Improve Your English Fast | Daily Routine in America | Beginner English
Added:Hello everyone.
Welcome back to Speak English Fast.
I am very happy you are here today. In this lesson, we will practice English through a simple daily routine story.
This story uses easy American English.
Speak slowly. Listen carefully. And repeat after me. Let's begin. I live in a small apartment in America. Every morning, I wake up at 6:30 a.m. My alarm rings.
I open my eyes slowly. I stretch my arms.
And I take a deep breath.
It is a new day.
I get out of bed. I walk to the bathroom. I wash my face.
I brush my teeth. And I look in the mirror. I feel awake now. Then I go to the kitchen. I drink a glass of water.
This helps me start my day. After that, I make breakfast. Today, I make eggs and toast. I also make a cup of coffee. The smell of coffee fills the kitchen.
I sit at the table and enjoy my breakfast.
While eating, I check my phone. I read a few messages.
I look at the weather.
The weather is sunny today. That makes me happy. After breakfast, I get dressed.
I put on a clean shirt. I wear comfortable shoes.
Then I pack my bag. I make sure I have everything I need. My phone, my wallet, my keys, and my water bottle.
Now, I am ready to leave. I lock the door and walk outside. The morning air feels fresh.
Birds are singing. People are walking their dogs.
Some people are jogging.
Others are driving to work. The city is waking up. I walk to the bus stop. The bus arrives on time.
I get on the bus and find a seat near the window.
I look outside.
Cars move along the streets.
People hurry to their jobs.
Everyone seems busy.
After 20 minutes, I arrive at work. I walk into the building and greet my coworkers.
Good morning.
They smile and reply, "Good morning."
I sit at my desk.
I turn on my computer and begin working.
The morning passes quickly.
I answer emails, attend meetings, and complete important tasks.
Around noon, it is time for lunch.
I go to a nearby cafe.
I order a sandwich and a drink.
The cafe is busy.
Many workers are there.
I find a table and enjoy my meal.
Lunch gives me energy.
After lunch, I return to work.
The afternoon is productive.
I finish my projects and prepare for tomorrow.
At 5:00 p.m., my work day ends.
I shut down my computer and say goodbye to my coworkers.
"See you tomorrow." Then I leave the office.
Outside, the weather is still nice.
Sometimes, I go to the gym after work.
Exercise helps me stay healthy.
Today, I walk on the treadmill. Then I do some light exercises.
After about an hour, I feel great. Now it is time to go home. I take the bus again. The evening traffic is heavier, but I do not mind. I listen to music and relax.
When I arrive home, I change my clothes.
Then I start preparing dinner. Tonight, I cook chicken, rice, and vegetables.
The food smells delicious.
I sit down and eat.
Dinner is one of my favorite parts of the day.
After dinner, I clean the kitchen.
I wash the dishes and wipe the counter.
I like keeping my apartment clean.
Later, I relax on the couch.
Sometimes, I watch TV.
Sometimes, I read a book.
And sometimes, I practice English.
Learning English every day is important.
Even a little practice helps.
Around 9:00 p.m., I call my family.
We talk about our day.
I enjoy hearing their voices.
After the call, I prepare for bed.
I brush my teeth, wash my face, and put on comfortable clothes.
Then I get into bed. Before sleeping, I think about my day.
I feel thankful.
I worked hard.
I stayed healthy. And I learned something new. At 10:00 p.m., I turn off the light. The room becomes quiet.
I close my eyes and slowly fall asleep. Tomorrow will be another new day.
Now repeat after me.
I wake up early.
I brush my teeth. I eat breakfast.
I go to work.
I have lunch.
I exercise after work.
I cook dinner.
I practice English.
I talk to my family.
I go to bed at night. Excellent job.
Keep practicing every day.
Listen.
Repeat.
And speak English with confidence.
Thank you for learning with me today.
See you in the next lesson.
Take care.
Goodbye. Thanks for watching.
