Kirkland’s provocative critique highlights the reality of maternal gatekeeping, yet his sweeping generalizations oversimplify a complex sociological crisis into a mere conflict of individual egos. His analysis prioritizes anecdotal blame over a nuanced understanding of the systemic factors that drive family fragmentation.

TK Kirkland: Most Kids Are Fatherless Because Their Mothers Wanted to Prove a Point (Part 9)Added:
You said uh a lot of kids don't have fathers in their life because their mother is trying to prove a point.
>> Absolutely.
>> Yeah, I felt that one.
>> Yeah, I saw you I I saw when you when you um um liked it. And I don't You didn't leave a comment, but you liked it. Yeah.
And here's to the women about what Vlad just said.
I've been through a lot.
So, to one of my kids' moms, and um used to try to throw hate, shade, used to try to keep my um child away from me.
And I know that she goes on these interviews or watch them and then tries to reach out to my daughter before I can get to my daughter just to prove so she can prove a point that your dad could be lying.
What she has not understood now is my daughter's older now.
She sees through the [ __ ] >> Mhm.
>> And no matter what this person says to her, my daughter comes back and tells me, and we have a father-and-daughter conversation about it. So, I'm good with life, and I want men to understand one thing. One day your child grows up. Just got to stand the test of time.
If you If you can hang in there, depending on that woman, you can If you If you If you got it in you, I mean you got to have it in you, cuz some guys say [ __ ] it.
[ __ ] it.
But, if you can hang in there hang on until that child gets a certain age, I promise you it'll work in your favor.
>> Let me ask you a question, right?
If you look at all the kids that are being raised by their mothers.
>> Yes.
>> What percentage of it is the father being a deadbeat versus the mother creating a situation where the father cannot be in that child's life?
>> I think the it's the mother creating a situation that the father can't be in the child's life, but here's what women don't understand.
Most of the time when you're having sex, well, first sex makes babies, not love.
Let's make sure we're clear.
>> Right.
>> Mostly everybody is broke when you finally when you're having sex when you're young.
>> Mhm.
>> Majority of the time.
>> Yeah, right.
>> People are broke, right?
>> Here's the game, ladies. If you listen to me, this uh change your life.
If the man you had a baby with is broke, be kind to that gentleman.
Be respectful. Let him see his kid.
Cuz one day the tables may turn.
>> Mhm.
>> And that man will grow up to be a very successful man.
And if you gave him hell, if you took him through the wringer, and he gets to where he has to get to, you're going to feel it.
>> Mhm.
>> I'm telling you now, you're going to feel it. Now, everybody's not going to make it successful, but make it easy for the dad.
Don't be so [ __ ] up.
Be Be a lady.
Be honorable because it would change a man's life. There's men walking around crying on the inside cuz they can't see their child.
>> Mhm.
>> There are men crying cuz they the girl took the baby and disappeared. And this guy has to go on with this empty feeling for the rest of his life. I had men, Chicago guys, call me about these type of situations. And I have to be honest, this is what I tell them when I have my podcast.
TK, what should I do?
I said, start a whole 'nother [ __ ] a [ __ ] that [ __ ] No, no, no.
When you can't find them, when it's difficult, and most people don't have your situation or my situation. They're not built like that, right? Sometimes this stuff can destroy people. I'm talking about destroy them.
>> No, that's true. Listen, because like I said on Corey Holcomb show, I'm no longer married, right? I went through two divorces and uh a lot of men simply can't afford it.
>> They can't.
>> I run into men in the courthouse who are defending themselves. Yes.
And they come out crying.
>> Yep.
>> Like, "Yo, I just lost all my custody.
The judge wouldn't let me uh present this like information or whatever." I'm "Who's your lawyer?" "I don't have one."
Yeah. Yeah, it's bad.
>> difference, Vlad.
>> It's bad.
>> Yeah, you got to have money. You got to have money. You got to have money.
>> to have money.
>> And you got to understand what state you're in.
See, you could Google this.
Each state gets 40 to 60 million dollars a year to make sure they put men on child support. This is a fact.
>> Mhm.
>> They are the the the the the system is programmed to make that woman get on welfare.
Or to get Medicaid.
This is a fact. In whatever state you're in, Google how much money does your state get for child support for them to proceed with that um those procedures. It's insane. And there's so many people that falls and when I drive and I'm all different around the country, when I see homeless people, see, cuz most people were not born out of love.
They was born in one night stand.
>> Mhm.
>> They I [ __ ] it. It was good that night. I don't want to see the [ __ ] no [ __ ] more.
And if your money ain't right, that child chances of really making it is slim.
And it goes to show. Hey, you been to court?
>> Mhm.
>> That line is around the corner like Vine or Drake album.
People be thinking I'm bullshitting. Go to child support court on a Monday and watch what you see.
>> Yeah.
>> Women lined up with their paperwork like they about to do their thing proud. They about to take a man out. Not knowing that the system has put you in that position for them to win, not you.
Ah, it's cold game.
>> Well, here's the flip side of this conversation, right? Because if everyone's young and everyone's broke, I get it. You get pregnant, you decide to keep the baby and so forth.
But if you're a little bit older >> Okay.
>> right?
And you get pregnant by a man who's going to need a ride to get to the baby shower.
You may want to consider getting rid of the baby.
>> So true.
>> You may want to consider it.
>> I totally agree with you 1,000%.
>> If he needs a ride to get to the baby shower and you know that that's going to be his situation >> That's something.
>> 6 7 months from now cuz he doesn't have a car right now when you got pregnant.
>> This may not be the right father to your child. You may want to wait.
>> And to add to that, just the same way a man has to get consent from a woman to have sex a woman should be able to get consent from a man before she has his baby.
>> Yeah, that's a pipe dream. That's never going to happen.
>> I know.
That is a pipe dream.
>> but you know how you could accomplish that, which is the way I accomplished it?
>> You get a vasectomy.
>> Yep.
>> But you freeze your sperm first.
>> Yep. But takes money to do that.
>> Not that much money.
>> It doesn't, but they don't >> Well, no, no vasectomy.
I believe it's actually covered by your insurance or it's a relatively low cost operation. To freeze your sperm, I think costs maybe $100 a year to keep it frozen. It's a relatively relatively low cost >> Black man, please say it again.
I need >> And here we go.
>> Please.
>> Vasectomy, let's just let's just Google it.
>> Yeah.
>> Let's just go chat GPT.
>> to listen to this. He's about to save your life.
Listen to him.
>> A vasectomy costs between $300 and $3,000 depending on whether you have insurance. With insurance is usually zero to $500 out of your pocket. Without insurance that's $800 to $1,500. So for $800 bucks without insurance you can get a vasectomy. You will spend that in the first week on a new baby.
>> Damn sure will.
>> The first week.
>> Yes, you will.
>> And you could permanently make sure that you don't get anyone pregnant.
>> Yes.
>> Especially if you have a kid or multiple kids and you're out there, you know, not using condoms, thinking you're going to you're the pull out master like my man Michael Blackson.
>> Right.
>> who's like, "Uh I I have the greatest pull out game either anywhere. I've had no kids in 20 years. Had two kids within 6 months."
>> Yep, so true, man.
>> So true. But freeze your sperm first.
>> this story.
>> the cryobank I think I spend like maybe a couple hundred dollars a year.
>> Wow.
>> And if you you're late on your payments they won't destroy your sperm. They'll still, you know, you'll have to pay it back.
>> does that feel knowing that you got your kids somewhere chilling? That's some fly [ __ ] It's like a James Bond movie.
>> Listen, you never have to pull out.
>> That's awesome.
>> I would say >> I'm I'm glad I got my kids now but man >> You never have to pull out and Like for example, you could get into relationships with women.
I I remember before I did all that, like when I was younger, there were a lot of girls that I would have sex with once and I'm like, "Damn, I I got to use a condom that first time." And I'm like, "If I keep doing this without a condom she's going to get pregnant. I do not want a baby."
>> Yes, yes, smart man.
>> I like her, she's cool, I just don't want her to get pregnant. I don't trust that she's on the pill or whatever else.
Once you got a vasectomy it opens you up to different types of relationships cuz the pregnancy is no longer an issue.
>> Absolutely.
>> Right? So >> I wish I knew you when I was younger.
>> [laughter] >> Well, listen, one of the greatest decisions of my life. Honestly, one of the greatest decisions of my life.
>> manager and manager back David Kleiman, after I had my oldest son, he told me I should get a vasectomy. I thought like, who does white man tell the black man?
You know, I took it I took it personal.
But I'm glad all the kids is here, but on top of that I also had good dick and I wanted to share it with everybody. And that was a problem.
>> Did you share it with with a vasectomy, though?
>> Yeah, but but but back then it wasn't it wasn't knowledgeable in in my culture, right? Growing up in my city, vasectomy.
I wish it was something that was talked about more. But because what we're doing now, there's somebody that's listening to us that's going to do exactly what we just suggested. I'm happy that we're putting that out there.
Yeah. Cuz somebody is listening to us. I promise you.
