True wealth is measured by the assets you possess that allow you to maintain your lifestyle even if your income stops, rather than just the amount of money you earn; this means converting income into assets is more important than simply earning more money, and the level of wealth you achieve is a personal decision based on how much of your income you choose to spend versus save and invest.

If you lost your job tomorrow, how long would you last?本站添加:
You lost your job tomorrow, how long could you survive? That's really the big difference when it comes to being rich and being wealthy. Being rich is I make a crap ton of money, which is awesome. Money's really important. But, wealth is judged in time. Like, what are the levels of assets that you have that if your income stops, you can continue to live and continue to have the same lifestyle? That's what wealth truly is.
So, if you're someone who's making a lot of money, think about your life and say, "Hey, how much of this money am I spending and how much of this money is turning into actual wealth?" And if you're someone that is already wealthy, kind of assess where your wealth is and see like, "Hey, am I putting away an appropriate amount of money to be as wealthy as I want to?"
And what's the answer to true wealth or true richness? It's really personal. It comes down to you with how much money you want to make. It comes down to you at what level of wealth do you want to have? Some people like living on 5% of their income. Some people like living on 50% of their income. It's really a personal decision.
