The video provides a precise and systematic breakdown of the theological departures that separate Watchtower doctrine from historical Nicene orthodoxy. It effectively illustrates how specific creedal boundaries are used to define the limits of traditional Christian identity.

5 Jehovah's Witness Beliefs That Prove They're Not Christian追加:
Hey guys, thanks so much for checking out this video. In today's video, we're going to hit up five different beliefs of the Jehovah Witnesses that you might not know that show that they are not Christians. Let's get right into the video.
The first belief that I want to talk about is that Jehovah Witnesses believe that Jesus is not Jehovah.
Meaning Jesus is not God. That Jesus is not fully God and that instead Jesus is the first and only direct creation by Jehovah and through which Jehovah created all the other creations.
In other words, Jesus was created by Jehovah and has this unique relationship with Jehovah by being the only direct creation. And Jesus is is is the is the agency through which everything else was created. They talk about uh Colossians chapter 1 verse 15 and that Jesus is the firstborn of all creation. And they say literally firstborn. They say literally that he was the first one created.
And then everything else in Colossians it says that Jesus created everything.
They say, "Yes, that's true." But they disagree with the idea that Jesus being firstborn for the Christian, we'll get into this in another video where we break down some things. But just a little a little hint is that firstborn is a is an item of rank in the Old Testament. Being the firstborn got you double the inheritance and more responsibility. And I mean when Paul talks in Colossians about Jesus being the firstborn over all creation, there's this title of rank, the supremacy of Christ. So the Jehovah Witnesses say they disregard that and they say, "No, that actually what Paul's saying he's the firstborn." So they say Jesus is not Jehovah. That Jesus was the first creation by Jehovah. So Jesus is a creature, not the not the creator all be all.
Jehovah created Jesus, but then Jesus created everything else. But Jesus himself was created. So that's the first unique kind of belief that shows that this isn't Christian. This is not Christianity at all. The second belief that I want to hit on is the fact that Jehovah Witnesses say that God and they use the word Jehovah, that God is not Trinitarian in nature.
And there's actually even quotes that say that that they say that that that the Trinity, the the originator of the Trinity is the devil himself.
And they have very very harsh things to say about the Trinity and I'm going to get more into that specifically in a future video. So make sure to subscribe if you're interested more in like a nitty-gritty kind of biblical exposition of of the Trinity in comparison to what the Jehovah Witnesses say, but then also bringing in some quotes from the Jehovah Witnesses about their thoughts about the Trinity. So that's going to be in a future video. So make sure to subscribe if you're into that kind of content. But the but the the Jehovah Witnesses say that God is not Trinitarian in nature and for us as believers, we do believe that. It it you know, and the fact is that Jehovah Witnesses love to say you know, the word Trinity isn't in the Bible. So it's not there. It's something that was created. You know, they love to talk about Constantine maybe you know, manipulating the text or or or manipulating the faith, but but at the end of the day like just because the word is not in the Bible obviously doesn't mean the teaching isn't. And and obviously there is text in the Bible that talks about the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit uh being uniquely the same. You know, the the fact is that they are they share the same essence.
The the language of the of the Christian faith is a that there's there's uh three persons, one essence. That they all share the same essence. That they're that they're God and they're fully God.
You know, there's not a lesser God or a greater God. It's a fact that that they all are God and they all are important and they all share. You know, that we baptize them in the name of the the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The name, not the plural names. And in in a very future video, I'm going to get more into that nitty-gritty, but just to highlight it is that we believe in the Trinity and they don't. They don't. So, obviously, they're not Christian.
Another belief that is actually pretty interesting is that shows that they're not part of the Christian faith is that the Jehovah Witnesses believe that Jesus was raised from the dead but not in an earthly body, but in a mighty spirit body.
So, they actually think that Jesus rose as a spirit creature and they and they sometimes talk about, you know, Jesus passing through, you know, a door that was locked and um but then also just the fact that they don't believe in it and they and they say that Jesus even also a secondary one is the fact that Jesus died not on a cross but on a stake. You know, so Jesus died and he rose from the dead and they'll they'll use that language, but they don't believe that Jesus rose in an earthly body, you know? He did not raise from the dead in an earthly body, but it was actually a spirit body. And we believe as a Christian that that Jesus rose from the dead in an earthly body and and again, I'll get into this in future video, but 1 Corinthians chapter 15, just go read it and let Paul speak to you about what the resurrection of a of a physical body means to the believer. It is our hope. It is It is the thing that our faith rests on. And if Jesus didn't raise from the dead in an earthly body, a physical body, then we, as Paul says, we we should be pitied among all men.
And Jesus rose in a physical body. You know, Thomas touched his hands and and I'll get more into the nitty-gritty, but I just I can't help but proclaim the fact that he he rose from the dead in a physical body, but Jehovah Witnesses don't believe that. They don't believe Jesus rose in an earthly body. They believe that he rose in a spirit body.
The fourth belief that I want to hit on that shows that the Jehovah Witnesses do not align with the Christian faith is a fact that the second coming of Christ, that Jesus' second coming is something that we believe comes at the end of time and that he will come and to judge. But, the Jehovah Witnesses think that this is actually the second coming of Christ has actually already began through a invisible spirit spiritual presence that began in in 1914.
And this this one is going to be again I love to do another video about this, but it it gets into their their their history and they have had a lot of they have they have a lot of history about making prophecy. Prophecy that doesn't come to last and and the book of Deuteronomy talks about, you know, what to do with people that make prophecies that don't really come to life. But, the idea is that they do believe that Jesus has already came. His second coming has already happened. And we obviously believe he came, but but not his second [music] time. And but they do. They say in in 1914 there was this invisible presence and that is the second coming. So, so that doesn't align with the Christian faith. We don't believe that that doesn't align with how things will unfold and [music] just general timeline of the historical redemption plan of the Lord, but 1914 is something that they say Jesus came back and we don't believe that. That doesn't align with the Christian faith. So, that's the fourth one and now let's move on to the last one.
The last belief of the Jehovah Witnesses that I want to speak on that show that the Jehovah Witnesses are not aligned with the Christian faith is twofold. Is that the wicked will not be punished with with, you know, conscious torment, this like forever kind of torment, but that that instead they will be annihilated, they will be extinguished forever.
That that is going to be a thing that just happens and they're gone.
And that doesn't align with the Christian faith. It doesn't align with with us and what we believe. And again, in a future video, I'm going to go into the nitty-gritty. This is again just an overview of just some of the broad strokes just so to get you kind of interested and get you some kind of feedback to you so you don't need to have, you know, an in-depth video at this point. But if you're interested, subscribe because those are going to be coming. But But again, that the dead only exists in God's memory.
That that that hell which they have their own history again, they have a history of this belief that actually ultimately led to Charles Taze Russell, the founder of the Jehovah Witnesses, to actually, you know, leave, you know, Christianity and make the Jehovah Witnesses that he didn't like the doctrine of hell. And we as Christians, we believe in hell. We believe the fact that there is a conscious torment, that there is this understanding of what is happening to them and that they're not going to be blotted out at that time, that there's going to be eternity for both the believer and, you know, for the saint and also for the ones in hell. But they don't believe in that and they have a really difficult time with that. And it's interesting, too, because they have a history with the doctrine of of hell and that kind of goes back to their founder Charles Taze Russell and and his kind of interesting history with that doctrine. And And that's another video that's a little bit more in-depth.
But again, this is just an overview video and this is their their idea of hell is not akin to the Christian faith.
And And those are just five of some of the brief beliefs that show really quickly that they don't align to the Christian faith. Christian Christianity is something that's been historically defined. You can't just treat Christianity as your little plaything that you can make it into whatever you want it to be. That's not how this works. That's not how faith in Christ works. There are doctrines, there are primary doctrines that are essential to the Christian faith.
You know, I'm talking about the nature of God, which goes into the Trinity.
I'm talking about the personhood of Christ, the deity of Christ.
You know, even things like the the doctrine of God's holy scriptures about them being perfect and and and blameless and inherent.
That's important. Those are things that make us who we are.
And you can't just disagree with one of those and say that I'm still a Christian. That's not how this thing works. You know, it's not your little plaything. You have to submit to what we've already historically defined to be true by by by Jesus, by his his followers, and that church that started in the book of Acts. You know, that early church, um they had a legacy and they did things and and they knew Christ and and they made sure to uh to teach things that were biblical and we need to adhere to them. So, for the Jehovah Witnesses, they would love to say that they are Christian. Just like Mormons would love to say that they're Christian, but they're not. Those two groups are not.
And again, subscribe to this YouTube channel because I really want to get more into the nitty-gritty about Jehovah Witnesses and also the Mormons and even Christian Science and Muslims and Atheists and and all those different kind of topics, but kind of explain them in a in a in a brief way, but also also in another video like an in-depth way.
So, if you're into that kind of stuff, make sure to subscribe. But when you look at the Jehovah Witnesses, know that they're not Christian, but also know that they're not your enemy.
You know, they're not that your enemy.
This this this video is not meant to be about me saying, you know, Jehovah Witnesses are stupid or that that we need to understand that they're wrong, that we're right, and that we need to go after them.
You know, with this like pitchfork. You know what I'm saying? Like they're not the enemy. The enemy has already revealed himself and he's revealed himself to be Satan.
So, don't think that this is like, you know, let's go attack the Jehovah Witnesses.
No. Like, let's let's talk to them.
Let's inform ourselves.
And let's learn more about God and his nature through his text. But, these are helpful videos just so you have this awareness of the other religions around you. And I know I I have a lot of Jehovah Witnesses, uh you know, in my family and also even in my area where I live, in Orange County, there's a lot of Kingdom Halls and where they worship and and it is it just comes up in conversation. So, knowing more about the Jehovah Witnesses is a helpful thing and I hope this video is helpful for you. Again, more videos on the way about this topic and also other religions and and also mental health stuff and and just different kind of videos related to the Christian life.
So, if you're new to that, subscribe. I really appreciate you guys checking out this video.
Um appreciate it. Leave a comment down below about uh another belief about the Jehovah Witnesses that show that they're not Christian cuz there's so many.
There's so many parts of their faith that I could have included in this video, but I just wanted to be pretty brief to kind of hit on some big ones.
Obviously, there's some bigger ones that are really out there. I'm talking about their their text. I'm talking about other parts of, you know, even heaven for them. There's a lot of things, even how to get to heaven, a lot of things.
So, leave them Leave some comments down below to help inform other people about other things about the Jehovah Witnesses that kind of show that they're not part of Christians about the Christian faith.
So, thanks again checking out this video, guys. I hope you guys have a great day and I'll see you in the next video.
