Shivani Pallela expertly distills Frost’s existential fatigue into a clear academic framework that makes high literature accessible to the modern student. It is a pragmatic bridge between poetic ambiguity and the structured demands of university-level analysis.

AFTER APPLE PICKING | SUMMARY EXPLAINATION | ENGLISH | SEM-6 | OSMANIA UNIVERSITY @shivanipallelaAdded:
Welcome back to our channel so students in this video we are discussing the lesson after apple picking okay so this poem is written by robert frost so whatever summary comes from this lesson it should be written the same that we are discussing in this video okay so definitely 15 marks question you will be having if this summary so so you concentrate about the author whatever is there compulsorily you learn it as it is when he was born when he was died what are his novels actually what are his works actually what awards he got you try to learn about it as it is because summary is anyway we write it as our own so at least you will learn it as it is Okay, okay, okay, after apple picking, so after apple picking is Robert Frost's author, so what will be said in this lesson is that Robert Frost, who was born in 1874 and died in 1963, was one of the most beloved American poets who wrote about everyday life and nature in New England. He is one of the most beloved, that is, a poet who is loved by many people. What he did in America was that Everyday Poets wrote novels about everyday life of nature and what it was like in New England. His poem After Apple Picking was published in 1914. In 1940, this poem, which we have, After Apple Picking, was published. So, who was living in England? Frost used simple language to explore the themes about life, work, and human nature. In this poem, he uses very genuine, common words to understand the depth of the feelings. He wants to write about the deep feelings in such words.
He wants four literary prizes for his poetry. First, write about the whole author. What this poem actually says is that it is a poem about feeling of tightness and refraction after a long day of work, so many people can relate to it. Many people will relate to this particular poem because the example is the same for me. So what I am saying here is that working out from long hours means when you work 20 hours in a 24-hour day, you feel full of tiredness. What is the reflection when we are tired?
What is it like when we work out for a whole day?
That is what the poem is about. So physically and mentally some people get exhausted.
Most of the people who work in MNC companies are also very physically and mentally stressed and they will feel depressed. Also right. So he is after spending the day picking apples daily. So the exhaustion in the poem symbolizes how hard work can leave a person feeling drained but also how it leads to reflection on the past.
What is he saying here? What is he saying? Symbolizes. He means whoever the author is. He doesn't spend the whole day picking apples. So what did he feel when he was doing the same thing routinely and in a loop? So he got so physically and mentally tired. All this is just one thing. The depth in this poem is how drained a person becomes if they keep doing the same thing over and over again.
Okay, the apples in the poem are symbols of goals and achievements. What is he saying here? Take those apples as goals and achievements and symbolize them. The speaker talks about reaching for the apples on a high box and picking them off the ground representing the different efforts made throughout life. If you want to reach out to your goals, you have to use different methods, different strategies, different hard work.
Just like picking up apples, you have to do this too.
Some apples are picked but others are missed. Sometimes we achieve some goals and sometimes we don't.
S symbolizes things in life, okay, so here's the thing: Life is never perfect.
Life is never perfect for anyone. We need to make the life perfect that is the only thing keep in your mind. Life is not perfect for everyone.
We need to accept the life as what we are having.
What the speaker is saying is that the speaker also thinks about sleep which can represent rest, dreams or even death. The tiredness on the idea of sleep led to a deeper thought about the cycle of life.
Many people say that they have work and stop sleeping. They stop sleeping. Different things are done, so even if you are earning more, you should also have a healthy way of doing self- pampering. No matter how much you earn, if you are not healthy, it is a waste of time.
Rest is compulsorily important for a person. So what do you say to the last one, just like the apple picking season ends, at some point the apple picking season ends, and at some point you will also achieve your goal. So this is the lesson of an apple picking day okay so after apple picking any question you need to write only one thing that is summaries so i hope that you have got clarity if you have any further doubts let me know in the comment section i hope that you have got clarity all the very best and see you all in the next video by everyone
