[00:00:00]Indian Prime Minister has called for austerity measures. United States President has rejected Iran's peace plan. Oil prices have gone up to above $100 a barrel. And state elections in India are over. You might think these are all unrelated events. The reality is they're all deeply connected. Let me explain. The prime minister today says you're accustomed to the work from home model. Let's go back to it. Do not buy gold for a year. Do not take your foreign trips. That I don't even consider as an austerity measure. But nevertheless, why didn't this warning come much earlier? Because clearly our oil reserves are fast depleting. Today, China does not have to worry because it is an ally of Iran. Chinese ships are not going to get blocked at the straight of Hormuz. They will be perhaps cleared.
