This video identifies key high-yield topics for FMGE exam preparation that frequently appear in past papers and can be easily revised to score marks. The topics include vitamins (deficiency diseases like beriberi, pellagra, rickets), diuretics (mechanism of action, classes, and uses like acetazolamide for mountain sickness), leukemia (clinical features and classification), pneumothorax (management including needle insertion), burns (Parkland formula for fluid calculation), hernia (types and mesh repair), shock (types and management), anti-cancer drugs (mechanism and side effects like pulmonary fibrosis), biomedical waste management (bag classification system), levels of prevention (primordial, primary, secondary, tertiary), and PCOS (case-based scenarios and management).

Topics that give you EASY MARKS‼️Added:
Hey everyone, welcome back to Chromite.
I hope you all are doing well. Today in this video, I am going to show you the most scoring, most repeated and easiest to revise topics that can seriously boost your FMG score with smart preparation. These are the topics where questions are frequently asked, concepts are straightforward and with just one focused revision, you can grab easy marks in the exam.
So let's quickly go through them one by one. So the first topic is vitamins. If you go and analyze the past year papers, this topic will help you to score very easily. One of the easiest scoring topics questions three to four questions will be coming for in each exam. And uh this topic is like repeated in all the papers past 10 years papers.
This vitamins topic short shot will be coming. The questions are frequently asked on the deficiencies like which vitamin causes what kind of deficiency then the clinical features of these deficiencies. The markers if there are any then the co-enzymes if they act as a co-enzyme for any of the enzyme or any of the reaction. Okay. Like for example vitamin B1 it will cause berry berry vitamin B3 it will cause niain miain which causes pelgra then causes curvy vitamin D which causes ricketetts. So it's a favorite favorite questions uh topic of the FMG examiners. Then moving on to the next topic diuretics again a very important topic from the pharmacology. So frequently questions have been asked on this one. Questions like mechanism of action on the diuretics the classes which are like four um classes of the diuretics the thioite the loop diuretics then potassium sparing carbonic and hydrates inhibitors these and in which condition they are used. A favorite question of this one is about the acetolamide as it is used for the mountain sickness. This question is asked repeatedly in the exam. Then the next question leukemia an important topic from the pathology again a sure short topic frequently questions have been asked on the leukemia. So the questions roam around like clinical cases they will describe a clinical case and they will ask you what kind of leukemia it is whether it is the acute myoid leukemia then acute lymphoid leukemia chronic myoid leukemia or chronic lymphoid leukemia cl. So you need to be thorough with the clinical features of all these types and the particular findings, the hisystopathological findings. What can you find? Okay. So this is about the leukemas which you must uh know. Moving on to the next topic, it is the pneumothorax. Again a very easy clinical topic. So the question usually roams around the management of this pneumthorax which is why it's b needle insertion in the intercostal space. Fifth. So clinical feature will be described a chest X-ray can be given then a a case will be described like a patient coming to the emergency then you need to manage the airways whatever you will be doing.
Okay. So again a very important topic if you go and analyze this comes uh in every year in every paper this question is being asked on the neo thorax then the question will be repeatedly asked on the burns as well. The questions are asked on the management of the burns like how much percentage of the burns and how do you manage it? What kind of fluids you will be giving and the calculation of the fluid by the parkland formula. It is a very important formula which you must know. Sometimes questions are also asked on the complications like long-term complications which is the short-term complication. What will be happening if there will be operation um stay after the hospital or like after the burns the patient is admitted to the hospitals and after that he acquired infection so what will be the organism so all these questions will be coming under this burns topic but mostly you need to focus on the percentage of the burn surface area how to calculate it and the parkland formula okay then moving on to the hernia so questions In the hernia are asked on the various types of the hernia like the inguinal hernia, the direct direct and indirect inguinal hernia, umbilical hernia, then epigastric hernia, image based questions can also be asked as well as the management how do you manage it? So the usually the main management is the mesh repair.
This can be given in the option and the questions are like asked females concept most common males con most common again her a short topic then shock if you go and analyze the pqs again this question is being repeatedly asked the question on the shock so it is a very important integrated topic uh it focuses on the types like hypoalmic cardiogenic septic anaphylactic and neurogenic shock along with the clinical features and management. So the main strain which you must remember here is the parameters of the cardiac output, peripheral vascular resistance, how does the skin appear and what will be the cause. Okay, then again management will depend on the various types. Okay, main will be like management of the airway, breathing and circulation and then particular uh management based on the type. Then anti-cancer drugs again a very important topic asked in integration with the pharmarmacology. The questions roam around the mechanism of action the classes of the anti-cancer drugs and very very important side effects of the cancer. Frequently questions are asked on the side effects of the cancer. One famous question is about the pulmonary fibrosis which is the side effect of the amo duron.
this then complications or side effects of the sysplatine frequently from the anti-cancer drugs.
Then moving on to one important topic sure short I am expecting a question to be coming from this one in the upcoming exam as well July exam biomedical waste management definitely one or two questions will be coming. So it is an important topic from the PSM.
So um questions are asked that in which bag what kind of waste we can dispose like it is classified into the yellow bag, the red bag, the blue bag and the white bag. So quite easier you need to just remember what kind of waste is disposed in which kind of bag and that is what the examiner wants to test your knowledge about. Okay. Like for example the uh yellow it is used for the anatomical waste human anatomical waste, red for the plastic waste, blue for the glass and then white for the sharp materials like the needle and the blades. Okay. So this is the basic of the biomedical waste management. Then moving on to levels of prevention. Again a very important topic. In the past years three to four times this question has been repeated. this topic has been repeatedly asked. So they can give a case- based scenario or they can just give direct oneliner kind of questions from the level of prevention. So it is classified into the primordial, primary, secondary and tertiary. Okay. So I have already uh posted small short recall kind of videos for all these topics. The link I will be giving it in the description box. So I would suggest you please do check the description box and watch all these videos to have a quick recall and a quick revision of all the important points which you must know from these particular topics.
And lastly one important topic from the OBG that is the PCOS in the past. TSPCOS question is the favorite question of the examiners and I have come across this question in all the papers which u have been asked like while solving the pq I have come across all these questions. So frequently questions are asked on the case based scenarios like a young female coming with M&A findings will be given.
So image based question you need to know it and then the management how you will manage it. So these are the various things about the PCOS which you must remember. So these were some sha topics which I am expecting to be coming in the upcoming exam.
You don't always need to study everything in depth. Sometime mastering high yield topics is what makes the difference and these are the high yield topics which you must focus on in the last minute.
