Um, it's similar to an alop from a melodic perspective where you're introducing the tal and you're also exploring it and all of the different dynamics. Um, there are restrictions but it's not quite as restricted as a rag. Um, and uh, what I presented was a mixture between the luckno gana with something called paltka. So you heard a lot of das and dins basically you utilizing the tekka of tintal along with some elements of punjab uh I kind of used the chelan that I had learned from zakir hussein um you know may he forever be green as he always will be um and mixed it with luck knows paltate uh the next few compositions you're going to be hearing are kaidas kaidas are fixed compositions with a recurring theme. Um, so I'll play the theme first. It'll go into double speed and then there will be variations of that uh kaida um in various different ways which uh is not memorized. So it's whatever is improvised on the spot. So um let's see what happens.

Um and um I will present it in the deadly style first which will use two fingers and then I'll switch over more to the luckno style which uses more of a full hand approach. You'll see a that representation in this gut because it starts off at one speed, then you go into another speed, and then it gets faster. So, uh, moral of the story, life is short.
