This video demonstrates how AI tools like Codex can assist in building Roblox games by generating code for game mechanics, showing a father and son team creating a soccer knockout game called 'Last Goal Wins' where players must score to advance and the last player remaining wins.

Can Codex Build a Roblox Soccer Game? Dad + Son Test ItAdded:
Hello everyone.
>> Hello.
>> We're back to try building a Roblox game again. Last time we we did use Clawude Opus 4.6 or 7, I can't remember. Uh 4.7 it may have been, but in the end we were trying to build a complex game and it was just too difficult. Um so now we're going to try Codeex uh Claude chat, sorry, Chat GBT 5.5. Apparently, this is pretty good at doing stuff. And what we're going to do is we're going to build a much simpler game.
>> Mhm. Yeah.
>> So, we've already discussed the game concept. This game is a called um Last Kick. And basically, it's a simple game.
You've got uh about 10 players or however many players in an arena. Um there's a soccer ball and goals around the arena arena. And basically you've got uh one less person in each round. So you've got uh say eight goals in the first round, eight players, oh sorry, seven seven goals, eight players and one player misses out every round. So whoever doesn't score is out and until we've got one person remaining. So we've already got our code ready or sorry our prompt ready from chat GBT on the game concept. So, we are just going to chuck it in Codeex and see what it does for us first game. So, let's see how Codex compares to Claude.
All right.
Okay. So, 6 minutes have passed by.
Let's see what he's actually done.
Play. Oh, wow.
>> There's no map. Oops.
>> Oh, waiting for players. Oh, how do we test it?
>> There's no map. We're >> falling. Yeah, we >> we just keep dying.
Oh, it needs two players as well.
>> Yeah. How do we test that?
>> I think there is a way.
>> All right, let me ask him. Okay, it's telling us to test it.
Um, we need a second player in there.
Player emulator.
Uh, enable test profile, I presume.
Okay. Oh, let's see. Start test session.
It's done something and it said press E to kick.
All right. Well, the physics aren't the best.
>> Hi game.
>> Well, it's literally just on the base template, so it's saying it's obviously big.
All right, let's go back and see what the next steps are.
Okay, so apparently we go to test uh start test session server and clients.
>> What's that doing?
>> It's Oh, yeah. It's opening up a second one and then press play on Oh, wait.
Hold on.
>> Oh, how do we add two players though?
>> Yeah, it goes to the right test.
>> Oh, add clients. Was it?
>> I don't know.
>> What did it say? He said, "Uh, okay. Choose server and client that set set our count to two." Yeah. Okay.
So, set the client count.
Oh, wait a minute. Is that another player maybe? Okay.
>> Yeah. There. And then get the other one >> and hit play for this one.
>> No, for the other one.
>> Which one?
>> The first one.
>> That one? No, the first one. The first >> Oh, as in play.
>> Oh, I don't know.
>> No, I think that's >> Oh, press add a client.
>> Yeah. Where's that?
>> Like on that one? Yeah.
>> Another add a client.
>> There we go. Okay. Well, we've got >> Oh, there you are.
>> Oh, there we go. Two players. All right.
Go.
Oh, how do I know which one I'm controlling? Oh, you got to press play, do we? Wait, wait.
>> Oh, match starting. Oh, exciting.
Oh, there we go. Oh, okay. Well, mini round start.
>> Oh, you have to score on the green goal.
>> Oh, okay.
>> Oh, >> okay.
>> You have to score in a certain goal.
>> Oh, that's not too bad, actually. Ah, >> you can't score in a random goal to lock in.
>> Okay. Okay. Okay.
That's actually pretty fun. You got to make better mechanics. Oh, here we go.
Other guy's going to steal my goal. The NPC. He's done it.
That's pretty fun. Okay, so now we can work on the physics. At least we got the basic game concept.
>> Oh, this is the players that win. Like you're locked in.
>> They're waiting for They're waiting for the next round.
>> Oh, yeah. Look, he's here.
>> So, if I go back to the other client.
>> Here you go.
>> Oh, here we are.
>> I think the game will start.
>> Intermission will be in.
>> Okay. Cuz we only got two players, right?
>> Yeah.
>> All right. Okay. Here we go. That's a good place to I guess stop this video.
What we'll do in the next video is we'll try.
>> Yeah, we'll try and add some graphics and >> um some better physics and we'll see how a codeex handles it. But the mechanics of the game aren't the best yet, >> but it's done the basic concepts which is what we wanted.
>> So, we'll see how we go with codeex 5.5.
>> Thank you. Thank you.
