Constitutional rights protect individuals from government restrictions but do not grant rights over private property or other people's rights; for example, the Sixth Amendment guarantees an impartial jury based on state and district, not race, and freedom of speech prevents government censorship but does not allow individuals to ignore private property rules like restaurant policies or business dress codes.

Rights Vs. Wrongs: Constitution Edition
Added:Good morning, gang. Happy Saturday morning. All right, no big news today to talk about, no tips and tricks to talk about, but I wanted to give you a little bit of commentary here on a topic that has been in the news quite a bit this week.
And if you take a look at it, you can pretty much see this week proves beyond any reasonable doubt that the American public is full of idiots. And I'm not just saying Democrats like I usually do, okay? I'm talking about uneducated, clueless people, okay?
Do you know what the Constitution actually says? I mean, I'm not talking about be able to recite it verbatim or even tell me what every amendment is about, but you should know the basics.
And the funny part about it is is people try to twist the basics of the law, which is what the Constitution is. Okay?
to fit their narrative and it doesn't work.
At the beginning of the week, we had the Carmelo Anthony verdict and all the response to it.
And I got such a kick out of all the people on social media, the politicians, the talking heads, you know, especially the cackling hens on the view talking about it wasn't a fair trial.
There weren't any black jurists.
Really? Show me in the Constitution where it says that you have to have black jurists.
Oh, well, we It doesn't say that. He's He's entitled to a jury of his peers.
Really?
Please show me in the Constitution where it says jury of your peers.
It doesn't. And even if it did, peers wouldn't be described as your racial background. The Sixth Amendment specifically says you are allowed an impartial jury comprised of members of the state and district of which you live in.
Okay.
Please show me where there was any racial notification whatsoever in that. There wasn't. It doesn't say anything about sex or religion or any. It says impartial jury.
That's your right. You don't have a right to if I was on trial, I don't have a right to 12 white men.
It could be 12 Hindu women and if they're impartial that's a fair jury. That's a right.
Okay.
You listen to all these people that scream and yell about freedom of speech.
I can say that. Blah blah.
Yeah.
The government cannot restrict your speech.
I can without any problem. You can. The local deli can. If a guy runs a business and he has a no swearing policy in his restaurant or whatever and you swear, he can kick you out.
I have freedom of speech. I can say that. No, you can't. You can't be arrested for saying it, but you can be kicked off the premises.
And if you disagree, then you can get charged with trespassing. Okay?
Freedom of speech isn't absolute amongst the people. It's just the government cannot restrict your speech.
Gun rights.
The Constitution specifically says everybody has a right to be armed.
Okay?
And of course, we all know the difference. The government is trying to take the guns and everything like that.
But if a business says no guns, they can tell you to leave. Again, you can't be arrested for having one, but you can be requested to leave, and if you don't, you're trespassed. Okay?
There's a whole bunch of stuff that people try to twist and maneuver and everything to make it fit their definition. I mean, another funny one this week. After how many years have we heard the left saying, "You can't define a woman." We have a Supreme Court justice, well, one that's pretending to be one at least, that can't define a woman.
But after one pro wrestler or whatever it is, what what do you mixed martial artist, whatever, calls Michelle Obama a man, oh my god, all of a sudden every one of them are road scholars with degrees in biology that they know the difference between a man and a woman, right? Michelle Obama's a woman. Wait a minute. I thought you couldn't define a woman. You know, it's the insanity how things get twisted around to make it fit the narrative. I mean, I still always joke and the logic will never make sense to me about how a liberal can be so anti- capital punishment but pro-abortion.
So, they're fine with killing the innocent, but keeping the guilty alive.
Got it. Okay. Where's the logic?
Yes, you have rights that the government cannot take from you.
But when it comes to my house, my business, my property, whatever, I set the rules. You set the rules. That's it.
And if you decide that everybody must wear a three-piece suit to come into your house, that's the rule. And nobody can say, "I can wear whatever the hell I want." No, you don't have that right. Okay.
We really need, you know, Hillary Clinton's deal, re-education camps. You know, we need what Hillary Clinton say, we need her to re-educate all the the MAGA people. No, actually what we need is to re-educate the entire American population on what the Constitution actually is.
The laws under which you live. You don't have a choice. It's not up for negotiation. Sure, they could say there's a lawsuit and they're testing the constitutionality of it, you know, like the Virginia redistricting or whatever it is. The Supreme Court basically said, "Yep, you know, what you did was unconstitutional.
The end." Okay. It's the supreme law of the land.
Some people say it's up for negotiation.
Other people say it's absolute. I'm one of the absolutists. Okay.
Nowhere in the Constitution says you have a right to an abortion. Nowhere in the Constitution says doctors are required to cut off or glue on body parts. Okay? Now, you don't have a right to do that. You have a request to do that.
You know, again, you go back to the baker and the cake situation and all the similar ones on it. Okay, sure, the government couldn't have refused to bake the cake, but the private citizen can based on their constitutional rights.
That's the problem that everybody really has.
They manipulate their rights and forget that you have them, too.
Stop forgetting you have your rights.
You get to determine what happens. They don't tell you. They can scream and yell, "I have a right to." And your answer should be, "And I have a right to this." And mine's backed up by a piece of paper that was signed by the founding fathers. Yours is backed up by feelings.
And nobody cares about those.
You've been well out.
