest a lot into their different locations and yeah, they have nothing to do with this whole situation except the name Bricks and Miniigs.
Honestly, I think some franchises might just start disassociating with Bricks and Mini Figs. Maybe changing their store name, if that's even possible, if they can do that. I'm not entirely sure how that works. But yeah, basically Bricks and Mini Figs is cooked forever.
There's no coming back from this. And Reckless Ben still hasn't even posted his part two and part three of this series. And once he does, no doubt Moist Critical is going to cover that. Other big YouTubers are going to cover that.
This situation is long from over. And it has already, I bet you, like really impacted Bricks and Mini Figs business.
I'm sure like every location around the country is getting review bombed and it's basically over. The word has spread and it is over for Bricks and Mini Figs.
So, it's unfortunate for all the innocent people caught in this. But remember, it's not our fault. It's not people's fault for review bombing all these different locations and being rightfully mad about the situation in Bricks and Mini Fig Company as a whole.
All of these different store owners, they are getting screwed over from Bricks and Miniigs Corporate. If Bricks and Mini Figs Corporate didn't do this whole scandal, then all these different store owners that are innocent wouldn't have to suffer. Bricks and Mini Figs basically sacrificed tens of millions of dollars, a ton of different people working under them, tons of different store owners that are doing everything right just so they could make $200,000 in the short run. And they're probably going to lose millions, tens of millions. I mean, this is the kind of thing that destroys a company completely. So, it is probably over for Bricks and Minigs. But, let me know in the comments down below what you think will happen with the company and how you think the situation is going to progress further. And definitely follow the situation on Reckless Ben's channel because I think he will post a GoFundMe eventually. So, I definitely want any support you guys can bring um to Brian Menel's family to help compensate him for the Lego collection and all the damages and all the stress it's caused him. So definitely follow Reckless Ben's channel if you're going to follow one person's channel for all of the news regarding the situation because I think he'll cover everything. He is the main YouTuber doing this. So yeah, with that being said, I will see you all in the next
