When language fragments human identity by reducing mothers and fathers to mere functions (guardians, legal figures) rather than whole connected beings, this linguistic fragmentation leads to a corresponding fragmentation of the body, where humans are reduced to constituent processes like surrogacy, reproductive donation, and organ harvesting, ultimately degrading the value placed on humans as whole beings.

Fragmentation of Language Leads to Fragmentation of the Body - Language MattersAdded:
We actually have this kind of fragmentation of language that's happening, but if this leads to a fragmentation of the body, it's one and the same. So, you look at words that are used to describe mothers no longer exist as a whole. You just are a series of functions, and your relationship to your child is defined as as you're just a parent. So, you know, a guardian, somebody legal, not somebody fundamentally connected to their child. And the same for fathers as well, I would say. You know, that that bond of of being a whole uh connected human is gone. And And this can lead to a facilitate then the reduction of everyone into constituent processes. So, we have surrogacy where you can rent a room, and you have porn and prostitution where you can rent, you know, a sexual function.
We have sperm and egg donation where where you your genetic material is donated and and and used somewhere else to create a child which you you don't know or have any bond.
Um and organ harvesting. I just put that in at the end. I know it's not really relevant today, but it's just it's part of that slowly leads where somethings aren't maybe considered that they have started from a good place, but now we have completely broken down and that and that value that is placed on on us as whole humans is somehow degraded by these processes that reduce us.
