[00:00:00]So, first off, health officials worldwide keep stressing, but the the hantavirus um the risk remains low to the general public. With that said, the first American has tested positive for hantavirus and was transported to Nebraska overnight along with the 17 other Americans who were evacuated from the MV Hondius cruise ship. Now, this facility housing the Americans who were on the ship, one of the most advanced infectious disease facilities in the entire country. The one American that did test positive, now in Nebraska's biocontainment unit. Another passenger actually developed mild symptoms. Uh the other Americans are being assessed.

So, now this is really important that we really offer testing to everybody. The incubation period is between 1 and 8 weeks. You got to remember this, too. There were passengers that left the MV Hondius prior to people knowing about the outbreak. They're being monitored in states like Texas, Georgia, Arizona, Virginia, and California, as well. So far, none have tested positive or shown any signs of any symptoms.
