Why English Idioms Are So Confusing! 😂

[00:00:13]One of our students told us that when he first arrived in an English-speaking country, he was at work and a colleague who was bringing boxes in from his car said, "Can you give me a hand?"

[00:00:26]The student said, he looked at his hand and he looked at the colleague in confusion.

[00:00:33]Um without a clue of what to do.

[00:00:36]Of course, his colleague meant he just wanted some help with what he was doing.
