Day 4 of trying to retire before I turn 30Added:
Today I was thinking a lot about how much you should work as a founder. I definitely don't have all the answers, but I'm starting to get really skeptical of the notion that successful founders spend all of their time working. Like you definitely spend all of your time thinking about the company, but I'm just not sure that working that much is a good idea. And this is mainly just because spending an hour on the right thing seems to get me way further than spending eight hours on the wrong thing.
The other day I spent almost the entire day from when I woke up to when I went to bed working on some details in my landing page that I ended up just deleting the day after. If I would have just made the right move from the beginning, I could have made the same progress in five minutes that I did in like 16 hours of work.
