XRP BROKE OUT! WILL IT RALLY?🚨 (XRP PRICE PREDICTION & NEWS 2026)

[00:00:03]Good morning, everybody. Welcome back to Selenex Crypto. Hope you're all doing great and welcome to this new video right here on XRP. And oh my, oh my, we have something to talk about with XRP in this video.

[00:00:14]Um yesterday evening, we did already break out against my expectations.

[00:00:18]Generally, I've told you for XRP over the course of the weekend, so I I make XRP updates daily, so I told you twice that I did expect us to break into one you know, to to break our our key resistance level at 1.43 1.45 and to get a move into 1.57, but I told you I don't think we're going to sustainably do that you know, in in the next day or two, right? So basically, short-term over the course of the weekend.

[00:00:43]And the question is is okay, well, did we do it? Because obviously, we broke above that.

[00:00:48]We rallied up higher. We tested those highs that we created the 17th of April.

[00:00:52]Um [snorts] but and and technically, like we're still holding the breakout above 1.43. We're not holding the entire breakout though. We have already lost some critical levels here at 1.45.

[00:01:03]So the big question, and it is a very very important question for XRP because the the price action over the course of the next week at least is going to is going to be based on that. And our conclusion of what's happening right now, right? Was this just a liquidation spike, which it was, right? It was 100% a liquidation spike and I'll show you that.

[00:01:24]But was it a a liquidation Was it a breakout liquidation spike and are we now going to rally again? Or was it a fakeout liquidation spike? And are we going to push down lower right now?

[00:01:34]Those are two two super different scenarios and both of them are possible at the moment.

[00:01:40]And we'll discuss which one is most likely.

[00:01:42]Um at the moment, we're no longer Well, we're we're trading at the breakout above the previous month February high, right? So so that does matter. That is relevant.

[00:01:51]Um but but if you zoom out to the or if you if you zoom in a little bit [clears throat] more for XRP here. What you can see um is is that we are trading below the two-month value area high, right? So, which is basically the higher time frame range high, right? So, the previous month value area high, that's that's fine. That's good that we broke above that. Great.

[00:02:13]But losing that on the higher [snorts] time frames is bad. Here you can also see why it was a liquidation spike. You can see that spike into the upside. Point of control at the top of the candle, which means it's a liquidation spike. So, now look, I'm slightly bearish on XRP right here.

[00:02:28]I think short-term it's most likely >> [snorts] >> also with those gaps and and just in general those those significant levels into the downside such as 1.42 and 1/2 cents, um which is the previous week VWAP. I think it's very likely that we're going to get a move into the downside. Um generally the market is also pulling back slightly, and if you look at XRP, the funding rates are quite high, right?

[00:02:47]So, so it's not If you look at the move that we had overnight, it's it's not that we had some massive spot buys coming in. No, it was very over-leveraged, and it still is to a certain extent.

[00:02:56]So, based on that, I would say a pullback is most likely right here. And then it's going to the it's going to depend very much on how we react at that pullback, right? So, short-term, not only fundamentally, if you look at the order flow, but also if if you if you just look at the market conditions right now, um you know, I'd I'd say it's most likely we're going to get a pullback, but then it depends, right? I mean, 1.43, 1.42 and 1/2 cents, I do expect support there. Will we be able to reclaim the breakout after that, right? So, will we, after pulling back, which I think is most likely, will we be able to reclaim and break out above 1.45 and 1/2 cents again? That's going to be the big question. And honestly, like I I I think we have enough indications with the funding rates, with the bearish price action right here, to expect a pullback.

[00:03:45]I'm [snorts] not certain if I if I if I think XRP is going to be able to break out afterwards. I I think it's most likely Bitcoin is going to pull back right here, or at least that it's the most likely scenario at the moment as long as we don't get any good news. Like XRP BTC also doesn't look super bad, right? I mean, if you like this is the best price action we've seen in a while, but it's also not necessarily bullish yet. I mean, this could also just be a move like we had in the middle of April where we had tested the same highs by the way before this goes into into a downtrend again. And if XRP is not going to outperform Bitcoin and Bitcoin is going to fall down in price, it's it's going to be an ugly picture.

[00:04:22]So, short-term I'd say expect a pullback and I would say for now it's better [snorts] to assume the worst. And the worst for XRP would be a pushback into or a pullback into 1.43 1.42 and 1/2 cents and that we are unable to reclaim the breakout then. Then we're just going to fall back down into 1.38 and this was just a liquidation spike, nothing more, nothing less. So, I'll keep you updated on that. I would say for now assume this. Keep your eyes on 1.43 1.43 1.42 and 1/2 cents. If we're able to break out from there, then the situation changes and I'll keep you updated on that also in my middle of the day market update today.
