[00:00:00]Provision is getting ready to come into your home. You're getting ready to have some things come into your hands that you've been praying and believing God for, but you have to save in order for you to maintain and sustain the blessing that God is bringing into your life this season.

[00:00:21]>> Saving is not a lack mindset. It's a wisdom mindset. It's an obedience mindset. It's a preparation mindset. And when you get money into your hands and you immediately let it leave your hands, you train yourself to not save. You train yourself to constantly be spending, to constantly be doing. I did a message about this yesterday and this is a strong followup because we need to make this practical. We need to take this into practical action as it relates to holding on to what it is that God gives us. Not hoarding, not holding out of fear, but saving out of preparation and wisdom. Listen, when God gives you a word, you have to steward that word. I talked about that yesterday as well. And so, the word is stop buying, stop spending so much in this season. God is bringing some things into your hands and he wants to teach you how to steward what he brings into your life. Listen, you don't know what's around the corner.

[00:01:32]You don't know what's going to happen two years from now. It's not about fear.

[00:01:36]It's about using wisdom. It's about being prepared. Okay? If you would have known that COVID was going to happen, right? and jobs were going to be wiped out and all kinds of things were going to be just a little bit chaotic. You would have had the foresight and the wisdom to prepare, right? But a lot of times we don't have to wait for the thing to happen, for the ball to drop.

[00:02:00]We can just go based off of the word that the Lord gives us. That it's time to save. That it's time to stop spending. That it's time to steward what he's given us because he knows what's around the corner. He sees what we cannot. And many times God tries to prepare us for things so that we don't have to run into situations of lack, situations where we're having to borrow, situations where we're having to beg, situations where we don't have enough.

[00:02:32]God is saying, "I want you to have wisdom in this season. I want you to use your discernment in this season. I want you to be disciplined because if you can exercise discipline, you will allow yourself to grow to the next level and God can trust you with more. Listen, overflow is not always about a miracle.

[00:02:53]A lot of times it's about maintaining the blessing that God gives you. Listen.

[00:02:59]And being obedient when God tells you to sew, to give to whoever's life, to whoever is in need. Whenever God prompts you to do something for someone, do that thing because trust and believe a blessing is coming right back your way.

[00:03:14]It's not in vain. You're not giving in vain. It's coming back to you. Pressed down, shaken together, and running over.

[00:03:21]You just got to live in obedience in this hour. You just have to live in obedience in this season. We all do.

[00:03:27]Because again, we pray and we ask God to sustain us and maintain us and we ask him to bless us, right, and teach us and grow us and we say we want the blessing and we say we want these things, but are we willing to do what God has told us to do when he gives us the message? When he gives us the word that we've been needing, right? Not the word that we've been looking for that, oh, I'm getting ready to give you a million dollars. The word that we've been needing is to sustain what you have now, to steward what you have now, because you don't know what God is going to bring into your hands. It may very well be $5 million, but that doesn't mean that you then go and buy a million dollar home.

[00:04:09]Stewardship, discernment. This is what it's about.

[00:04:13]Okay? Because you can does not mean that you should. So many people have reached out to me and said, "I don't have enough to do anything extra. All I have is bill money. I can barely get by." I need you, the person that's saying that, I need you to focus your energy and your time and your attention on drawing closer to the Lord so that you can tune your ears to his voice. God has a word for you. He has an instruction for you. But you will not find it unless you connect. Okay? You got to get in his presence. All right? I can give you all of the practical wisdom all day long. But sometimes you need a word from the Lord to you directly. And that is going to come from your relationship with him. You got to build that. You got to get closer. The scripture says, "Never have I seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." If you are living paycheck to paycheck and you're basically pretty much going hungry and you never have enough, something is missing. Something is broken and it could be fixed. It can be fixed. Maybe you need to forgive somebody. Listen, you never know until you get close to God and he reveals that thing to you because that's exactly what he does when you're in his presence. He reveals to you the thing that you did not see, that you did not know. How many of you have thought that you were just a great Christian, right? You just thought you were great. You were saved. I love God. Everything's good. And then you find that as you get closer to the Lord, as you begin to worship more, as you begin to get in his presence more, there comes a point when he shows you yourself. And it's not all beautiful like you thought it was, right? That's where your humility comes in. That's where your your Lord, I'm sorry comes in because you didn't know that you was still wretched, right? God had to reveal it to you. But that only happens when you get in his presence. So that's a word for those of you who are struggling to get by. Okay? It doesn't mean that God is going to just throw a million dollars in your bank account, but it does mean that God will give you the strategy and the idea for you to have more than enough. This is your inheritance. This is promised to you.

[00:06:40]But you have to remember that the scripture also tells us that if we abide in him, he will abide in us. And whatever we ask for, it shall be done.

[00:06:50]That means your needs will be satisfied.

[00:06:53]You will have overflow. you'll have more than enough because whatever you ask for shall be given unto you. This is when God begins to answer your thoughts, right? You think something that you need. You haven't even had time to pray the thing, but all of a sudden it happens because you are in alignment with the Lord. You are connected. Okay?

[00:07:16]You have to understand, remember, never forget this process. Okay? God is the father. He's the source, right? He is the giver of all things, right? Jesus is our access to him. No man comes to the father but by me. Jesus is our access, right? The Holy Spirit is our guide. You have to make sure that your ears are tuned in to what the spirit of the Lord is saying. And those of you who resonated with this message of buy what you need and stop buying all of your wants, watch how you flourish. Watch how God increases what you have. Watch how you have money coming out of your ears.

[00:08:08]Watch how you have money that you don't even have to touch and you forgot it was there because you got this money over here. Watch how quickly things begin to shift in the area of abundance and overflow in your life. This is a word of life. This is a word of life that is going to sustain you, that is going to keep you in times of trouble, in times of recession, in times of lack, in times of drought. you will have more than enough which means that you will be a resource for others.

[00:08:44]Listen, you have to obey the word of the Lord. It's not to harm you. You can still enjoy life. Just don't splurge on everything because you want to. Just don't buy because you feel like it, because you can, or to satisfy some type of emotional need that you need to be met. get your needs met in the presence of God. Let him make you whole. Let him make you over, right? And then you can bring your you can bring that part of who you are to the table in all the other areas. And so you're not trying to fill yourself with something that's only going to satisfy you temporarily. Instead, you will enjoy the things in life that are simple. You got to get back to simplicity. We have to get back to simplicity. This doesn't mean that you have to go sell your house and live in a hut. It means stop filling it with things and make sure that you are filled with the spirit of the Lord and make sure that you are satisfied in him. This way everything that you touch, whatever you have, what you already have, you can make everything beautiful.

[00:10:02]You can turn anything into something great without sacrificing what it is that you need because you are gobbling up all of your wants. Every time your eyes see something, you want to get it right. Remember, one of the fruits of the spirit is self-control, discipline. So, when you think about the fruits of the spirit, think about discipline. Think about making sure that you are honoring the Lord and stewarding your life, stewarding the blessing, stewarding the overflow, stewarding your decisions, stewarding the message that's coming forth, applying it to your life, and then watch God blossom you, grow you more than you thought that you would ever be. Right now, when you have a million dollars, you won't feel the necessity to go and buy a house with that million dollars. You'll buy something that's just as beautiful, just as amazing, just as grand for a better price, right? Because you are stewarding. You don't take all of the blessing and dump it all into that thing, right? You make sure that you have enough for later, right? You want to stay in overflow. You buy a house, but you're still in overflow.

[00:11:27]Amen. Stewardship. This is what God is calling us to in this season. Listen, again, I believe that when the Lord calls us to this uh level of discipline, right? And it's immediate and it's a right now work, it's because he is preparing us for something. He does not want us to be caught off guard. He doesn't want us to be in a situation where we don't have it. Instead, not only do we have it, we have extra. We have more than enough. And even in times of recession, we can still have some luxuries. We can still have overflow. We still have joy, right? Not because of stuff, but because God provided.

[00:12:13]Because God gave us the insight. because he gave us the intel, right? And we are prepared. We are ready for whatever may come because our God takes care of his own. Listen, if you're a believer, then you know that the Lord will give you a word about a future date. And if you heed that word right, you will be able to look back and say, "I remember when God told me to do this thing and I did it and I'm so glad that I obeyed." We all have those instances and times in our life, right, where we can look back and see that God kept us from something. He protected us from something or he prepared us for something, right? This is one of those times. Okay? So seek the Lord about this word. Pray. Get closer to him and be a good steward in the name of Jesus. Save your money. Put your money up.

[00:13:14]Don't spend every dime that comes in.

[00:13:18]Buy what you need. Save what's left over. Okay? All right. And you can still enjoy life. You can still enjoy life.

[00:13:29]But oh, how much better it's going to be when the time comes that some lack or drought is in effect and you do not feel the sting of it.

[00:13:41]Receive this word today because it's wisdom for your life. It's wisdom for your soul. It's going to keep you and it's going to bless you and you will be in overflow at a time where there is drought.
