Yes, so first of all, it's always great to be in Taiwan. It's such a wonderful time to meet with our customers and our partners and our suppliers. And yes, we made two big announcements today. One is a significant investment in the Taiwan ecosystem and supply chain. You know, AI infrastructure is requiring uh so much investment right now and we have to come together as an ecosystem to make that happen. So, we have great partners in Taiwan. We are ramping up our capacity like crazy. So, across silicon and packaging, advanced packaging, substrates, rack-scale systems, all of these areas.
So, very excited to be here and interact with a lot of our partners and very happy to be able to announce our investment of over 10 billion.
Well, TSMC is an incredible partner and I have to say that we have had such a close partnership. The other thing we talked about is we're the first HPC customer in TSMC's 2 nanometer technology. So, we just started production ramp of Venice, our new Epic CPU. And we're always looking at how to have the broadest supply chain, but I have to say that TSMC has been an incredible partner for us. This is the perfect time because you look at the demand for AI right now.
I think the demand is far exceeding any of our expectations.
We're seeing a significant adoption including increase of inference, increase of use of agentic AI. And we need more CPUs and we need more GPUs and as a result, we're ramping up capacity for the most advanced technology. So, this is the right time for us to invest significantly in the Taiwan ecosystem and we're very proud to be able to do that. We have all of our top partners and customers and suppliers here with us. This is my chance to say big thank you on behalf of all of AMD. We could not possibly grow and be successful with our products without the entire Taiwan ecosystem here with us. So, it's really I'm looking forward to thanking all of my partners.
I met him yesterday already.
No, that's not As I said, TSMC is a great great partner for us and I very much appreciate CC's personal support for AMD. Yes, I think TSMC in Arizona is doing a great job. We are already ramping our server processors there and we're going to continue to ramp more in both Taiwan as well as Arizona.
We're always expanding in Taiwan.
Taiwan is such a We have many many engineers here who are working on all of our product lines here.
