[00:00:01][music] >> One important thing which we should start our conversation with is digital India. Sure. You know you have spent so much of your life doing deep researching US, working in India. And on the other side you came back to India and started your career with contributing to the nation right. You have taught so many students, advised governments, cyber defense systems and and and you know scaling these systems to like 1.8 billion people. So how was your journey like?

[00:00:25]>> I started a project with the National Science Foundation with my colleagues in the US on you know understanding the interaction between two critical infrastructures. We looked at power grid power system and communication system, how they are interlinked and how attacking one could actually attack the other. So when I wanted to do a cyber security center I so I did that. So we actually hired a very gifted engineer from the industry whom I met a programmable logic controller and supervisory control system from India Mart. And this guy was working for us you know a system integrator and the he called me and saying that we can provide this. So talking to him about his experience he had worked with various industry building their control system, industrial control automation. So after getting a little bit convinced I offered him that you come and work for us and you become a student for masters he joined and he designed, commissioned and worked with vendors and built India's first academic test bed in power distribution system to experiment his cyber security
