Added:blue would be replaced purple because today was the final project demonstration day for embedded systems in robotics this class taught us about Ross which is the operating system used in a lot of robots and we got to apply everything that we learned in an actual robot on to our first project they only have 20 minute time slots for these presentations and within that 20 minute time slot they have to do a live demonstration of the robot which te and our robot is the polyl bot getting the robot reliable is much harder than getting it to work once translated test well done well [Applause] done the students have to design what the software is going to do what the robot's going to do they have to design the task and the context that the robot's going to be operating in it's a lot of subsystems and you basically break down the task at the end of the day you need a cup of coffee but what does that task entail you got to get coffee grounds you got to put it into a filter you got to boil water pour hot water over it then get that final product remove the filter and put it into a glass here's your cup of coffee we learn a lot in a very short period of time yellow the course is basically structured so you go from zero to knowing a lot it's a fire hydrant of information and you just grabs onto whatever you can and you learn as much as you can joint Tor and all the joint it's so much be able to like work on all my assignments with other people if I have an issue with this one assignment I can go talk to 20 other people who are doing the same assignment as me and who all think about the problem differently by the way how many computers are involved in this demo six to seven I'm very proud of what my team accomplished today I'm proud of like the rest of my cohort I think we all have really amazing projects that were showed off today so our goal is to make do paintings you just get gooseb was by thinking about like I know how much work everybody put in I know how much work I put in my team so it's very nice to see all of it come together blue
