[00:03:51]As the years go on, people spend more and more of their day by themselves, not always by choice.

[00:04:04]But because life naturally changes, work slows down, routines shift, people move, families get busy, and slowly the daily interaction starts to fade.

[00:04:25]But when you see that, it makes you think differently about those small moments.

[00:04:32]Because when you're surrounded by people all day, a quick conversation might not seem important.

[00:04:42]But when you're not, it becomes something else entirely.

[00:04:48]It becomes connection.

[00:04:51]It becomes a reminder that you're still part of the world around you.

[00:04:57]And when we stop talking to strangers, we don't just lose conversation.

[00:05:45]That is why it's so powerful because we are losing this interaction in everyday life.

[00:05:55]And I don't think we stopped connecting in person all at once. It just happened gradually.

[00:06:05]One less hello, one less comment, one less moment until one day you realize it's just not there anymore.

[00:06:18]And the day feels different because of it.

[00:06:22]Not dramatically, but quietly.

[00:06:26]A little more distant and a little more disconnected.

[00:06:32]And I think that's why it can be hard to explain because nothing is obviously wrong.

[00:06:45]And once you notice it, you can't really unsee it because you start to recognize how often those moments used to happen and how rarely they do now.

[00:07:00]And maybe it doesn't seem like much, but over time it adds up because those small interactions, they were never really small.

[00:07:14]They were part of how we experienced the world. And in many ways they are the fabric of life.

[00:07:23]Part of how we felt connected to the people around us.

[00:07:29]Part of how the day felt a little less quiet.

[00:07:34]And without them something shifts.

[00:07:39]Not all at once but enough to feel.

[00:07:43]We didn't stop talking to strangers all at once.

[00:07:48]We just slowly stopped and now it feels different.
