It is about as subtle as a slap around the chops and not something that plays well with fans or club staff.

Having only bought Seeinho for around30 million, City can make their money back and more by selling to Spurs this summer. It is an easy win for Sporting director Hugo Vanna and CFG as long as the money they get for the winger is more valuable than the player he turns into. The outstanding issue though is that even if Seinho is not the answer for City in the final third, who is? If it is a solution of sorts to decide that the Brazilian will not turn into what Enzo Moresca needs and definitely a success to get a significant transfer fee for him, it still leaves the squad one man lighter and in need of somebody new to come and that will only add to the pressure on Vanna and his team to get it right this time.
