The board's deadlock highlights the inherent friction between organizational inertia and the urgent need for strategic transformation in modern football. It is a textbook example of how fragmented leadership can paralyze a club's competitive evolution.

West Ham Vote SPLITS Board | ExWHUEmployee "Nuno Likely to Stay"Added:
So according to ex-W West Ham United employee, it would appear that the battle over who is going to manage West Ham next season is being won by Daniel Kinski, which in turn means that we well could well end up with Nuno Espirto Santo back in charge at West Ham next season. Now, X did give a little update on that that a little bit later on and he suggested there was going to be a vote.
I I I'll read some some snippets from that and um and I will I ordinarily I would I would check with X on this stuff before doing a video. I haven't done that on this occasion, but I reserve the right to come back and do another no another video to speak to him because I I find he can often be misqued and and the last thing I want to do is misquote him on this. Um, let's Okay, let's start with this proposed vote. Daniel Katinsky apparently wants Nuno. David Sullivan and others don't.
So, the first question that springs to my mind is who are who are the others?
Um, sounds a bit spooky, doesn't it? Who Who are the others?
Is that Trip Smith? I don't know. Is he getting a vote? I don't know. We mentioned Terry Brown. Brown out. Brown out. He's still here, right? Is it Sorry, I don't know why I'm waving my my very um my very lovely colorful pen around there.
Who's making these decisions?
Bearing in mind the Golds are about to sell their shares. Are they involved in a decision-m process? If they are, why?
Um, I don't think anybody that's not going to be here and has no future at West Ham should be making these decisions anyway.
What frightens me and I'm I'm can only speak from the heart on this one is that David I know David Sullivan's having an input that's not beyond that's not under any doubt but I know he's his boys Jack and David Junior are both on the board. Are they having an input on this? Is Ampa having an input? I this stuff terrifies me actually.
Anyway, so that's that was my question when I when I sort of heard heard that who is who's who's making these decisions.
Um, in terms of the actual decision itself, like I said yesterday, I can I can take it or leave it. I think I'm leaning towards not having Nuno, and I'll give you a number of reasons why, actually. Um, let me just read you uh what I've got what I've got here um from it.
Basically, let's let's go let's go with the first one. The first one is basically West Ham have changed their initial stance on Nuno and the initial stance is to get rid of him. Now we're looking at to try and keep him on. He was looking likely to go but positive talks have changed the picture. Positive talks what with him? Um and then so an ex had said that the board wanted to give him a chance to try and get the club up at the first time of asking. Then the second update came the decision's not been confirmed. There does seem to be a significant shift which is what we've already discussed.
West Ham said decision be made in the next couple of days. We'll find out in the next couple of days. Nuno has a choice of Kinsky whereas the others prefer alternatives like Parker. A vote will be cast.
So if there is a vote then we Nuno is not going to stay and and despite everything that's said I would still be surprised if he stays.
Um it's a bit of a funny one from Katinsky.
Let me explain why. Uh is Kretinsky impressed with Nuno? Well apparently so it's not for me not for me to say whether he is or whether isn't but we here he is.
You can be impressed that Nuno improved on what had what had happened before with Potter, but that doesn't necessarily the best man to take us forward. I walked out of that stadium the other day after the game and did me video. I switch switched switched the phone on to to record the video.
And one of the things that gave me a little bit I wouldn't say a spring in my step, but one of the things that maybe gave me a little bit of hope and I said it in a video, they've all got to go. They've all got to go.
And I said it I articulated at the time the board nuno all of them a lot of the players there's no real positives to being relegated but you try and find them. So a lot of people say no V and you try and find some positives and a few of the positives to me was a fresh start. A fresh start. Maybe maybe we could get someone like a I don't mean a forward thinking manager. I want a modern manager when I'm there's two ways of forward thinking. as forward thinking in terms of of coaching and and you having a having a throwin specialist and you know having your recruitment being forward thinking in that way. Yes, I want that. I mean forward thinking but attacking attacking thinking it's a good chance there's a good opportunity to have a reset fresh start get an attacking coaching. So that's that's more the way I I would I would rather go.
If for whatever reason we're not going to get the reset at the very top and this would very much indicate we're going to find out who who wears the trousers very very soon. If Nuno gets appointed you will find out that Kinsky wears the trousers. So this is really weird. So do I want to keep Nuno?
No.
But if we did keep him it would suggest that Sullivan's influence is waning. So, it's a very very hard hard decision.
This if we get rid of Nuno, it would demonstrate that actually Kinsky's got he might want to increase his shareholder. He might be doing that, but he's got very little sway at all.
Um, so so that in itself is is interesting. But here's what I'm saying.
Kinsky can be impressed with Uno, but he doesn't mean he's the best man to take us forward.
And when you think that we do need a huge restructure, and that's one of the things that I felt more positive about over the last 24 hours with this talk of uh uh Kieran Scott, director of football, new coaches, um that's made me feel more optimistic.
But if we're going to do that again, I don't think Nun knows the man for the job to do that. I really, really don't.
Um, and as I see it, we've got Nuno's got a problem for remaining at West Ham. And we've got two problems.
Before I discuss those problems, can I please point you in the direction of today's video sponsor, which is Surf Shark. Surf Shark are a VPN. You not got a VPN? Why not? You need one? Don't take my word for it. Go and Google, do I need a VPN? What does a VPN do? When you've decided that you do, come back and see us and take advantage of the wonderful offer we've got. Four months free. Four months free. When you sign up, you got to use that promo code though.
Surfshark.com/hammers chats. Also a 28day money back guarantee. Loads of reasons you might need a VPN. Maybe you want to access content overseas that you can't access in the UK. Um, all sorts, not just sporting content. Even Netflix, believe it or not. Netflix run completely different schedules and and have different films running, different sporting events running, different all sorts in different countries. That's very useful. You basically trick the internet into pretending you're somewhere else. It keeps your data safe.
What's your data, pictures, emails, phone number, address, all that stuff. I think that's really good. Also, um it can sift through your email. Uh it can detect spam. It can act as a firewall. I don't know if anyone else used to pay fortunes for firewalls. It does all that for you. Um probably the best security it performs. So, when you're out and about on public Wi-Fi or you're out on 5G, it encrypts your encrypts your phone. And it's not just for your phone.
It's for your laptop, everything. All you need is literally one account and you can protect all your devices. So, it's really good. Um, the discount code is hammer chat one word. Use the link in the description. Um, I suspect you, in fact, somebody messaged me the other day and he went, "Gon, this Surf Shark's brilliant. I've been using it for a long, long time now, even before they were sponsoring us." Okay, Nuno. Here's let me discuss this from Nuno's point of view. Why it might not necessarily be a good idea for Nuno to stay on at West Ham. I thought because of the damage at West Ham, Nuno could get away with taking us down and not not massively dent his reputation.
I think Nuno could walk away from it now and say it wasn't really my fault. It was David Sullivan's fault. It was Graham Potter's fault. The club was a mess. I tried my best. I took it to the last game of the season.
And I I think in terms of mitigation, I think in terms of an impact on the CV, I think his reputation is reasonably intact.
If if he were to fail to get us up, I think he could wave goodbye to Premier League jobs in future because I think they'd look at and think, hold on a second, he was trouble at Forest at the end.
He didn't keep West Ham up and then he couldn't get him out the Championship.
So big risk, big risk for Nuno. he cannot afford not to get us up. So, I'm not sure I'd take that risk if I was him. So, that's his reputation.
The other the reason from West Ham's point of view is is twofold.
It's it's transfers and it's director of football. We need a director of football. I don't think I've seen anything to suggest he can work with one and that's look at what's happened at night in Frost with Edu. Yes, I know there was someone in there before, but also when he was very successful at Wolves, um there was no director of football. It was George Mendes. It was his agent bringing in the players. That can't be allowed at West Ham. We have to move away from that structure. Just cuz the name of the agent has changed from Wall House to Mendes does not make it any better. Really, really doesn't. Very um and I will remain very very unhappy with that transfer of Pablo. Forget the players ability. It's the fact that and no nobody really disputes this. Here's here's the thing.
The fact that 7 to8 million went to a selling club means you know sort of 1230 million has gone somewhere else. Uh I think it's horrendous and I I do not we cannot afford we we're gonna have to cut our cloth. We're in huge amounts of debt. I mean, I could have done a video today about what Kieran Maguire said about our debt, but we've discussed it. We've discussed it all before, of course, on here, but that's a worry. Look at how he fell out with Edu, as I say, at Forest when he had to work with our director of football. Um, wasn't able to bring in his own players at Tottenham and that worked out really, really badly for him. and um and and from from what I heard, it wasn't it wasn't an amicable amicable uh separation with him and Daniel Levy.
So I I think there's nothing to suggest he can work with a director of football.
The other thing that worries me is Jared Bowen. I love to keep Jared Bowen.
I'm going to do a video about him in a couple of days. Um, but Jared, but Luno has not been able to get the best out of Jared Bowen. It's just not.
And that's an issue.
I think he's I mentioned it. Um, done so many videos over the last couple of days. Can't remember what video I've mentioned it. Well, it might have been my Patreon video actually.
Bowen is there's nothing about Bowen that's not repairable.
He's not had a crucia or an ACL.
He's 29 and he's a rest. He might need small surgery or something like that. I suspect he'll get his yard of pace back and I think he'll get his um his vavoom back as well. He'll get his fruiness back.
But and I think his peak years are in front of him or they're right now. Not in front of him. His peak years are right now.
His output is tremendous, but we got to stop asking him to play at right back. It's another reason, and I know technically doesn't, but he spends a lot of time in that position. He's a killer player in the final third. It's another reason why I think we need I'd love to keep Bowing. I don't know if we will. It's another reason if we do, we need a forward thinking manager. Have someone that puts Bowden in attack and keeps him in attack. He he finishes.
He'll be top goal scorer in a championship is not even a debate as far as I'm concerned. He'll do most assists and most goals in the Championship.
Almost guaranteed that he'd fire us back up.
But if we're going to defend ourselves and defend our way to the title and we're going to ask him to sit in front of Carl Walker Peters for the season, um I just don't I just don't think he's the man. I just I've not seen anything in Nuno that suggests that he can get the best out of Bow. In fact, I would suggest that Bowen has got his assists and goals this season in spite of Nuno.
Sounds like I'm really hating on it. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I just I was just so so eager to have a fresh start. I just I think I would feel boyed. I'd feel lifted by a new coach coming in um with a new director of football and I I was I was really looking I was really looking forward to this. I was having a having a chat with with Gio about um we got patrons will know this.
you've got this um Y scout software which is basically like the international scouting software. So it gives you access to dossas and video footage of of loads of players well all the players globally. You can look at any player in detail and not just not just like thrown together YouTube footage with a dance track with all their best bits. You can look at their crap bits. You can look at their look at all their bits if you p if you pardon if you pardon expression. Um, you could highlight go, okay, I just want to look at the tackles. I just that doesn't make it any better. I just I just want to look at the dribbling.
Sorry, I've gone I've gone my mind is in the sewer. You can just go and look at their at their sprints. You can go and look at their goals. You can look at their crossing. You can break it down to that, but you can really go and have a look at players. And I said to Gio, I've been trying to look for positives. So, actually be be quite good actually, you know, going into the championship. And I'm really I'm already invested in the championship. I'm I'm going to go on a a voyage of discovery. I'm going to learn a lot about it. I don't watch any championship. We're in the Premier League, but I'll tell you what, we're in a Championship. I won't watch any Premier League. I'm completely invested in in what West Ham are doing and who West Ham would be playing. And I said it'd be really interesting not only to look at other players in the Championship might be signing, but I was sort of quite looking forward to a director of football coming in and us signing.
Cheeky central midfielder from Bundesliga 2 that nobody's heard of. I I enjoy that. I don't, by the way, I don't know who we've been linked with any. Um anyway, you know that that player in Belgium who's who's 21 and really promising and had a good first season at GK. I'm making this up off the top of me head, by the way. I go and discover him and go and look at it and do the amateur scout on on Patreon.
Yeah, I'm I'm into that. I fancy doing a bit of that.
Um, that's what I want. I want something to look forward to. I think you're going to need experience, by the way, and I think experienced players are important, but I I also think cracky, we need some pace in the team, that's for sure. Um, anyway, I digress.
That's what I sort of looking forward to.
I don't want Nuno in charge bringing his dad's son in for over the top money, which is what happened with Pablo. I don't want that.
I I don't want favors for mates and favors for agents. I don't want it. I want to move forward as a football club.
Anyway, there you go.
Right, I am going to Skidad on now. Um, oh, cup of tea. Cup of tea is tonight, by the way. Cup of tea is tonight. It's changed. It's changed. Cup of tea tonight. Um, 7:00 7:00.
