[00:00:10]So, turning from sin. So, doing good works, right? That would be turning from sin. Right? In James, it says to to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin. So, if you know to do good and you don't do it, it's a sin. So to do good works would be turning from sin. Are you guys following me so far? It's very simple. So when you tell people that they must turn from their sins to go to heaven, you're telling them that they must do good works to go to heaven, which the exact that is the exact opposite thing of what the Bible teaches how you go to heaven.

[00:00:47]We are justified by faith without good works, without works of the law, without doing good. In fact, we are so evil that God had to come down from heaven. I know I'm sound like I'm probably just saying with the obvious, right? But people need to be reminded of this. We are so evil that g God himself came down and had to suffer and die on a cross to pay for our sins. That's the only way we could be reconciled to God, by the death of his son, Jesus Christ. Only by his blood are our sins covered. There is nothing else that covers our sins. And yet all you hear in church buildings and all you hear what most people believe is you have to stop being bad and start being good in order to go to heaven. This is what most people believe. This is why so many people are going to go to the lake of fire because their trust is in how they lived and not in what Jesus did on that cross. This is the issue. This is the main issue because sin was already dealt with. No matter how much you turn from sin, it won't get you to heaven.

[00:01:50]You just need to trust that what Jesus did is enough. It's so simple a child can understand it. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life, and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. You believe in Jesus, you go up. Don't believe in Jesus, you go down. Very simple, my friends. Stop trusting in your works.

[00:02:13]Stop trusting in how you live. And trust in the Savior. And stop trusting in the sinner yourself. Stop trusting yourself and just trust in Christ.
